About the Owner

We have lived in Lanzarote for over 20 years and are a family run company. We are on hand 24 hours per day in case you need us but we are far enough away to leave you to enjoy the freedom of having a villa holidays. Why choose Nazaret? It is a typical Canarian village with a mixture of sophisticated and typical restaurants, is very near to anywhere and only 20 minutes from the airport. We have had clients who have lost their passport or become ill but have always been there to deal with things and get them home again. We are on call 24 hours per day and can arrange most things for our clients.

Beautiful villa

  • 4 of 5

The property is well equipped and very clean, Peter was really helpful, he collected us from and dropped us back to the airport, and was available if we needed help, great customer service! Nazaret is charming and everywhere was easy to get to as the village is very central. We really enjoyed our stay and would reccomend it to others.

Fabulous Holiday

  • 5 of 5

Stayed here for a lovely relaxing week in September, villa has everything you need, clean and very comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, the garden/pool area just perfect for sunbathing. Peter was on hand when we needed him, but not intrusive, he collected us and took us back to the airport which is a real help in a country you've never visited before. Very relaxing week, just what we needed, thank you.

Lovely Villa

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in this Villa for 3 weeks, and it is just as the photo's depict it. The inside of the Villa was very spacious and well equipped, and the outside area was absolutely beautiful, with a lovely large pool which was well maintained, and a fabulous garden with plenty of natural shade from mature palm trees. The Villa was cleaned weekly to a high standard and all bedding and towels replenished. We hired a car for the duration of the holiday through Peter, which he collected us from the airport in, and then took us back to the Villa and showed and explained all the facilities. Peter was brilliant with us for the whole duration of the holiday, and was always on hand if we needed him, but not intrusive in any way. The Wifi in the Villa was exceptionally good, and the local village shop stocked quite a large varied amount of goods. Location is quiet, but very close to all amenities, and a good base for seeing all the wonderful sights Lanzarote has to offer. Overall we had a wonderful holiday in a lovely Villa, and was well supported by Peter for any extra requirements that we needed. Thank you Peter.

Quiet relaxing holiday - just what we wanted!

  • 5 of 5

The Villa had everything that we expected. Set in a lovely garden the villa is not overlooked and has complete privacy. The villa was spacious and clean and well equipped. The pool was a great size and was excellent for a cooling dip.

We were met at the airport by Peter our flight was late and it was a very welcome thing not to have to wait further for a hire car as we hired a car from him and this was waiting for us in the drive of the villa. Peter returned us to the airport and was always available if needed never intrusive but always available if needed.

The Oasis de Nazaret is well located for exploring the island and benefits from being close to the Laqomar which is fantastic restaurant and bar experience in a unique setting. It is also close to the local Nazaret Social Club which offers excellent food at a reasonable price and you are made very welcome by the locals.

I would highly recommend this vials to anybody looking for a quiet but relaxing holiday - My wife and I were there as a couple but there was space enough for six and would be very comfortable for a family of four.

For touring I recommend the six centre cultural ticket which gets you in to all the major sites own the island including the Cuevas de Verde, the Cactus Garden and the Timafanya national park- Happy holiday!

Lovely villa, fantastic service, great holiday!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed over the Easter school holiday, looking for a relaxing family break. Although the weather was variable we very much enjoyed our stay and were impressed with Lanzarote and the villa itself. The island is easy to get around and the location of the villa means that you can get to anywhere on the island very easily. The villa is very clean and well equipped. It was more spacious than we expected and the layout is perfect. The pool and private garden are lovely. We hired a car through Peter and he collected us from the airport which made our arrival stress free. He was very helpful and was around if we needed him but was in no way obtrusive. Would definitely recommend the short stroll to Lagomar - the food was delicious but its also great for a drink- particularly a cocktail -the bar is fantastic!

Overall we had a lovely holiday, in no small part due to the great service offered by Peter. We would definitely recommend and hope to visit again soon.

Location

From the Owner

We bought our first property because we were looking for a holiday home that was not in a commercialised location. We had visited Tenerife and did not like the overdevelopment, Lanzarote is a protected Island that is not over developed has awards for a biospere of outstanding beauty award and offers something for everybody, young and old.

