Beautifully appointed apartment in Novarmar, “down the hill from Gran Alacant”, nestling between Arenales and Santa Pola in the El Clot valley nature reserve/bird sanctuary. 10 minutes walk to the golden sands of the blue flag Carabassi beach. The Apartment is ideally suited for the family holiday, with a large private roof terrace (solarium) for the sun seekers and a shaded lower balcony overlooking the pool. The apartment is equipped with all modern conveniences with Internet access and UK HD TV (BBC, ITV + 300 others), DVD player, HiFi System with Ipod docking. Many restaurants, bars etc within 4 minute walk and many large supermarkets (Lidel, Aldi, Mercadonna etc) within the area. An ideal location to explore Santa Pola with its’ traditional fishing port and garden market life style, salt flats and flamingos, Alicante with its bustling yacht marine and seafood restaurants a sort drive away. fantastic

Would definitely go back to gran alacant. And most definitely try and get same apartment as very homely. Everything you needed it had. I wouldn't change anything about it. Location was spot on very friendly and welcoming place. The surrounding areas of the complex are well maintained also. I will be recommending to family and friends. I will definitely try and book again in the future.

The apartment was excellent

Ideal location for a short break

First the owner arranged a pick up from the airport which was really helpful. Location was good for long walks. Plenty of choices of places to eat. Accommodation was very good and clean. Beds could have been a bit more comfortable.

Owner's Response: Pleased you enjoyed your holiday and the apartment. We looked into the problem of the bed as we've never had any complaints before and found that the mattress topper plus duvet had been removed and stored away! why I don't know. Beds are very difficult to get right for guests as some like them soft and some firm. We appreciate positive comments and as the mattresses are now over 8 years old have changed them for sprung/ memory foam ones with a topper - lovely!

A family of 4 - late booking

We have just returned from almost a weeks stay at this fabulous apartment in Gran Alacant. It has everything you need and more. We are a small family with 2 young children (aged 5 & 7) and have had a great time. The facilities are brilliant and the apartment is located on a very secure gated complex. Access to the shops is minutes away and the beach is a 10 minute walk away. The complex is located 15-20 minute drive from Alicante airport. The owner provided us with a reliable English speaking taxi driver who collected us and returned us to the airport for a reasonable price. The facilities are that good we will definitely be returning as soon as we can.

Ideal location.

We have just enjoyed a lovely stay at this apartment, there was everything you needed and Steve was extremely helpful.

The weather was brilliant and we enjoyed a lot of time on the beach and swimming in the sea which was just a short walk away. Visited a couple of the local restaurants which didn't disappoint.

It is several years since we visited the area and it was lovely to come back .

Special interest holidays:

For the fishermen, the area is well served with excellent carp, barbel and black bass fishing on the many local reservoirs, coast and deep sea fishing is also available.

Coast/Beach:

The golden sands of Carabassi beach is 10 minutes walk from the apartment. The beach is a very long sandy beach stretching from Aranales de Sol nearly to Santa Pola and is bordered with rolling dunes.

Travel:

Alicante Airport is 10 minutes drive, Murcia 45 min and Benidorm 45 min. The area is served by a good local bus service, taxi and a local 'road train'.

Distances:

The sea side town of Arenales de Sol is 10 minutes drive which has promenade, resturants etc. The fishing town of Santa Pola is 15 minutes drive and has many tourist amenities, castle, resturants and bars. Close by is a Sarfari Park. Alicante with its many large shops is 20 minutes drive. The ancient town of Elche with its Palm forest is 20 minutes. Benidorm 45 minutes which boasts a large Theme Park, Nature Park, Large water Park and Dolphinarium. There are many attractions within the area.

Further Details:

Novamar/ Gran Alicant is well served with local, Chinese and Indian resturants, bars and supermarkets, wine merchants and banks. Santa Pola has a popular fish market and local market for fresh produce.
