Beautifully appointed apartment in Novarmar, “down the hill from Gran Alacant”, nestling between Arenales and Santa Pola in the El Clot valley nature reserve/bird sanctuary. 10 minutes walk to the golden sands of the blue flag Carabassi beach. The Apartment is ideally suited for the family holiday, with a large private roof terrace (solarium) for the sun seekers and a shaded lower balcony overlooking the pool. The apartment is equipped with all modern conveniences with Internet access and UK HD TV (BBC, ITV + 300 others), DVD player, HiFi System with Ipod docking. Many restaurants, bars etc within 4 minute walk and many large supermarkets (Lidel, Aldi, Mercadonna etc) within the area. An ideal location to explore Santa Pola with its’ traditional fishing port and garden market life style, salt flats and flamingos, Alicante with its bustling yacht marine and seafood restaurants a sort drive away. Outside: Communal pool with Jacuzzi, children's play area with swings and slides. Tennis/netball/badminton court. Some sports equipment is supplied. Undergound parking space is available if required. Utility Room: Utility room with washing machine, ironing board, clothes horse sink and cleaning equipment. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen, bath and hand towels are provided, beach towels are not supplied. €50 (euros) end of stay cleaning/laundry charge is payable locally, additional cleaning can be arranged on request. Other: The very large private sun terrace is ideal for those balmy Spanish evenings or for the sun tan enthusiasts, furnished with gazebo, sun loungers, BBQ, table, chairs and shower. The Lower balcony is for cooling off and has an excellent view of the pool.

Fantastic apartment, spotlessly clean, roof terrace big big thumbs up, loved it.

Really quiet area, so peaceful, beautiful pool. We spent a lot of time at nearby bars and restaurants which were a very short walk away. We used ' train' to go into centre for food shop at Mercodona. Got bus to Alicante for the day, everything was so easy as we just wanted to relax and chill. Spoke to owner Steve few times, he is such a lovely, lovely understanding man and I would recommend this apartment to my family and friends.

Great holiday apartment

We really enjoyed our holiday at this lovely apartment. It has all the things you need for a relaxing holiday with nothing to worry about. There are all the essentials you need along with terrific views of the surrounding area including the sea, from the roof terrace. Steve could not have been more helpful.

Perfect Holiday

We've stayed at this apartment a couple of times before and is a perfect location for a quick holiday. We've always found the owner to be very helpful with advice on the area, how to get about etc and organising a taxi from the airport, he also supplies excellent information on the apartment, restaurant, buses etc. The apartment is well laid out, clean, tidy, bright and well equipped. The downstairs balcony is a perfect place to sit and watch the world go by. The roof garden is private and catches the sun quite well (although it was March), I should think in the summer it's a real sun trap. The location was ideal for us with restaurants and the beach close by where we had some wonderful walks along it. Los Arenales is a short walk away, Santa Pola and Alicante can be reach easily by bus. All in all an excellent holiday and we will be going again.

Fantastic apartment with everything you need..spotlessly clean and very private for when sunbathing on the lovely solarium. Good location for several different areas for good walks to the beach,into town and close to bars and restaurants.

Quality Apartment

This apartment has all you require for a good holiday, everything supplied is of good quality and in the right quantities. I've rented off this website for many years and this apartment rates very highly.

The pool and the grounds are well maintained with excellent security.

Within a short walk you'll find a variety restaurants and lively/quiet bars which also serve food.

The beach is a 10 minute stroll with beach bars, sunbeds, paddle boarding and various other equipment for hire.

To explore the whole area you may need a car but public transport is reliable and easy to access (short walk to bus stops) from the apartment .

The owner makes the rental process very easy and supplies lots of advice on the area even arranges airport runs if required.

We hope to return next year to see more of the surrounding area and will definitely stay here.

Ideal property with all home comforts

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this property. It had everything to make our stay very comfortable in a secure gated community. We had a car for duration and found this useful to explore the area however there are some bars and restaurants within walking distance as well as local transport options close by. Carabassi beach is only a five minute walk and is a great location to relax. Property was ideal and had everything we wished for. Also all instructions and directions provided previously Be Steve were excellent. Only negative was outwith their control and was noise coming from nearby building works which was noisy during day hours. When completed all will be perfect!!

Owner's Response: Just visited, shame about the noise, looks like you were unlucky as the piling work seems to have been completed, looks like they are building a new road high up on the hill behind the apartment complex about half a mile away .... new dwellings on the hill I think.

For the fishermen, the area is well served with excellent carp, barbel and black bass fishing on the many local reservoirs, coast and deep sea fishing is also available.

Coast/Beach:

The golden sands of Carabassi beach is 10 minutes walk from the apartment. The beach is a very long sandy beach stretching from Aranales de Sol nearly to Santa Pola and is bordered with rolling dunes.

Travel:

Alicante Airport is 10 minutes drive, Murcia 45 min and Benidorm 45 min. The area is served by a good local bus service, taxi and a local 'road train'.

Distances:

The sea side town of Arenales de Sol is 10 minutes drive which has promenade, resturants etc. The fishing town of Santa Pola is 15 minutes drive and has many tourist amenities, castle, resturants and bars. Close by is a Sarfari Park. Alicante with its many large shops is 20 minutes drive. The ancient town of Elche with its Palm forest is 20 minutes. Benidorm 45 minutes which boasts a large Theme Park, Nature Park, Large water Park and Dolphinarium. There are many attractions within the area.

Further Details:

Novamar/ Gran Alicant is well served with local, Chinese and Indian resturants, bars and supermarkets, wine merchants and banks. Santa Pola has a popular fish market and local market for fresh produce.
