Villa in Javea, Costa Blanca - Peaceful Location With Outstanding Country Views

Villa Marisa is situated on the side of a gentle hill, 3 kms from the beach and town and 4 kms from the golf course. It stands in a large garden with a superb 10 x 5m pool (underwater lighting) within a walled terrace which basks in sunshine until evening. A fully glazed terrace is furnished with dining table and chairs, as well as a cane suite. By the pool, a built-in barbecue offers an alternative means of cooking for the alfresco enthusiast and a lawn provides an additional area for play and relaxation. The accommodation is on one level (although there is a garage and a car port beneath the villa) and comprises a spacious beamed lounge with stone fireplace containing a wood burning stove. Satellite television, DVD player and video are provided. The lounge is separated from the dining area by attractive stone arches. The kitchen, recently refurbished, is large and well equipped and beyond the kitchen door, there's a pergola style patio that provides an alternative dining area.

About Anne Qualters

Martin and I have owned Villa Marisa since December 1985. We love it very much and visit as often as possible throughout the year. Martin's self-employed so, since he's answerable to himself alone, he's forever badgering me to have another long weekend in Javea! However I am employed so it's not always that easy for me to abandon my post, much to Martin's annoyance!

When we bought the villa, our children were just 4 and 2 so they've grown up holidaying in and around the property and now, as adults themselves, they still love returning for visits with their respective partners and groups of friends. Some of our own pals who came to stay with us early on have bought their own houses in Javea and huge numbers of us descend for birthday celebrations and New Year. Great times!

Why Anne Qualters chose Javea, Moraira and Denia Area

Quite simply, Javea is a captivating location. Since buying Villa Marisa, we have had countless friends and relatives out there to stay with us. Many of them were definitely Spain sceptics who hadn't set foot in the country for decades, preferring France, Italy and Portugal. I can say quite honestly that they've all been converted thanks to Javea's amazing drawing power and some have even bought their own houses in the area.

The scenery is beautiful - tree covered hills, vine covered terraces, groves of olives and oranges, small rocky coves, ideal for snorkelling and a wide sandy beach for families; Javea's got it all!

Eating out is a joy too. No matter what your preferences, there'll be a restaurant for you and Spanish wines, especially the reds, are smooth and wonderful.

What makes this villa unique

Villa Marisa is ideally situated. We're not right in the bustle of the sea front but it only takes a few minutes to drive there or, in the other direction, to the golf course or the supermarket. The property's in a cul de sac road so it's quiet and, at night, with no street lighting and air con, you're guaranteed an excellent tranquil sleep!

We've always treated Villa Marisa as a home, rather than a mere rental property and we don't have one set of equipment for ourselves and another for our guests. If we feel the need for something, we buy it and it's there for everybody's benefit. We've always thought our house is very special - we love it - and we've always wanted our visitors to feel the same way too. Judging by the many thank you letters we've received over the years, most do.

Highly recommended villa

Firstly can I say that Anne (the owner) is extremely helpful We were staying in another villa the week before and Anne looked it up for us to give us directions to her villa. The communication between myself and Anne was very pleasant and informative. The villa is amazing it felt like home from the moment we walked in, relaxing. Whilst we were there the weather hit 39c and the shaded eating area was most welcomed, and the air conditioned bedrooms were fabulous. The pool area is is spacious and the pool itself well maintained and clean like the villa.It is about 5 mins drive to Arenal and 30 mins walk.

The villa was first class with everything you would need to have a great vacation.

The owner was very helpful prior to our arrival answering several questions we had. The villa was extremely clean and tidy when we arrived with goodies left in the fridge for our first cup of tea. The villa is well appointed and the pool is very inviting, especially when returnng from a hot trip out. Wifi is provide but it is very patchy throughout the property. We had a great 10 days and would book this property again as it is situated in a lovely area and for us was a nice quiet relaxing place to stay.

There's a Facebook forum called 'Javea Connect', frequented mostly by Javea residents & umpteen posts appear on it with people whining & moaning about unreliable reception. Great Holiday

The villa is in a quiet location, well equipped and to a high standard. It has a large well maintained garden and a nice pool with good views. During a very hot July the air conditioning in the bedrooms worked well, although we did find the lounge got a bit warm in the evenings.

The main Javea beach is close by. Valencia and Benidorm (where there are adventure/water parks) are both about an hour away by car. There were plenty of good restaurants and supermarkets in the area.

We didn’t have any problems with the villa, but the owner was helpful and maintained good communications.

Strongly recommended.

Lovely villa

A lovely villa with all the comforts of home and afew more besides. Brilliant pool and garden. Plenty of space to relax with many places to eat nearby especially. El Chamizo in Moraira.

Great villa and nice owners

We've been visiting Javea for 20 years including owning our own villa and we found this villa one of the best villas we have stayed at in Javea.

We found the owners really nice people to deal with and they were really accommodating of our needs.

The villa is ideally located only a few minutes from the beach area by car. The villa had a really nice large feel and the pool was ideally located. There was a nice mix of modern decors along with some nice older style features.

When using Owners Direct for your booking, we ask for a deposit of 50% of the total, with the remainder falling due 8 weeks prior to your departure date. Payments will be made via bank transfer, as used by Owners Direct.
If you fail to pay the full balance by the due date, we reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled and level appropriate cancellation charges.
The villa deposit is non-refundable and we therefore advise most strongly that you take out holiday insurance at the time of booking to ensure that, in the event of cancellation for whatever reason, a claim can be put in to recoup payments made.
a) By you: Cancellation must be in writing, signed by the person who signed the Booking Form and will be acknowledged by us.
b) By us: We reserve the right in circumstances beyond our control to cancel your booking and, in such an event, we shall refund all monies paid to us.
