Large, south facing, air conditioned, ground floor apartment sleeps 4 plus cot for young child/baby, overlooking the 2 pools and landscaped gardens. Recently redecorated both inside and out. Fully equipped for your every need. We offer free WiFi and Air Conditioning. A private furnished roof terrace with built in BBQ boasts 180 degree sea views. Adjacent to Carvoeiro Tennis Club (also with free WiFi), and centrally located which is perfect for the beautiful sandy beaches, huge variety of activities and golf courses that are available in the Algarve. Walking distance from restaurants and the centre of Carvoeiro where you will find an even wider selection of restaurants, shops and bars. 35 minutes from Faro Airport.

Beaches, Restaurants, Banks & Information: There are many beautiful sandy beaches along this coastline and only a few minutes drive from the apartment. Praia Grande at Ferragudo is a large sandy beach, safe for younger children. Praia de Rocha is a large beach with a water sport centre for those more adventurous with jet skiing and windsurfing to name just a few activities. Carvoeiro Beach is located in the heart of Carvoeiro, Caneiros Beach just down the road towards Ferragudo boasts crashing waves from the Atlantic and Benagil Beach.

There are numerous restaurants within a few minutes walk from the apartment. The village of Sesmarias is a 10 mins walk away and offers a mini market, bars and restaurants. Carvoeiro centre is 30 minutes walk or just a few minutes in the car catering for all holiday needs including a tourist information centre, restaurants, bars, banks, pharmacy and supermarkets.

Activities, Golf & Tennis: Excellent for families or couples or anyone wanting either a relaxing pool and beach holiday or for those wanting a more adventurous activity holiday. The Algarve boasts a host of activities for all ages, such as horse riding, boat hire, fishing, scuba diving, water sports and a wealth of golf courses. There’s also 2 large water parks, zoo and zoo marine for fun days out with the kids. We are also adjacent to the Carvoeiro tennis club with 20 courts, fully equipped gym, sauna, aerobic classes, a large swimming pool, restaurant and bar.

There are a wealth of golf courses in the Algarve.

A 5 minute drive: Pestana Golf Complex incorporating: Quinta do Gramacho and Vale da Pinta with a full driving range plus practice facilities; Vale do Milho.

Within a 20 minute drive: Palmares; Penina; Alto Golf; Morgado de Reguengo (2 x 18 hole courses Morgado and Alamos); Quinta da Boavista; Silves.

Within a 45 minute drive: Parque da Floresta; Salgados; Castro Marim Golfe; Sheraton Pin

Adjacent to the Tennis Park is Carvoeiro Clube de Tenis, with 12 courts, a fully equipped gym, dance and aerobics classes. Mini golf, Table Tennis and Table Football. They also have a superb pool and cafe.

Just the Ticket!

We arrived very late and were relieved to find the apartment very easily. After a good night’s sleep we ventured out to find the supermarket. The owner had recommended Jumbo to be one of the cheapest (and for petrol too). Once we had food and drink everything else was a breeze. Relaxed by the pool where the kids (7 & 9) had a great time and made new friends. Found several great beaches, although finding a parking space wasn’t easy. We didn’t eat out much and enjoyed the evenings having a BBQ on the roof terrace. The apartment itself was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and superbly furnished. The kitchen had everything we needed. A great holiday hope to return soon.

A wonderful relaxing holiday

We had been recommended Carvoeiro by some friends as we wanted a holiday we’d not been before, which had good restaurants and bars but not the clubs and pubs associated with most resorts. Carvoeiro was just perfect.

The apartment was just what we wanted and absolutely ideal for the 4 of us. Large rooms with lovely comfortable furniture and with plenty of space both inside and out. Fully fitted kitchen with everything for our needs – made a change to have a proper oven and hob and not just 2 rings!

Loved breakfast on the terrace in the morning listening to the world wake up and enjoyed BBQ’s on the roof. Walked to several of the local restaurants and into the town – Really enjoyed El and Ela and Rosa’s Bar in Sesmarias, where we couldn’t believe the price of beer – cheapest we found on holiday!

The owners must be very proud to own this property it is one of the best we have ever stayed in. They have obviously taken a great deal of trouble to ensure that their guests have everything they might need on their holiday. It is a fantastic property on an amazing complex in a great location. Met some lovely people and are looking forward to going back again. Thank you for letting us stay we had the most relaxing and wonderful time.

Just what the doctor ordered

Lovely modern apartment and well equipped. Chose a ground floor apartment this year for the outside space and much easier with the kids. Great sun trap just in front of the apartment and plenty of shade on the terrace and ideal for watching our lot in the pool! Had a small problem with the TV, spoke to a lovely Dutch lady who with a quick call got it sorted! A real mix of people on this small complex from couples to families of all ages – best thing, everyone was so friendly and the kids had a great time which in turn made our holiday so much more relaxing. Just what the doctor ordered!!!!

Coast/Beach:

Our apartment is just 35 minutes from Faro airport. Car hire is recommended, not only for your convenience, but also to give you the opportunity of exploring the Algarve.

We have been visiting Portugal for over 18 years. Carvoeiro being one of our favourites locations and we can offer a wealth of local knowledge on this area of the Algarve. Keys and Directions to the Apartment
Keys will be posted to guests approximately 2 weeks prior to arrival (or key collection can be made from the Reception). Directions from Faro airport will be emailed with a general information document about the apartment.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is negotiable depending on existing bookings. Arrival Time after 3pm. Departure time by 10am. This can be altered if requested but will depend upon existing bookings.

Food parcels can be arranged and are payable locally.

We do ask that guests make sure they have adequate insurance cover in the event of holiday cancellation.

  • Very comfortable beds that can be pushed together to create 2 super king size beds. The master bedroom also benefits from extra long beds at 220cm in length. There is also a travel cot and bedding. Both rooms have fully fitted wardrobes with more than adequate hanging space, drawers and shelving. In addition there is a dressing table and wall mirrors. The safe is in the wardrobe of the master bedroom and both bedrooms have ceiling fans as well as air conditioning.

Notes:

  • This is a small complex of 20 apartments all privately owned, set in a peaceful location which allows for both privacy or enjoying the company of other guests. The complex is securely fenced and gated. Recently redecorated both inside and out, with matching furnishings continue to keep our apartment at a very high standard. The air-conditioning/heating make it ideal for holidays all year round. The apartment is non-smoking but ashtrays are provided for use on the terraces. Outside: There are 4 sunloungers, table, chairs and bench , seating for upto 6 on both the lower and roof terrace. There are numerous toys for the garden and the beach located on the roof terrace, as well as a selection of books, dvd's and games in the apartment. Access to the complex is via a quiet cul de sac where there is ample parking for guests just a few steps from the perimeter gates. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided. Other: Patio doors from the lounge lead onto a private and furnished terrace, then directly down to the pool and garden area. Stairs to the right of the apartment give access to the private roof terrace also furnished and with a built in BBQ.
