Step out of your lounge/diner through the large double glass doors onto the covered arched patio with its own outdoor dining furniture, dine al fresco enjoying the views or just relax around the pool on the sun terrace, take a dip into your own, crystal clear and clean private pool.

Home now, sadly at work! big thanks booking our honeymoon in Amistad. Pool, views, bars, restaurants and shops excellent. Kids, Brian & I enjoyed every second of stay. Will book return soon. Sun, sun and more sun that’s what we came for, with a few steps from the bedroom to our private pool to sunbathe round, cooling in your pristine pool when we couldn’t take anymore was great. Recommend that nearest restaurant just up the road. Thanks for everything. Getting back to reality at work was very hard! Joe & Felicity, Clifton, Yorks (Aug 09).

Orba villa
Very nice place just as we wanted it nice and quite.
Restaurants require a car (even the nearest)
Down side was the pay back of the deposit I did confirm with the owner that I would get back the full amount with no currency discrepancies, this did not happen and I had to chase for the deposit return.
However as I said very nice and would go back armed with hindsight knowledge

Coast/Beach:
The closest beaches are at Denia, 20 mins drive. The beaches of Moraira, Javea, Vergel, Oliva and Gandia are about 30 mins drive. Benidorm 40 mins drive.
Travel:
Alicante and Valencia Airports each an easy hour's drive on the AP7 motorway, entry/exit 62 Ondara (for Orba). Turn inland, towards mountains, straight on up through the Orange Groves for 5 miles, Orba is the 2nd pretty whitewashed stone village at the foot of the mountains.
Car hire highly recommended.
Portsmouth/Bilbao car ferry recommended. Bilbao 8 hours' easy motorway drive. Plymouth/Santander car ferry recommended. Santander 9 hours' motorway drive.
Distances:
Our village of Orba is 5 mins drive. Denia 20 mins. Javea 30 mins. Coll de Rates, the road access to the top of our local mountains 20 mins drive. Benimaurell a mountain top village, 25 mins, has excellent watering holes and also has spectacular views over the mountains and whitewashed villages to the Mediterranean. From your front door climb Orba's local mountain to the castle ruin on the top as an easy morning's ramble.
Further Details:
Our village of Orba has three Banks with 24 hour cash machines, one large and two smaller supermarkets. Julie's an English supermarket sells just about anything that British desire when abroad. Ten various style Restaurants, even 'Cornish Pride' the Falmouth registered specialist pasty shop, as well as 'Central Perk' an English run 'diner' and coffee house, with its different and very new, Anglo/American themed menu. Orba has it's own Fish & Chip Shop opened in April. “The Lee's” an excellent Bar/Pub with a large outside courtyard, offering a wide selection of drinks and serving English Breakfasts and Bar Snacks cooked to order. There is an excellent 24 hour Medical Centre. Many Bars and various interest shops, including a working pottery, selling direct, using Time Honoured Techniques, a legacy from earlier times when Orba was a Moorish Pottery making village. Nearest good Restaurant and Bar 200mts from house. Plenty of nightlife to be found in Denia, Javea and Benidorm.

A non-refundable deposit of £125pw is required to secure your booking with the balance to be paid eight weeks prior to your arrival. £150 key, damages/loss deposit is required with your balance, returnable at the end of your stay. Complimentary grocery pack on your arrival.
Changeover Day:
Our bookings are from and to Saturdays.
Villa ready from 1.00pm on the day of your arrival.We ask our guests to please depart by no later than 10.00am on the day of their departure in order that we have time to prepare the villa for our next guests.
Manager's Cancellation Policy
- 50% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date.
- 100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.
- Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
