House in Calete de Fuste, Fuerteventura - Peaceful Location With Communal Pools 15 Metres Away

The property is in the exclusive development of Montana Blanca with spectacular views of the mountains, the harbour, the coastline, 18 hole Championship Fuerteventura Golf Course (which hosted the 2004 Spanish Open), the new 18 hole Salinas Golf Club, golden sandy beaches (2km away) and Calete De Fuste. The development is set in an idyllic location offering access to a range of amenities in Calete De Fuste. The spacious house which is furnished to a very high standard incorporates two bathrooms, a solarium, a patio and a garden area. The house has also been set up with UK and Irish TV Channels and a wireless access point which can connect multiple devices to the Internet. The communal swimming pool and children’s pool are located just 25 metres from the house. A modern commercial centre, the Atlantico Centre, (2km away) includes boutiques, restaurants, supermarket, a multiplex cinema, shops and a bowling alley. Calete De Fuste is an ideal holiday destination / location for golfers, families, water sports enthusiasts, couples, and sun-worshippers.

We really enjoyed our week earlier this month. I played 4 rounds of golf (more than intended !) - 2 on Fuerteventura Golf and 2 on Salinas - both courses are good with excellent practice facilities.

The house has everything we needed - fully equipped,

TV's & DVD players upstairs and downstairs. The balcony was great for having breakfast in the sun or for sun bathing. The roof area would really suit those who like to fry themselves in the sun ! Fantastic views of the sea and golf courses.

There is some development under way in the area ,

but this is to the rear of the house and is only visible when on the roof. You may hear the sound of a hammer on the odd occasion but not enough to disturb you !

The property is in a very secure area and the presence of

Local Police patrols is more than comforting !

The resort itself is lovely with lots of bars, restaurants and shops to choose from.

The lack of noisy night clubs and yobs is also most welcome !

A relaxing holiday.

My wife and I would like to thank you for letting us stay in your property at the beginning of July. We had a very good time there , finding it very peaceful and relaxing. The villa was clean and well equipt . The Quiet pool was excellent and was only a very short walk away. A hire car would be an advantage to see the island. All in all a great relaxing break.

Nice apartment

We wanted a relatively inexpensive apartment for one week in October and this met our requirements. The apartment has everything that you will need for a relaxing holiday. There are great sea views from the balconies and the apartment is well equipped.

Car hire is recommended as it is a little way out of the resort of Caleta de Fuste. The owner was very accommodating and responded to all our emails and questions. Thank you

This was our sixth or seventh trip to Fuerteventura and we have stayed at this property each time. Need we say more? We love it here, it is simple, spotless, well equiped and very comfortable. It is also very quiet and peaceful.

Kielan has a very conciencious lady who looks after the cleaning (Pam) and she can also supply, at very reasonable cost, delicious meals. We recommend them.

We have no hesitation in recommending this property as a base. A car is a must if you want to see the island or try the beaches on the southeast coast or the bays to the north east of El Cotillo, our personal favourites.

Honestly cannot wait until we can get back to Montana Blanca.

The closest beach is at the Atlantico Shopping Centre and is a leisurely 20 min downhill walk or 5 minute drive. The beach is very safe and suitable for swimmers of all abilities. A taxi-ride back to the property costs approximately 3 euro.


Nearest international airport: Fuerteventura Airport at 10 kilometres. Nearest beach: 2km. Nearest ferry port: Puerto del Rosario at 15km. Car: Recommended.

- the dunes at Corralejo

- the caves at Ajuy

- island of Los Lobos

- day trips to Lanzarote

- camel rides on the beautiful beaches

Our property manager Pam lives close to the house, and is available to provide assistance at short notice. She will meet you on arrival at the house to give you the keys and show you around the property.

There is a wall safe in the master bedroom. The property is suitable for children. Outside: The property has a garden area to the front with table and chairs and parking for two cars. On the second floor there is a large terrace area with a barbecue, patio table and seating for 6. The roof level is a solarium with sunloungers. There is a large pool and lounging area 15 metres from the house with both adult and kid's pools. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linens are left out for weekly changes. Beach towels are also available for your use. If you require the changes to be done for you or any extra cleaning then this can be arranged locally and paid for locally with our property manager, Pam. Other: The top floor solarium has 4 sun loungers and superb views of the mountains and coastline.
