My husband, 13 year old son and I live in England. Before we had our son we always loved to travel to many parts of Europe and on one of our trips to Spain we accidently discovered this beautiful part of France that we'd never heard of. As well as our home in France my husband has his family apartment in Spain which is equally lovely.

Unfortuanately we both work so we can't spend as much time as we'd like to in our homes but we enjoy renting them out to our guests so they can have as much enjoyment as we have when we visit.

We take a lot of time and trouble to ensure our home is well kept and have some fantastic people helping us keep our home in good condition so our guests can enjoy their time with us.

A fantastic 2 bedroomed apartment, close to all amentities, a pleasant 10 minute stroll to a wonderful beach. The apartment was very spacious for a family of four, lots of hot water after a long day at the beach, large fridge for the essentials (beer, wine and icecream). A hob for the odd night in and air con in each bedroom to ensure a good night's sleep.

From the Owner

El Alamo is situated in the town of Calpe just 40 minutes away from Benidorm. The apartment is located 10 minutes walk from a beautiful sandy beach overlooking the famous rock, Penon de Fach which is likened to the rock of Gibralter (well, a much smaller version!). The weather here is wonderful, especially for those sun worshipers. The old town of Calpe is equally wonderful with many modern shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. The old part of town has some wonderful cobbled stoned alley ways leading up and up to the church square where you will find some traditional Spanish restaurants. Because it is an old fishing village you will still get the fresh catch of the day which you must try. The food here is just devine. You can't beat a good jug of Sangria and tapas in the evening!

10 minutes walk to a lovely sandy beach looking over Penon de Fach rock. Many other sandy beaches in easy reach along the coastline - a car might be useful but is certainly not necessary as there is so much in walking distance.


Less than 2 hours drive from Alicante airport or Valencia airport. ClickAir do some very cheap flights from London Heathrow.


Less than 10 minutes drive to Calpe Old Town, fishing village.

Long term lets/Winter lets at very competitive prices. As the apartment if larger than new builds it is ideal for people who are property searching or for pensioners who are on a budget. Climbers and cyclists also love this area and it has been very popular as a long term let in the Winter months are the weather is so much more reasonable. it is especially popular for people suffering from Asthma as the pipe trees are very beneficial for this condition.

From the Owner

El Alamo is just 10 minutes walk from the nearest sandy beach. It is ideal for families young and old equally. There are 2 supermarkets on the doorstep so in actual fact there is no need to hire a car if you don't want to drive. There is an abundance of restaurants and bars including a more upmarket restaurant just a few minutes walk to the right of the apartment. There is also a fully operational laundry under the block which can have your clothes washed and ironed within a few hours. You can leave all your cares behind when you come to Calpe because there is something for everyone, young and old. You can catch a small train from across the road in front of Hotel Esmeralda which will take you into Calpe town where you can spend the day and then return by taxi for a few euros.

  • Notes on accommodation: Bed linen is provided along with kitchen towel. 2 bath towels and 1 hand towel. Electricity and gas included. If you stay for two weeks we provide a change of linen for the second week. Any extras can be requested e.g. air conditioning, high chair etc. The apartment is equipped with air-conditioning units for extra comfort.
