Everything important is in walking distance, including supermarkets 5 minutes, and variety of Spanish and English restaurants. The sandy beach and promenade running along the Mar Menor coast are just 10 minutes walk away.

Brilliant apartment, will be back!

This is our second stay in this apartment, it's brilliant. Very easy booking process, apartment manager Kevin is very helpful and friendly. The apartment is in a good location, very relaxed, comfortable, feels like home. It has everything you could ever need, can't recommend this place enough. Thanks for letting us stay again, we had a wonderful time, I'm sure we will be back soon.

Brilliant holiday - perfect place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment in Oct 2015. There was everything you could ever need in this apartment and the location is perfect. Close to the beach, restaurants, bars and supermarkets. We felt very safe staying in Los Alcazares and Puerto Marina. The apartment itself is lovely and very comfy, we felt right at home. There was everything you needed to get your holiday started in the apartment. We would certainly stay here again!

Location

From the Owner

Los Alcazares is a truly great location for both families and couples. The area has very restricted building regulations so you won't see the tall high-rise blocks more common further north. There are a plentiful array of bars and restaurants a short 5 minute walk away situated along a pedestrianised walkway which will also take you down to the beautiful beaches of the warm waters of the Mar Menor. There are also 3 large supermarkets all within walking distance. We provide a shopping trolley in the apartment to save your arms from heavy shopping bags! The apartment is well equipped and comfortable and we have endeavoured to try and provide everything for an enjoyable and carefree stay including washing machine, wi-fi, English TV, DVD player, air conditioning etc. Los Alcazares is a popular holiday destination with the Spanish people themselves and although the apartments are predominantly owned by british people, there is a good mix of people to chat with by the pools during the busier months.

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

10-15 mins walk to the sandy beach, most of the route is a pedestrianised walkway with shops and restaurants either side. Only a couple of minutes if traveling by car.

Travel:

Car is unnecessary but recommended for visiting local tourist attractions, 10 mins from Murcia Airport (transfers service available). Los Alcazares town and markets in walking distance.

From the Owner

There are two swiming pools visible from our balcony along with a toddler pool and there is a third pool a short walk away. During the summer months these areas offer plenty to keep the kids entertained all day long and you will find plenty of inflatables, pool toys, foldable sun loungers and beach towels are provided in the apartment for your use during your stay. Our apartment is situated in an area that is local to the beach, bars, shops and restaurants which means that if you just like to completely relax on your holiday, a car is not necessary. However there are plenty of areas to visit if you do hire a car and enjoy exploring. Historic Cartagena is a 20 minute drive away. Torrevieja is just 30 minutes away and there are also plenty of new shopping malls including La Zenia which is fab! As well as an array of golf courses including Roda, Polaris World and La Manga.
