Apartment in Los Gigantes, Tenerife, Canary Islands - Central Location with Access to all Amenities

Wonderful positioned apartment 2nd from end of complex, giving you a great view from our spacious balcony. Fully air conditioned apartment with ceiling fans for extra comfort in a 5 star complex situated close to the centre of Los Gigantes and Puerto Santiago. The apartment is situated with wonderful views and has the sun on balcony from mid morning till sunset. The apartment has full size heated pool,a baby pool and is within walking distance of a variety of amenities, restaurants and shops.

The wonderful thing about where the apartment is situated is that if you go out the back gate, down the hill to Los Gigantes

it has a real lovely relaxed feel about it with good resturants, if you go out the front gate to Puerto Santiago / Playa de la Arena it does have the feel of authentic canarian life mixed with tourists spots so you do have in our opinion the best of both worlds. Private underground parking.

El Marques Palace Apartment No.318

We stayed at this apartment for 15 days. The location is a key attraction with 2 supermarkets within easy walking distance ,on the flat,the marina shops etc. downhill in Gigantes in one direction and Puerto Santiago downhill in the other direction.The apartment is spacious with sea views,air conditioned plus very quiet overhead fans in the two bedrooms.English TV (BBC1~2 and ITV)are available plus an excellent wifi connection.There is also a free safe for small items.

The large patio has 2 sun beds plus the usual table and chairs with cushions and the area can be covered by 2 wind out blinds.Very necessary with the sun on the patio nearly all day.The position of El Marques Palace is in a built up area and at times there this some traffic noise, during the day,but not at an unacceptable level.

The pool (heated ) is a great attraction with an outside pool bar and plenty of sunbeds and busy at times.

Overall we had a very enjoyable stay helped by the owner who provided tips on the area,information on transfers to and from the airport and places to visit. The owner was always easy to contact and replied to emails and phone calls promptly. Nothing was too much trouble and checked that everything was OK during our stay.

We will certainly stay again at this apartment in the near future.

Family break

The apartment is lovely,very welcoming and homely. It includes everything you need if you want to do a full self catering holiday. It is well looked after, as is the whole complex. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful. The apartment has a regular cleaning service and the pool area is very well maintained. The complex is also gated, which makes it very safe for younger children. There is a pool bar , which serves a nice selection of food /snacks, at very reasonable prices.All food is made fresh to order and the service is great . The local area has everything you need, a great selection of restaurants, takeaways , bars and beach within walking distance. All in all a great find and we will definitely return!

Excellent Stay

The complex was immaculate and well equipped in the apartments and the same in the public areas, the complex staff were very helpful with everything, position of complex was great as it was a 5 minute walk to the main area. Tony Ford who we booked it through was fantastic from the start to the finish of the booking even giving us a call a few days before with info on the area. A true genuine gentleman. I would recommend Tony and his apartment to everyone 100%. We will definitely return again.

We went to Los Gigantes in El Marques Palace in April 2005 on a family holiday and stayed in the apartment we now own, when I returned I contacted the owner and asked if they wanted to sell the apartment to let me know and in July 2006 we became the very proud owner's of it and have enjoyed every minute we have visited the apartment, Geraldine as myself travel there twice a year and I always try to fit a week in on AGM meetings as I just love being there. Los Gigantes does have a feel about it that is friendly, warm and along with the stunning weather and scenery just makes you want to go again and again.

Nearest Airport : Tenerife South at 35 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : Bar Central at 100 Metres Nearest Golf : Albama / Los Christanos at 15 Kilometres Nearest Motorway : TF1 at 10 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : at 100 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Los Gigantes at 1 Kilometres Car: not necessary

Special interest holidays:

Guided walking holidays all over the island. Scuba diving, fishing trips, boat trips, water parks.

Coast/Beach:

The small, volcanic beach is approximately 10 minutes walk from the apartment. The apartment has access to the Los Gigantes Leisure centre with heated pool, tennis courts, crazy golf, play area and an excellent wine bar and cafe.

Travel:

The islands main airport (Tenerife South) is approximately 45 minutes by car. Car hire is not essential. Transport to/from airport can be booked at reasonable prices with local minibus service, details available when booking.You can fly into Tenerife South (TFS) from...........Belfast, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Bristol, Cardiff, Doncaster, Dublin, Edinburgh, East Midlands, Exeter, Gatwick, Glasgow, Heathrow, Humberside, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool, Luton, Manchester, Newcastle, Norwich, Sheffield.

Distances:

All local amenities are within 10 minutes walking distance of the apartment. Local shops and restaurants and supermarket are within 3 minutes walk.

Further Details:

The villages of Los Gigantes and Puerto Santiago have a multitude of fine restaurants, many offering fresh seafood and meat dishes. There are a number of supermarkets and banks. At the marina there is a English Scuba diving school with trips of feeding stingrays (BSAC & PADI) and sailing school, as well as boat trips to see the famous dolphins and sea life.

We enjoy the wonderful views from the sunny spacious balcony ( as seen in pictures ) the apartment is in an area of relaxing friendly locals and our children just go there to unwind and enjoy as do many guest's from our portfolio that return year after year. We also have an underground parking space for you to use. The supermarket cook's fresh bread every day for you to enjoy breakfast on the balcony and if you need any shade, we have roller blinds to wind down to keep you in the shade if you need it, and lastly Geraldine and I just enjoy the fantastic sunsets you can see from balcony, it really is a lovely place to stay as many of our guest's have commented on.
