Apartment in Vence, Nr Nice, Cote d'Azur - Gated Residence Within Walking Distance Of Vence With Free WiFi

Exceptional 1 bedroom apartment with stunning views to the sea and St. Paul de Vence from spacious (30 sq.m.) terrace. Sleeps 2/3 with large communal swimming pool, air conditioning, WiFi, UK Freeview TV, fully equipped kitchen (washing machine/dishwasher/microwave) and its own lock-up garage in one of Vence's best gated residences. A short walk from the centre of the beautiful old town with its many shops and restaurants and 15 minutes drive to the beach. Weekly charge includes end of stay cleaning (provided apartment left in reasonably clean and tidy state) as well as weekly clean for stays of two weeks and longer, linen and towels. Apartment is light and airy, being south facing, and accessed without stairs. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept any bookings with children under the age of 10 years.

We had a fabulous time in Vence. Your apartment is wonderful, really spacious and the estate kept beautifully.

The terrace was a wonderful place to sit with a cold drink and watch the sun go down and wonder who are all those millionaires jaunting about in their super yachts.

One thing which we can certainly confirm is that the walk into Vence was no problem at all.

Amazing views and much more!

This is a very special apartment. You have the strange sensation of being at home but unable to believe your eyes when you wake up each morning - the views and the light when you open the shutters are incredible. As others say here, the terrace is wonderful and it is a treat to spend so much time living comfortably outside as well as in.

Everything is clean and well-kept by both the owners and the on-the-ground agents - Guy and Chantal - who are charming, helpful and communicative.

The location is fantastic - you can walk into town and there are buses here and there. But if you get a car whole other worlds open up. Obviously there are famous beaches within easy reach but there are also exquisite hilltop towns, luscious mountains, rivers, and gorges.

Vence itself is a great town with friendly locals and everything you find to eat is delicious, there are some especially good boulangeries. And we had a good time watching the Euro Cup final in Henry's Bar!

For a comfortable, very relaxing, easy-going time, I would definitely recommend some time in Vence staying here!

A very good base for exploring the area

We spent a marvelous 2 weeks in this apartment, which was exactly as described in the listing. It was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped, a veritable home from home !!

We especially liked the large balcony, with comfortable outdoor furniture and fantastic views over the rooftops and tree-lined hills, to the sea at Cagnes-sur-Mer.

The booking process was easy and efficient and conducted by the owners in a friendly way. We were very pleased to receive the information supplied by the owners about the surrounding area (shopping, restaurants, places to visit, etc.) The agents (Guy and Chantal) were friendly, efficient and very accommodating.

I would definitely recommend this accommodation and we will hopefully visit again in the future.

It doe's what is says on the tin.

After a long drive on busy French motorways our first impressions of the complex were very positive, relatively modern, clean and tidy. This positive impression was continued in the apartment which was just as it had been described. The outstanding feature of this property is the terrace with its exceptional views across the hills and rooftops to the mediterranean. The old town of Vence is charming and provides a cool but welcoming venue for eating and drinking. Our dealings with the owners and the local property manager were all conducted in a friendly and efficient manner. We would certainly return to this apartment and would have no hesitation in recommending it.

We have been going to Vence for 25 years and we discover this apartment a couple of years ago. We have stayed in everything from our caravan to the Colombe d'Or but nothing beats the view from the huge terrace in this really well equipped apartment. This was our second stay here and we will return again as it's ideally situated. All the booking arrangements worked a treat and we can highly recommend a stay here.

Delighted to give the apartment the highest possible recommendation !!

Excellent apartment (and more!)

The apartment was very well maintained and exactly as described. The terrace was wonderful and completely private with an awning that gave shade when necessary as well as comfortable outdoor furniture - it was where we spent most of our time, eating our meals and enjoying the view. We cooked in on four evenings and ate out at restaurants in Vence for three. We were car free and used buses to and from the airport and to get around generally - although to be fair we didn't travel too far as we wanted to be sitting out on the terrace! Vence is a wonderful place to explore with lots of restaurants and very easy to walk to from the apartment. Guy and Chantal (caretakers) were so friendly and welcoming and helped us settle in when we first arrived. We had days out in Nice and St Paul but otherwise relaxed and did lots of reading. Anna and Kevin have a good range of books in the apartment too.

In short we were very impressed with the apartment and surroundings as well as the easy booking process that we are very much looking forward to returning. Chris, Dave & Caitlin Law

Excellent apartment, lovely area

We thoroughly enjoyed our week here. The apartment made an excellent base for visiting this part of Provence, with easy access to both the motorway and some beautiful villages with spectacular scenery. The complex was quiet and well kept, with a fantastic swimming pool, and the guardian was on hand if we needed any help. Vence is a lovely old town, full of character; it was an easy walk from the apartment, and we had some excellent restaurant meals there. The apartment itself is spacious and very well equipped. We especially liked the large terrace, and spent a considerable amount of time there, enjoying the seaview and the sunshine.
