On first floor, accessed by stairs and lift, it has magnificent views of the valley and coastline. Enormous 35 sqm of secluded balcony with sundrenched and shaded areas. Parking space. Just 5 mins walk from Tala Village square with its supermarkets and restaurants. The seafront and harbour of Paphos or the beaches of Coral Bay are just 10 minutes drive away. 30 minutes drive from Paphos airport. The Island of Cyprus has something for everyone: sunsoaked beaches; crystal clear waters and an average of 340 days sunshine a year. 3 Golf Courses within 20 minutes drive. It is the birthplace of Aphrodite and has many interesting historical sites. There are wonderful places you can walk or look for birds and flowers - the Nature Reserve on the Akamas Peninsular, or the Troodos Mountains, where you can ski from January to March.

Hi, We are Clare and Rosie.

We have been great friends for over 20 years and approx 10 years ago decided to buy our first overseas apartment together. Clare lives in Hampshire and Rosie lives with her husband and son in the New Forest.

As we both work in a customer facing environment, we know how important it is to give excellent customer service and we like to make sure that we give excellent service to our guests too.

We try to think of everything you might ask and include answers in our website or emails that we send. We also try to include anything you might need in our apartments so that we make your holiday as wonderful as we can.

Why Clare Rigler and Rosie Fenwick chose Tala

We bought this apartment before it was built and we remember climbing over building blocks and teetering on the scaffolding to try to work out which of the apartments would have the best view - and we got it right! The views of the valley and the coast line below are just stunning by day and magical by night.

Our balcony is enormous with a shaded area for our patio table and chairs and a sunny section for sun worshippers. You can watch your kids play in the pool from here or join them poolside.

The village of Tala itself is small and unspoilt, still retaining the Cypriot way of life, yet has all the shops and restaurants you could need.

What makes this apartment unique

It is in a brilliant position at the top of Tala and the square is just 5 minutes walk away.

Again, we have to say our view - it is spectacular! If you read our testimonials on our website, you'll see that nearly everyone mentions it!

In addition to all that we have told you in our advert, we have a wonderful lady called Anne Marie who looks after the apartment for us and will always be at the end of the phone should you need her.

Holiday of a life time

The apartment was everything as describe. You was lacking for nothing. The balcony made it for us, you could lay on the sunbeds until sun set if you wanted or lay by the beautiful pool on the well supplied sunbeds.

The apartment was 2 miles north of Paphos in a quite

small village called Tala which had numerous restaurants, grocery store and even a charity shop.

You do need a car unless you want to rely on buses

but you will need one to get round this beautiful island

anyway. The owners were very helpful with travel instructions and numerous other things to make your holiday perfect. I would recommend this apartment without hesitation to anyone and I would refund your money myself if you wasn't as happy with it as ourselves.

What a lovely apartment, could not fault it at all.

We stayed in this apartment for 2 weeks in August with the family & had a great holiday.

As soon as we opened the front door you see this lovely spacious apartment & what a balcony so much room. Every thing is so clean & well equipped & is of a high standard & there is plenty of room for parking if you hire a car.

Had some nice meal in Tala square which has just been renovated we found the local people to be very friendly as well as the people staying at the complex, we will definitely be returning to this apartment in the future.

Wonderful apartment

Our second stay in this wonderful apartment with magnificent pool which most of the time we had to ourselves. Now has wifi which was great to be able to keep in touch with family back home. The property is clean and well kept. Thanks to Rosie and Claire for another enjoyable and relaxing holiday and would definitely recommend this apartment to others.

Peaceful haven

Enjoyed three weeks at this very well appointed apartment, well equipped and comfortable accomadation.

Very large balcony with fantastic views, ideal for sunbathing if you do not want to enjoy the very large pool on the complex. A car is a must if you wish to explore the surrounding countryside or beaches. The choice of restaurants locally or in vicinity is very good.

One word of warning if you hire a car, don't park near the pool toilets or you will suffer the wrath of the guy who lives in the square box house opposite the toilets. He considers that part of the complex his little fiefdom? We parked the car for two hours and he demanded to know who we were and to get the car moved pronto!

Great location, good description

Comfortable accommodation, well equipped and great location. Walking distance to Tala for bars / restaurants. Shame the beautiful sea views are partially obscured by tree's and lose the sun late pm. Thanks to the owners for everything.

Lovely Apartment with a sun trap

The apartment was exactly as described. Very clean, well equipped and very welcoming. But without doubt the main attraction is its' balcony. Get's full sun from just before midday to sunset, which is another special pleasure which can been seen in all its' glory whilst enjoying a little tipple. There are a couple of trees which could do with being cropped a little, but they still didn't stop us enjoying the views over Paphos and out to sea. The owners, Rosie and Clare, provided quick responses to our initial enquiries and have provided plenty of literature in the apartment about places of interest in and around Tala, and indeed, Cyprus itself.

There are 4 or 5 good restaurants in the immediate area with, in our opinion, the best value being Casa Luna. Another favourite of ours was Mario's snack bar. Very friendly, good service and with its' inexpensive prices, made a very pleasant way to end the day.

A car is not essential but is advisable to enable you to explore the surrounding area and quaint little villages that are dotted around the hills.

Polis and Latchi beaches are well worth a visit, along with the Akinas Peninsula, less than an hours drive away.

Would definitely recommend and hope to return soon.

Owner's Response: We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay and loved the local Tala hospitality with its lovely restaurants and tavernas. Thanks for letting us know about the trees as this is the first year we have not been able to stay in the apartment ourselves so this was useful feedback for us. As you say the trees do not affect the amount of sunshine the balcony gets as they are not close to the apartment. Even so, we have asked the management company to get their gardeners to prune them back so that we can have an uninterrupted panoramic view again for future guests. We do have guests that stay without a car as there is a bus service to Paphos but we always hire one ourselves so we can visit all the lovely beaches. Thanks again for choosing us and we look forward to welcoming you back another year.

Coast/Beach:

Coral Bay and other numerous secluded sandy bays are within 15 minutes drive. Further afield are the unspoilt beaches of Cyprus's Nature Reserve on the Akamas Peninsular. The crystal clear waters are excellent for Snorkeling and Scuba Diving. Windsurfing is particularly good around Limassol and Lady's Mile Beach.

Travel:

Paphos Airport is just 30 minutes drive from Tala Hills. Taxi costs approximately 30 euros. Car hire is recommended if you want to explore more of Cyprus. You can hire these at the airport but to be sure of a car it is best to book prior to your trip. Alternatively, Lanaka Airport is approx 2.25 hours away.

Distances:

The delightful harbour and medieval fort of Paphos are approx 15 minutes drive from the apartment. The picturesque trails of Troodos Mountains or the rugged beauty of the Akamas Peninsula are within 60 mins drive.

Limassol, the largest seaside resort is an hours drive. Nicosia, the capital lies at the centre of Cyprus, and Larnaka are both approx 2 hours drive away. Trips can be arranged by the Tourist Information Office to Egypt, Rhodes and Symi.

Further Details:

The village square with its supermarkets and restaurants is just 500m, 5 minutes walk away. Guests are able to use the exclusive Kamares Clubhouse and Sports centre which is 5 minutes drive away. There are many interesting historical sites on the Island -the Tombs of the Kings, the House of Dionysus and Aphrodites Rock are in Paphos itself.
