Notes on accommodation: The living area and the 2 bedrooms have air conditioning for the summer months and heating for the winter evenings. Both bathrooms have heaters if required. Electricity is included in the rental rates from April to October. It will be metered and charged separately from November to March. For your peace of mind a smoke alarm has been fitted in the living area. Outside: The apartment's large and secluded south-west facing balcony is a wonderful spot for sunbathing and Al fresco dining. It is sheltered but benefits from the sun from mid-morning until sunset. It is equipped with a large glass dining table with seating for four, a retractable sun awning, 2 sun beds and a drinks table. With its lake and marina views it is a lovely spot for simply relaxing whilst sipping a drink and watching the sun go down and watching the beautiful swans and fish from the balcony. Only 2 minutes walk from the apartment is the 4 star Marina Club with its superb 30m outdoor pool, children's pool and restaurants with sun terrace. During the season our guests enjoy complimentary, unlimited access to this luxury facility. Normal daily charge ranges from 9 to 15 euros per person. The club has recently opened a luxury spa and gym with plunge pool, which is available to our guests for a local daily charge. A newly built municipal indoor swimming and gym is also located within easy walking distance. Utility Room: An iron, ironing board and 2 hairdryers have also been provided for your convenience. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: You will be provided with luxury towels, which will be changed twice a week and cotton bedlinen, which will be changed weekly. The rental also includes a welcome pack. Cleaning during your stay is available at a extra cost. Other: We have excellent dedicated Wi-fi internet access with Apple TV and Chrome Cast dongle

What a great apartment!

Just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our 2 weeks in this apartment.

It has everything you'd want in a self catering apartment. Very uncluttered and spacious. The main living area is very comfortable and the kitchen facilities make for an easy fortnight washing etc.

The location is ideal in my opinion. Your just far enough away from noise yet only a few minutes walk to cafes, bars and restaurants that surround the marina.

The marina itself is a great location for relaxing and watching the world go by. There's enough good entertainment at night with singers or bands as well.

Further on, the old town is only a slow 15 minute walk from the marina and has everything you could wish for. Jam packed with good restaurants, bars and cafes' that leave you asking if you have enough time to get round them all. Try Bora or Goji cafes for healthy options, smoothies and the like. We didn't feel disappointed once eating out. As the main area in Lagos is the old town there's no "strip" as such which makes it a great place for families to come to and feel comfortable walking about later on.

To the left of Lagos is an absolutely stunning beach, which was surprising quiet (June) and we enjoyed a few walks.

If you do the grotto tour you'll see there's a good few smaller beaches you can get to.

Overall, we loved Lagos and hopefully we'll be back to this apartment and can't recommend it highly enough.

Home away from home!

The apartment is very comfortable and more like a home than 'just' a holiday apartment. A welcome pack is provided which provides the basics, no need to visit a supermarket first. There are lovely pictures on the wall and a huge book and DVD library.

Being on the top floor the balcony has the sun earlier than lower floors, a very good extendable awning is provided if you need some shade at midday!

The towels are changed twice a week, the bedding once a week.

If you can't live without internet access, the high speed broadband and wifi are excellent.

Karen is very friendly and helpful, she provides contact numbers in case of any difficulties.

Another fab holiday in this lovely apartment

We have been staying in this lovely apartment since 2009 and have returned every year, sometimes more than once.

The apartment is as lovely as ever, very high spec with everything you need and more. Super fast wifi and fitted kitchen with washing machine so you can do all your washing before you get home and keep your holiday clothes fresh. Always clean and very well maintained.

It is in a fab location with lovely views. 2mins walk to the marina, 5 mins to the very well stocked supermarket lingo doce (with the best fresh baked rolls), 10 mins to the beach and into town.

The lovely balcony gets the sun all afternoon and well into the evening. We ate here a couple of evenings and it was lovely.

Karen and Antony have always been lovely to deal with and very helpful and accommodating.

We had a lovely holiday with fabulous weather and couldn't think of a better place to spend our holidays. Looking forward to another stay next year already.

Fantastic apartment

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Antony & Karen's apartment. We are a family of 5 (children aged 14, 12 & 10) and it worked perfectly for us. The apartment was well equipped, clean and modern with a lovely spacious balcony to enjoy our breakfast and our early evening drinks whilst watching the sun set!

Just a short walk to a fantastic pool, larger than expected, plenty of sunbeds and a bar for drinks and ice creams.

The marina has a number of bars and restaurants, but we loved walking into the old town (a short walk over the foot bridge). Plenty of lovely restaurants to choose from, shops, a market and generally wonderful atmosphere.

Meia Praia beach was a short 10 minute walk - a beautiful long stretch of beach with plenty of water sports. We also explored other beaches close by - the grotto's are a must - all of which were fantastic.

We would definitely recommend this apartment, Antony & Karen go out of their way to be helpful and accommodating!

Excellent apartment

Our family of 5 (including 2 teenagers) really enjoyed our 2 week stay at this apartment.

It is located just a few minutes pleasant walk from the Marina and not so much further from Lagos town, with its busy shops, restaurants and family atmosphere. It is also easy walking distance from the stunning Meia Praia beach.

The apartment itself is excellent, providing plenty of room for the 5 of us including 2 large bedrooms and an ample living area. We enjoyed having breakfast and lunch on the spacious balcony, as well as the use of the facilities of the nearby 4 star Marina Club, especially the large pool. The kids also enjoyed all the home entertainment technology the apartment had to offer.

Karen and Antony have obviously put a lot of consideration into the needs and comforts of guests staying at the apartment and some nice touches, such as some provisions waiting for us on our arrival late into the night, just added to a really enjoyable holiday experience.

We would have no hesitation in staying again.

Very well equipped , so comfortable.

We return yet again to this excellent , very well equipped appartment.

Continued improvements, new dishwasher, and new sun blind on balcony . Weatherman said it would rIn every day, he was so wrong. We ate at sone lovely restaurants. On the marina and in the town . All once again perfect.

Booking Notes:
25% deposit required at time of booking, remainder to paid in full, 8 weeks prior to arrival. For longer term Winter bookings, a deposit of 30% is required. A security deposit of £300 will be required with the final payment. This will be returned within a week of departure from the property. Please note this deposit will not be used against any minor damage such as broken glassware or crockery.

Changeover Day:
Saturday changeover day, however this is flexible in low season. The apartment will be available from 14h on arrival and should be vacated by 10h on day of departure. We will try to accommodate any reasonable variations on these timings where possible.

Notes on prices:
Prices are for the property per week in UK sterling. Discount for second week available in low season. Winter rates based on 2 person occupancy, please add £25 per person per week for additional occupants. Discounted long-term winter lets available. Please enquire for Easter and Christmas/New Year rates. Christmas rates include a luxury welcome pack and Christmas decorations. An extra bed for a child is available for a charge of £50 per week.
