Apartment in Los Gigantes, Tenerife, Canary Islands - Central Location with Access to all Amenities

Wonderful positioned apartment 2nd from end of complex, giving you a great view from our spacious balcony. Fully air conditioned apartment with ceiling fans for extra comfort in a 5 star complex situated close to the centre of Los Gigantes and Puerto Santiago. The apartment is situated with wonderful views and has the sun on balcony from mid morning till sunset. The apartment has full size heated pool,a baby pool and is within walking distance of a variety of amenities, restaurants and shops.

The wonderful thing about where the apartment is situated is that if you go out the back gate, down the hill to Los Gigantes

it has a real lovely relaxed feel about it with good restaurants, if you go out the front gate to Puerto Santiago / Playa de la Arena it does have the feel of authentic Canarian life mixed with tourists spots so you do have in our opinion the best of both worlds. Apartment allowance on people we cater for 4 adults and 2 children. Private underground parking.

Geraldine and myself have 3 children and 5 grandchildren and run a business ( Est 1986 ). Geraldine also work's as a Learning Support Teacher and we value family time

together as working and juggling a family is not easy but we have a good family bond.

Why Tony & Geraldine Ford chose Santiago del Teide

We went to Los Gigantes in El Marques Palace in April 2005 on a family holiday and stayed in the apartment we now own, when I returned I contacted the owner and asked if they wanted to sell the apartment to let me know and in July 2006 we became the very proud owner's of it and have enjoyed every minute we have visited the apartment, Geraldine as myself travel there twice a year and I always try to fit a week in on AGM meetings as I just love being there. Los Gigantes does have a feel about it that is friendly, warm and along with the stunning weather and scenery just makes you want to go again and again.

What makes this apartment unique

We enjoy the wonderful views from the sunny spacious balcony ( as seen in pictures ) the apartment is in an area of relaxing friendly locals and our children just go there to unwind and enjoy as do many guest's from our portfolio that return year after year. We also have an underground parking space for you to use. The supermarket cook's fresh bread every day for you to enjoy breakfast on the balcony and if you need any shade, we have roller blinds to wind down to keep you in the shade if you need it, and lastly Geraldine and I just enjoy the fantastic sunsets you can see from balcony, it really is a lovely place to stay as many of our guest's have commented on.

Other services available:- Cot hire, welcome pack, transfer to and from Airport at reasonable prices through local minibus hire. Please enquire when booking as we can book that for you enabling you to relax. If this is your first time of booking over the web then please relax, we will do everything to make your enquiry a pleasant experience, with help and warmth with no obligation whatsoever. Outside: Outside there is a balcony with sun loungers and a table with 6 chairs. The balcony enjoys sun from mid morning till sunset with views of the cliffs and La Gomera. There is a large heated full sized shared pool and small baby pool with pool bar. The complex also has Bowls and two Tennis courts. Private underground parking. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bath towels and linen are included in the price and are changed on a weekly basis.The apartment is cleaned every 2 / 3 days.

Lovely relaxing stay in Puerto de Santiago

Good location on the flat across the road from Lidl (not visible from the apartment) which people walk to from Los Gigantes so great to have so close. Open every day including national holidays so fresh bread etc readily available. A few bars, restaurants and shops nearby. Sitting on the balcony in the evening we could hear the singers from Sports Club opposite but they weren't too bad and finished by 11pm. Great apartment which was mopped and cleaned from top to toe every 2 days during our stay by the staff. Reception staff also very helpful. The bedrooms are a good size as are the other rooms and the balcony. Kitchen stocked with everything you need. Pool was heated and pleasantly warm (although so was the sea during our stay). Always sun loungers available whatever the time of day and a good mixture of nationalities in the complex. A short walk downhill gets you quickly to Los Gigantes and the beach and harbour. The rest of Puerto de Santiago is a short walk downhill in the other direction. Spectacular sun sets to be seen from Crab Island. The photos on the website are very accurate.

