Spanish Apartment walking distance from the beach. next to natural salt lakes with flamingos

Beachside apartment is located within 30 seconds walk to the beach, it has free WiFi. It is a typical Spanish apartment, set in a small cluster of privately owned apartments. It is positioned in El Mojon, which is part of the Mar Menor, with its beautiful natural coastline. It has a shared swimming and paddling pool. There are local resturants and a shop. Bike hiring is simple to do, (call for info) you can cycle along the mar menor on the flat long sandy beaches no roads. San Pedro del Pinatar is the main town with it local Monday market (not to be missed).

Coast/Beach:

Beachside apartment is located on the El Mojan beach. It is simply a few seconds walk to the beach. The beach is clean and has golden sands for several miles. The sea is warm and is very good for bathing and water sports. There are also sand dunes along the coastline with a naturist area

Travel:

The local airport Murcia (San Javer)is 15 minutes drive, and Alicante is 45 minutes drive. It is not nessary to have car hire because there are local shops and restaurants, and there is a local bus service. But if you wish to see more of the area and attractions then I would suggest a car. Bikes can be hired out locally and you can ride these along a wooden jetty along the beachside.

Distances:

El Mojan has two towns on either side both 1 mile in distance away. One being San Pedro Del Pinatar and the other Pilar Horadada. There you can shop in larger supermarkets and spend time at the local market.

Further Details:

From beachside apartment you can walk 15 minutes along the beach which will take you into San Pedro Del Pinatar, there you will find the salt lakes that attract flamingos all year round they feed from the minerals in the lakes. This whole area is an area of outstanding natural beauty.

At San Pedro local spanish people use the black mud from the sea, which they spread over their body, this helps with rheumatism and leaves your skin feeling soft. This is a free activity. Along the coast you will find water sports, jet skiing, diving and peddle boats.

To reserve your booking please send £100 per week deposit. This will be refunded on departure. The final payment is due 6 weeks before departure. We have long term lets available on this property, please call for a quote.
For cancellations up to 6 weeks before departure 50% loss of deposit.
For cancellations after 6 weeks before departure full cost of holiday will be loss.

Changeover Day:
In high season change over day is Saturdays, this is not always necessary out of season. Departure is normally 10.00 am. Arrival normally 4.00pm. This can be flexable sometimes.

You pay a £100 depsoit per week at time of booking.
6 weeks before departure full payment is required.
After departure and the property has be checked you depsoit is returned by post if desired.

  • Notes on accommodation: Beachside apartment is ideal for the family because the pool is so near and the children can be seen from the apartment. The beach is only a minutes walk away. Beaches are clean and go on for several miles so no over crowding. It is a perfect location for a peaceful holiday even if your do not have children. Free WiFi available at the apartment. Outside: Garden furniture provided outside on the patio, and sun loungers. The pool is shared with a few other residents. Bike hire can be arranged, Taxi's from the airports can be arranged and local outings by taxi service. Utility Room: Washing machine in utility room. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed Linen and towels are provided, and the apartment is cleaned on your departure. (payable locally). Beach towels are provided. Other: Starter packs can be organised and bike hire delivered to your door and collected as well. Extra cleaning or tidy can also be arranged.