Activity and Interests

Special interest holidays:

The Island is excellent for water sports, most kinds can be found in the vicinity from diving to kite surfing. There is one golf course nearby and a further one being built at the moment. Parts of the Island are used for Olympic training and it is good for keen runners and cyclists. There are many stables located on the Island, offering horse riding for adults and children. The Island is volcanic in origin and has a landscape which is unlike any other. The National Park of Timanfaya preserves the centre of the volcano and is open to visitors who wish to see how the volcano remains smouldering or to enjoy a meal cooked by the heat of the volcano alone. For keen artists there are many scupltures dotted around the Island and a museum set up in memory of Caesar Manrique who was Lanzarote's resident modern artist for many years. As Lanzarote is such a small Island, nowhere is far away so you can enjoy everything the Island has to offer. There are two karting tracks on Lanzarote.

Coast/Beach:

10 mins drive the golf courses and the nearest beach in Costa Teguise. The marina in Puerto Calero is fifteen minutes drive, it has an interesting whale museum and many boat excursions can be booked there including the glass bottom boat. The villa is ten minutes walk from Teguise where the largest Sunday market on the Island is held and which hosts many beautiful old buildings rich in history.

It is excellent for cyclists and water sports enthusiasts.

Travel:

It is 20 mins by car from the airport. A car is recommended so that you can benefit from all that Lanzarote has to offer. Car hire is very reasonable and if necessary we can arrange it for you. If you arrange your car hire through us we will arrange for a car to be at the airport for your arrival, we use a small family run company who are well known to us.

Distances:

5 mins drive to the old Capital Teguise. As the Island is so small it is not far to anywhere, there are also boat services to other Islands if you fancy a day on a different Canary Island.

The water park in Costa Teguise is 10 mins away and is fun for a family day out. There are many organised excursions and plenty for all the family.

Further Details:

There are restaurants in the village one being the old house which is a cave and was once owned by Omar Sharif it doubles as a museum and has the honour of being listed in the Michelin Guide. There is also a local social club, which offers inexpensive cuisine to eat in or take away, the menu is written in English and Spanish and is very child friendly. The manager of the villa is English speaking and is on call seven days a week. He will visit you shortly after your arrival and will then leave you to your own devices unless you should need his services for any particular reason. Should you wish, for a reasonable sum, the manager will pick your luggage up from the airport for you and return it to the airport on the day of your departure. We also offer a shopping service whereby we will make sure that, on arrival, you have all the essentials which you will need for your holiday. We will also provide you with a hot meal if desired so that you need not concern yourself with cooking when you get to the villa at the start of your holiday. Plus Accommodation Insurance! Your holiday guaranteed, if your airline can not fly to or from one of our holidays we will either re-schedule your holiday or extend your stay on the Island for free!*

The main benefit of staying at the property is coming away feeling relaxed having completely escaped the rat race that we all have to live in. For the older person you are not going to be worried by climbing mountains of steps because the villa is laid out like you would expect a bungalow in the UK. Notes:

  • Notes on accommodation: The villa is spacious, it allows you to view the gardens and pool area from the kitchen, dining room, lounge and master bedroom. We find that this is an advantage to parents with children because it does mean that they can play freely but in constant view of adults. The interior floors of the villa are tiled which are pleasant and fresh. It is very refreshing to wake up in the master bedroom and look out of the large patio windows at the stunning views of Lanzarote at its best. The other two bedrooms offer option of twin or double beds. The villa is not overlooked and ideal for those private people who like to discard clothing whilst on holiday. All rooms are large and clutter free with traditionally tiled walls. Furniture is light and modern. The lay out of the villa is as you would expect a bungalow in the UK. It is an ideal villa for elderly people who have difficulty with many steps. There are few steps in the villa as everything is on one level. Outside: The villa has lower gardens and off road parking leading to the villa entrance, pool area and mature gardens offering a plethora or exotic plants. The pool area is enclosed and not overlooked without spoiling your view of the surrounding countryside. The pool is surrounded by artificial grass which prevents you from burning your feet in the sun and is good for toddlers. There are also sun loungers for your comfort. This leads to a tiled patio area with furniture, table, unbrella, BBQ etc leading to patio windows into the lounge and dining room and master bedroom. The gardens have several established palm trees and cactus. The villa is situated on a quiet residential road away from noisy hotels. It is very easy to get to anywhere from Nazaret as it is very centrally located. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Maid service, all linen and towels included. Extra maid service offered for a small extra sum. Other: Dining room with large windows looking out to the pool area and countryside enabling you to see the pool area while you eat to allow the children to play outside but enable you to keep a constant eye on them.
