'We have had an excellent week. Visits to Cannes, Monaco, St Tropez, St Paul (particularly nice) and Cap Ferrat. Accommodation very good with wonderful view' - Haigh Family, Harrogate, West Yorkshire, UK.

'Great accommodation with fantastic views!' Watson Family, UK.

"Fabulous accommodation with most spectacular views from sea to snow-capped mountains. Biot and Monaco a must to visit, as is Antibes (food market well worth attending). Vaugrenier Park is well worth strolling through. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable stay and a return visit very much on the cards !!" Pam and Mike Crace, Herts. UK.

" Had a great time here. The villa is great and with an excellent view. Excellent market and shops in Biot village. The market in Ventimiglia (Italy) is also well worth a visit. If you have time, take a day trip to Monaco and try the Cafe de Paris next to the Casino !" The Hagues, Belgium.

Lovely Villa with views of the Mediterranean

  • 5 of 5

Villa Azure was everything we expected. Close to all amenities and the historic town of Biot. Very clean and well maintained. All bedrooms face the sea. It is very well equipped with a lovely pool set in a secure domain. Easy access to the whole of the French Riviera by train and car.

We would definitely go back.

This picturesque villa is ideally located on the French south coast between some fabulous destinations like Monte Carlo, Cannes and Cap d'Antibes to name a few. The glorious scenic view from all angles within the villa is simply spectacular.

The perfect (babymoon) break away

  • 5 of 5

Stayed at this villa for one week and had the perfect break away before the arrival of our first child. Weather was superb which was lovely as every morning when you opened the lounge or bedroom shutters you were greeted with the most amazing views and the villa was flooded with sunlight.

Beautiful garden and fruit trees, picking fresh lemons was a nice touch. Pool is just outside 3 large double patio doors so brilliant for family with children and as we are expecting in July I would be looking at returning with baby, also having a bedroom and bathroom downstairs would be ideal for us.

Booking went really smoothly and Andrea was always there if I had any questions leading up to our break which was really reassuring as it was a late booking. Villa and garden are obviously well cared for and looked after and fitted the description on website.

The Domain villa is on is kept immaculate and has a lovely safe feel about it. It's also very central so perfect for popping out for lunch or dinner. We mainly ate and walked along the marina (5mins away) and Biot village (10 mins away) by car.

I would recommend taking some form of small speaker system to play music outside (there are outdoor plugs) as depending on wind direction you can sometimes hear the road.

Would definitely recommend and will be looking at returning.

Fabulous villa in a wonderful central location

  • 5 of 5

We booked this villa as wanted somewhere private but also easily accessible to other areas and we wasn't disappointed. The villa is set within a private and secure domain which is opposite a lovely nature park that once through has a supermarket and train station which accesses the whole of the Riviera.. Although only 15mins from Nice airport I would recommend hiring a car as taxis expensive and not easy to come by.

Villa was very clean, well equipped and extremely secure, garden/pool area superb as totally private with a fantastic pameramic view of the sea which was a play ground for some amazing yachts. Plenty of places near by with Biot 10mins away and access to all areas by the frequent trains that run just at the bottom of the hill. Would highly recommend lunch in Biot and a trip to Saint-Paul-de-Vence (by car) and Villefranche (lovely train journey on route to Monaco) which has a lovely beach. Would recommend this villa and location as central to many areas and the villa is obviously well cared for and the garden/pool area maintained to a very high standard.

Monaco Grand Prix

  • 5 of 5

I booked this trip for my husband as wanted to experience the Monaco Grand Prix. We looked at many options but decided to push the boat out and stay in a villa which was the best desicion we could have made. Along with another 2 couples we stayed at this villa and all commented on its ideal location as only few minutes away from the train station which took us along the whole Riveara, fantastic large supermarket and garden centre for everything you need next to the station. Beautiful French village of Biot just behind which was fantastic day & night.

With regards to Monaco Grand Prix, wow! Regardless whether you have tickets for the race or not it's a must. You can access all the action during Friday for free. What an atmosphere, Pop-up bars and DJ are set up outside the pit stop lanes making everything come alive with super yachts lined up which each had a party of its own going on.....it really is another world but one to see!!!! We will definitely return and stay here as worked out so reasonable between 3 couples and enabled us to have it all, relaxing luxurious holiday and all the glitz and glamour of the party life. (Trains to Monaco ran all day with last one leaving about 10.30/11pm) Perfect!

Owner's Response: Dear Guest Delighted to hear you had such a wonderful experience, you're correct in saying Monaco during that week is a must and it's sounds like you had a blast. We are looking forward to you coming back and staying in the villa, with so much going on in the Riveara any month is impressive.

Beautiful Villa, exceptional views, stunning!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I arrived and quickly fell in love with the place. Fantastic, spacious accommodation, well equipped and views to die for! There is a great supermarket very close by which has everything you need and stocks fabulous local produce and wines as well as everyday essentials. The stunning medieval village of Biot is a short drive and is brimming with history and culture, great places to eat and gift shops. We also visited the nearby water park, fun fair and crazy golf complex, which the children loved. The local train station is a five minute drive away and has parking. This train line gives you easy access to places such as Canne, Monaco, Ville France, Antibes and more (all worth a visit). We had an amazing holiday and will definitely return to Villa Azure - thank you for sharing your beautiful home :-)

The nearest Mediterranean beach is a few minutes drive or pleasant 20 minute walk through the Vaugrenier National Park. There is a range of beaches within easy reach all along the coast - from the manicured sands at Cannes to the pretty little cove at La Garoupe on the Cap d'Antibes. Take 'Le Petit Train' on a round-trip from the centre of Antibes to the lively beach at Juan-les-Pins. Nearby Marineland has a large aquapark with water slides plus a seaworld show with orcas and dolphins.

Travel:

Airport Nice - Cote d'Azur International Airport is 10km. We recommend a car to make the most of all the Riviera attractions. 5 minutes to railway stations at Biot or Villeneuve-Loubet. Excellent coastal railway takes you east to Monaco and on to Italy; west to St Tropez and Avignon. Good local taxi service if you prefer not to drive after an evening out.

Distances:

From Villa Azure, the glamorous resorts of Nice and Cannes are 20 minutes away. Absorb the atmosphere of old Nice and browse the antique markets, or join the evening promenade on the Croisette at Cannes. Both have a range of museums, galleries and shops.

Take a boat trip from Antibes to see the spectacular coastline east to Monte Carlo.

Further Details:

The nearest boulangeries, shops and cafes are at Biot : a typical medieval village a few minutes by car from the villa.

Renowned as a handicrafts centre, there are more than 20 workshops creating original paintings, sculpture, jewellery, hand-painted pottery and the characteristic bubble-flecked Biotoise glassware.

Recommended :

'Cafe de la Poste' with tables in the village square for morning coffee and croissants.

'Le Migranier' with a warm welcome , seasonal home-cooking and a stupendous couscous.

'La Pierre a Four' for their famous brioche d'escargots au foie gras.

'Cafe Brun', run by a friendly British couple with pub-style food and ambiance.

Further inland are the villages of Grasse famous for its perfume factories, St Paul de Vence, Mougins & Valbonne to name but a few all are well worth a visit.

Along the coast are the beautiful areas of Cap-Ferrat, Villefrance-sur-Mer, Beaulieu-sur-Mer and on to Monaco.
