Sehr schnelle eMail Kommunikation und daher auch für sehr kurzfristige Buchungen zu empfehlen. Wir hatten sehr spontan gebucht und trotzdem hat alles sehr gut funktioniert.
Empfehlung mit 5 Sternen!

Perfect place for idyllic Istria
Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at your lovely villa. It is in an ideal location to explore both coastal and inland Istria and we really appreciated all your recommendations for day trips, restaurants and activities. Although we were out most days we really did appreciate the villa when we were there - very well-equipped and comfortably furnished. There was a bit of heatwave whilst we were there so we especially appreciated the air conditioned bedrooms. We also enjoyed relaxing by the pool and just having the village a short stroll away was a real bonus. Many thanks again and we look forward to returning.
Great villa in perfect location for touring
We loved our stay at your villa. It was a great base to explore the istrian peninsula. We took on board most of your great recommendations and especially loved our trek down to the Southern tip.
Villa was beautiful with great outdoor space which we used every evening. Well equipped, lovely & clean. Handy pool & tennis court for the kids. Great stay, thanks. Hopefully will be back. Jackie & Keith
Nice place and well located
This is a very nice property, very clean and in good condition. The air conditioning is a high quality installation and worked well. It was very welcome as it would have been difficult to sleep without it. The pool was very well maintained as were the garden and the small complex generally. A small number of very minor repairs are needed, these didn't detract and the owners are aware and intend to sort at the end of the season.
The location is excellent, a short distance from the busy coast but you feel like you are in an authentic village rather than a resort. The property is in a small, newish complex on the edge of the village so it is quiet but also convenient. The village has a number of restaurants and a handful of local shops (baker, butcher, general grocers) and a couple of market stalls which can provide all you need.
Generally, it met our needs very well. It was a a very pleasant base where we spent the first part of the day relaxing with plenty of opportunities for visits within a short drive for the afternoons. We would happily return.
Perfect Base to Explore
The villa was just a great base to explore all of Istria by car. It was hot so the aircon was much appreciated! It was well equipped and the owner was very helpful, a few niggles were sorted out quickly and efficiently. The tennis court was a real bonus and the pool was great to keep kids occupied whilst packing up before heading out for the day trips. Nearby Laterna offered some great facilities to keep all the children happy and active.
We absolutely fell in love with Istria and thought Tar was a delightful village, locals were friendly and some very nice restaurants. Pizza one is a must for the kids!
The scenery in Istria was stunning. The little fishing villages, seaside towns and mountain villages were all delightful and non were rammed with tourists. The quality of the restaurants and local wines were fantastic.
There are so many places and restaurants to recommend as they are all good. Rovinj, Porec, Grozjnan, Motovan are a must. Fuzana, Pula, Novigrad also lovely. Some of the hilltop villages very atmospheric of an evening.
Take beach shoes and snorkels. Make sure you get out to sea, plenty of trips to go on.
We would not hesitate in recommending a holiday to Istria and the villa was a great family base to explore all the sights. We will be back!
From the Owner
“We looked at several different types of properties in Istria - from remote farmhouses to village houses. We chose Bella Vista because it just suited our needs as a growing family perfectly, being in a scenic, peaceful location yet just a couple of minutes’ walk to the village with its numerous restaurants, shops and amenities. The tennis court was a real pull too! It was only after we had visited the villa several times that we realised what a great location the village of Tar is overall, being close to 'Blue' Istria with its gorgeous coastline, picturesque coastal towns and great water sports and leisure pursuits yet just a short drive from 'Green' Istria with its wonderful scenery, wildlife and stunning hilltop towns.”
Activity and Interests
The coast and an excellent waterside seafood restaurant is within walking distance of the villa (less than a kilometre away) and several good beaches are within a five minute drive.
Trieste airport in Italy (Ryanair) is 90 minutes drive. Other airports are located at Rijeka (60 minutes drive) and at Pula (around a 40 minute drive). From Porec, a catamaran to Venice takes approximately 2.5 hours. Car hire is recommended to explore the spectacular scenery inland as well as along the Adriatic coast. *New for Summer 2015. Easyjet will operate a flight from Gatwick to Pula twice a week (Saturday and Tuesday) between the months of June and September
The villa is located on the outskirts of the village of Tar. Here you will find many local shops, bars, restaurants, pharmacies and a bank (with ATM facility) all within easy walking distance.
A wealth of cultural and outdoor pursuits are available just a few minutes drive from the villa. Watersports, cycling, horseriding, go-karting are just a few of the activities sports enthusiasts will enjoy. For others, simply ambling around the many villages and towns with their ancient and colourful history then stopping off to sample world-class Istrian food and wine will make for a truly unforgettable holiday. An information pack is available at the villa. This includes information on the area, recommended restaurants and suggestions for day trips, excursions and activities.

From the Owner
“Days at the villa can be relaxed and peaceful or busy and energetic usually starting with breakfast in the village followed watersports, tennis or a lazy morning on the beach or by the pool. Lunch could involve a trip to mountaintop kobola sampling truffles and delicious local wines or a picnic lunch in the shady, private garden with wonderful fresh local produce. Evenings are for enjoying the ambiance of Istria's fantastic restaurants or a chilled BBQ at home. Summer nights can be warm and humid in Istria so the luxury of having air-conditioning in every bedroom - we believe the only villa in the complex to offer this – is a real bonus. Being the most elevated villa also gives fantastic views of the coast from the upper terrace which is a favourite place to relax and watch the sunset.”
