Vila in Golf Del Sur, Tenerife - A Lovely Villa Right On The Seafront And Yet Near The Entertainment

The property is right on the seafront in a quiet, select area. A shared private pool, with card access, is available to guests. Or you can walk to the end of the garden and swim in the sea, entering the sea via swimming pool style steps. The view when you look out of the lounge to the sea at the end of the garden is spectacular. Roof top terrace for private sunbathing (unfurnished). The area is very quiet but a 300 yard walk will take you to the commercial centre - to restaurants, bars and shops. Walking distance to the 27 hole golf course and International Bowling.

About the Owner

Sadly my father, Dave Thompson, passed away on the 4th October 2016 having suffered a second stroke in June this year. To give you a little background, he was a retired Company Director who enjoyed flying microlight aircraft. He also set up and ran a Science club which provided professors to lead monthly discussions on many scientific topics in a pub or cafe environment . The arrangements operate under the aegis of the British Science Association and are called Scibars. He would also, on invitation, take over a class in a school for a day and teach them "Science" usually "Space" or "Electricity from electrons to power stations" with appropriate demonstrations or project work. Since Dad's initial stroke I, (Jacqui Laws), have taken over much of the responsibility for the villa and should be the first port of call.

Fantastic location. Golf course nearby. Short journey from airport. Superb quiet situation to chill out from work.

Activity and Interests

Car: not necessary

Coast/Beach:

Beautiful rocky cove immediately outside front of villa - swimming via pool style steps into the sea. Pebble beach 400 yards to both left and right of villa. Large empty sandy beach about 8km at Sleeping Elephant rock. Beaches with full facilities at Los Cristianos about 10km.

Travel:

5 minutes drive to Reine Sofia Airport.

Buses and taxis to Playa de Las Americas or Los Cristianos about 300 yds outside hotel.

Playa de Las Americas around 15 minutes drive.

Distances:

There is a hotel nearby for all day trips to the aquapark, Mount Teide, island tours etc. Most activities shops, restaurants, supermarkets, banks are within 3 minutes walk. The quaint fishing village of Los Abrigos with its famous fresh fish restaurants a short walk across the beach .

Further Details:

Golf - tee times bookable. Hyperdino Supermarket close by.

Eat out cheaply or well - try Pate de Oro or The lobster Pot 450m.

Prices shown are per week in UK Pounds for two people sharing the property .

Bookings in 2016 which include any of the following days; Good Friday to Easter Monday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day are charged at £780 per week, based upon 2 people sharing and assuming a Friday start and finish date. A supplement of £80 is added for non Friday to Friday bookings.

Access to the sea for snorkelling. Lovely coastal walks on the doorstep. Barbecues on the patio and that superb view. Restaurants and bars within easy walking distance, but far enough not to disturb the peace - about 300m.