A 5 star apartment on a 5 star complex. Perfect holiday location with all the comforts of home.

We stayed at Tony's apartment for 2 weeks during August. Before we confirmed the booking, Tony called us to give us some information about the apartment, complex and area. His information was invaluable and accurate. Proximity to the supermarkets, harbour and beach was indeed minutes away with no need for a car or public transport to access these features. The complex was immaculate with all areas being cleaned regularly including the apartment. Staff on reception were really helpful too - booking transfers and helping with anything that was required..

The complex was perfect. It was listed as 5 star and that is how it presented. I had a massage and reflexology on the complex which was fantastic and reasonably priced, and the poolside bar served all sorts of lovely food and beer, including pizza and the most amazing pancakes.

Tony's apartment was awesome. Spacious, well appointed and peaceful. Some evenings we ate in and just enjoyed the view from the balcony. On other occasions we ventured out to different restaurants, The Tipsy Terrace being one of our favourites.

I would highly recommend Tony's apartment to anyone seeking a peaceful holiday in luxury surroundings.

El Marques Palace Apartment No.318

We stayed at this apartment for 15 days. The location is a key attraction with 2 supermarkets within easy walking distance ,on the flat,the marina shops etc. downhill in Gigantes in one direction and Puerto Santiago downhill in the other direction.The apartment is spacious with sea views,air conditioned plus very quiet overhead fans in the two bedrooms.English TV (BBC1~2 and ITV)are available plus an excellent wifi connection.There is also a free safe for small items.

The large patio has 2 sun beds plus the usual table and chairs with cushions and the area can be covered by 2 wind out blinds.Very necessary with the sun on the patio nearly all day.The position of El Marques Palace is in a built up area and at times there this some traffic noise, during the day,but not at an unacceptable level.

The pool (heated ) is a great attraction with an outside pool bar and plenty of sunbeds and busy at times.

Overall we had a very enjoyable stay helped by the owner who provided tips on the area,information on transfers to and from the airport and places to visit. The owner was always easy to contact and replied to emails and phone calls promptly. Nothing was too much trouble and checked that everything was OK during our stay.

We will certainly stay again at this apartment in the near future.

Family break

The apartment is lovely,very welcoming and homely. It includes everything you need if you want to do a full self catering holiday. It is well looked after, as is the whole complex. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful. The apartment has a regular cleaning service and the pool area is very well maintained. The complex is also gated, which makes it very safe for younger children. There is a pool bar , which serves a nice selection of food /snacks, at very reasonable prices.All food is made fresh to order and the service is great . The local area has everything you need, a great selection of restaurants, takeaways , bars and beach within walking distance. All in all a great find and we will definitely return!

Excellent Stay

The complex was immaculate and well equipped in the apartments and the same in the public areas, the complex staff were very helpful with everything, position of complex was great as it was a 5 minute walk to the main area. Tony Ford who we booked it through was fantastic from the start to the finish of the booking even giving us a call a few days before with info on the area. A true genuine gentleman. I would recommend Tony and his apartment to everyone 100%. We will definitely return again.

Transport to/from airport can be booked at reasonable prices with local minibus service, details available when booking.You can fly into Tenerife South (TFS) from...........Belfast, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Bristol, Cardiff, Doncaster, Dublin, Edinburgh, East Midlands, Exeter, Gatwick, Glasgow, Heathrow, Humberside, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool, Luton, Manchester, Newcastle, Norwich, Sheffield.

Distances:

All local amenities are within 10 minutes walking distance of the apartment. Local shops and restaurants and supermarket are within 3 minutes walk.

Further Details:

The villages of Los Gigantes and Puerto Santiago have a multitude of fine restaurants, many offering fresh seafood and meat dishes. There are a number of supermarkets and banks. At the marina there is a English Scuba diving school with trips of feeding stingrays (BSAC & PADI) and sailing school, as well as boat trips to see the famous dolphins and sea life.
