This charming Perigordian property consists of three tastefully renovated cottages gathered around a central courtyard, set on a hillside location enjoying magnificent views all year round. The beautiful surroundings make this location a perfect base for walking, cycling or birdwatching holidays.

The three cottages can be rented all together for large family groups (up to 18) or individually. Just 4.5km from the pretty village of Plazac with its cafe, bakery, organic grocery store and an ancient church and presbytery. Close to Rouffignac (6 kms), Montignac 16 kms, Les Eyzies and Sarlat within easy reach by car.

The three houses are located in a private garden with a separate 12 x 6 in-ground swimming pool adjacent to the property. The Maison sleeps 8 in three bedrooms and two shower rooms, the Grange sleeps 8/9 in four bedrooms and three shower/bathrooms and the Studio sleeps two people with separate bathroom. Wifi internet, outdoor games equipment, UK Freesat television and dvd player, baby cot and high chair.

Gorgeous Views in a relaxing location

The Property was lovely, with fabulous views that were perfect to wake up to and while the Drive way was a little longer and rougher than we expected it did lead to a level of seclusion that meant we didn't need to lock the car all the time it was outside. The WIfi was exceptional, The pool clean and accessible (without worrying about the kids falling in) and Sophie and Ben were a joy - that the kids took a shine to as well.

Everything we could have wished for

We had a wonderful weeks holiday at this charming rustic property.

Everything we could wish for was on hand for the comfort of our mixed family group including teenagers, younger kids and grandparents. 

The property itself is a lovely traditional design, though tastefully upgraded with all mod cons. The layout was perfect for us consisting as it does of 3 separate buildings This allowed us to socialise together or retreat if we wished to our individual areas. We all loved relaxing on the raised deck in the evenings as the sun set over the hills beyond the valley.

The location is brilliant. It is very quiet and private with spectacular views, and just a short drive to a couple of nice villages with several bars, restaurants and a supermarket. Its great for exploring the local countryside.

Everything was spotlessly clean including the pool, the gardens were well tended and there were lots of thoughtful extras that made our stay just that little bit more special, not to mention keeping the kids occupied !

We never had reason to contact the owners but met them on our arrival when they greeted us. They were very helpful and left us loads of useful local information.

We simply could not fault a single thing and hope to return again in the near future

This property was an ideal purchase for us for summer holiday rentals, offering a very quiet sunny location and not overlooked. The houses are set on a hillside with great views from the terrace up and down the valley and the property is on the sunny side of the hill, facing south.

The property is in the countryside but only 6 kms from Rouffignac St Cernin which has all amenities and good shopping and weekly market. Walking and cycling are immediately available from the house. The property is not overlooked and enjoys lovely views over the surrounding area. If you are keen on birds you will be able to watch them from the balcony overlooking the wooded valley.
