I live with my beautiful wife Luiza. Having lived in California and travelled extensively I have been lucky to see many beautiful places.

I always dreamed of having a place where you could see both the sea and mountains and enjoy the panoramic vistas, sunsets and be perpetually inspired by nature and the changing seasons.

While I have been fortunate in business I originally trained as an artist and I am continually inspired by the landscape in Spain and there is some magnificent coastline so close that still feels undiscovered and free from over commercialisation.

Casa Xenia will attract not only those who want to 'chill' and soak in the atmosphere but also enjoy a extremely quiet yet intimate location that is truly magnificent and beautiful

Another excellent holiday

This was out third visit to Casa Xenia and this time we brought some of the family with us. They were bowled over by the wonderful views and excellent standard of the villa and all want to return next year. Thank you for a wonderful stay again we will be back.

Location

I had sold a business and originally intended to buy a flat in Denia. However, the agent we used showed me this vacant plot and I immediately fell in love with the views. Cancelled the flat and designed the Villa and had it custom built. Each day still brings new views that I can never tire and I hope you will share that enjoyment when you stay.

Coast/Beach:

The closest beach is a few minutes drive away by car and is a spectacular beach used mainly by the residents of Cumbre Del Sol. Reminiscent of old Spain, it is also a popular location for Scuba diving and cave diving for the adventurous. There are many other beautiful beaches also a short drive away.

Travel:

The villa is more or less equidistant from Alicante and Valencia airports. The drive from Alicante is about an hour and from Valencia allow a little over an hour. A car is essential as there is much to see and do in this area.

Distances:

The villa is about 3kms from the centre of Moraira and 5kms from Javea. Benitachel and Teulada are within 5kms.

Further Details:

A restaurant, bars, supermarket, bank and pharmacy are a 5 minute drive by car.

There is walking and horse riding in the adjoining natural reserve of Granadella Parc. Flamenco can be found in a lovely old traditional restaurant a few minutes away on the road to Moraira and fiestas occur at various times during the year. Great fun for children is to be found at Aqualandia water slides, Mundamar Marine Park and Terra Mitica theme park which are all within easy reach. Wine lovers should visit the beautiful Jalon valley with its extensive vineyards which produce the famous moscatel wine. Finally don't forget the weekly markets which sell almost everything.

Booking Notes:
A non returnable deposit of £200 is required on booking with the balance being due 4 weeks prior to the booking. There is an electricity usage allowance of £25 per week which more than covers normal usage. Any excess will be recovered from the Refundable damage deposit of £200 payable at the time of final payment.

Changeover Day:
Saturday is the changeover day in high season, but this can be flexible and by mutual arrangement at other times.

Prices shown are for the property per week in UK Pounds.
Villa is available for minimum weekly lets. Reductions for long lets.
Prices shown are for two adults and up to four children under the age of 18.
For three or more adults staying the rates are an additional £100 per week.

The Villa is located in a cul de sac so the only traffic is for residents. Rush hour is three cars a day !!!In summer you get cooling breezes to make the sun bearable and pleasant in contrast to the blistering heat in Moraira that at times is insufferable. Besides the truly magnificent views the sunsets in late summer are a delight and you also can enjoy from the top balcony all the fireworks whenever there is a local fiesta. Close to shops, restaurants and bars yet located amongst some truly exclusive properties in a mature development. Naturally I am delighted that we get returning visitors who see Casa Xenia as their summer home from home as well.

  • Notes on accommodation: The pool terrace is completely enclosed, but not fenced off from the villa. There are two upper floor terraces. We ask you not to smoke inside the .Internet is availbale on the following optional basis 1 week £25 2 weeks £40 4 weeks £50. There is an external clothes dryer in the west garden Outside: A covered porch with dining table for 6 persons and views of the sea and the Penon de Ifach at Calpe. An 8m x 4m kidney shaped pool with Roman steps, underwater lighting and a large and completely enclosed pool terrace with sunbed recliners and tables. A very efficient gas fired BBQ with rotisserie. Utility Room: Large condenser tumble drier. Beach mats, portable umbrella. Ironing board, steam iron. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen included, pool and villa cleaned between lets through a local property management company. Beach towels can be rented at £2.50 per week.
