Casa das Figueiras, set on a hilltop, is a modern three bedroom country villa offering total security and privacy. It is mid-way between Guia village and Gale Beach. It has its own landscaped grounds and private swimming pool, pool shower. The spacious patio is ideal for dining and sun-bathing. It is within easy reach of two golf courses, the new marina and Algarve Shopping centre. It is about forty minutes from Faro Airport. Well equipped villa with WIFI and cable TV.
Casa das Figueiras is a beautifully maintained family oriented villa set in its own landscaped grounds. It is totally secluded and secured with a remote controlled security system. It has its own mosaic tiled swimming pool, 9m by 4.5m with roman steps and poolside shower. The spacious patio with sea views is ideal for sunbathing and relaxing.
The villa has three bedrooms, 1 double and 2 twin. Two modern bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen, a utility room and a large dining/sitting room opening out onto the patio. All bedrooms open on to a terrace or patio. There is Air Conditioning in the living area and bedrooms. The sitting room has a wood-burning stove, WIFI and cable TV. The kitchen is equipped with all mod cons including coffee machine, juicer and sandwich toaster.
This spacious villa is on two levels with a marble staircase leading to the upper floor. There is a child-proof gate at the top of the stairs.
A cot, high chair and camp bed can be provided. . Bookings taken on a 7-day basis. Beach Towels not provided.

Lovely villa

We had a lovely stay at Casa das Figueiras. The villa was lovely and comfortable and spotlessly clean. It was also very well stocked with everything that we needed. We weren't expecting beach towels or beach toys or pool inflatables but these were a welcome addition. The property manager was fantastic. She was very helpful at check in and was responsive to the messages we sent her during the week. We were disappointed not to be able to use the outdoor barbecue but given how dry it was and the risk of wildfires, we completely understand the need for caution.

Fantastic family holiday

My husband and our 2 sons had a fantastic week staying here. The arrangements for getting to the villa and finding the keys were well laid out. Upon arrival, we quickly found the local supermarket to stock up on groceries then it was straight in the pool! Our 2 boys loved the water and the use of the sunbeds and outdoors furniture was much appreciated. This villa is a great base for touring much of the Algarve and we did trips out to the hills and along the coast in both directions. A very quiet rural location so a good amount of peace and quiet - having a car is essential as it's off the main road and shops etc are not easily accessed within walking distance. The villa is nicely decorated and was really comfortable with air conditioning in the lounge & bedrooms. Great communications with the owners and the caretakers. Overall a fab holiday and a great place to stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a private peaceful break.

Lovely quiet villa

The villa was just as described. Lovely large pool,which also had inflatables for the kids, and buckets & spades in the garage. The villa was very clean and well equipped, with everything you would need, also a cool box to take out on your day trips. Although there is a supermarket and restaurant in walking distance it is advisable to hire a car to explore the wonderful places. We would definitely recommend this villa and would love to return again in the future.

Excellent holiday choice

Lovely villa in a very private location but only a short walk to a local bar, restaurant & supermarket. We were well looked after by Jennie & Harry as well who maintained the pool & cleaning. Will certainly go back again.

Very comfortable, accessible and close to amenities - we'd go again

The instruction on how to reach the villa from the airport were simple and straightforward and we reached there in 40 minutes with no problems. The villa is located down a short track off a side road. A car is essential if staying here. The villa itself is very nice and well presented, clean, tidy and very well equipped for a holiday let. The pool is very nice (if a little cold in early June) and the surrounding area which includes a very good BBQ were all finished to a high standard with plenty of sun loungers, and a table and chairs to enjoy eating al fresco. There is a small supermarket and a very good restaurant in the village 5 minutes from the villa and the Algarve Shopping Centre is only 10 minutes by car away. In summary, yes, we would definitely go again

Casa das Figueiras offers total seclusion and security while being withing walking distance of local bars, restaurants, shops and within a 5 minute drive to Salgados Golf Course, beaches, supermarkets and a large selection of fine restaurants. Algarve Shopping Centre is a 10 minute drive away. Along with many well known shops the centre also has a large Foodhall and Cinema which shows English speaking films. The tranquility of the location and the easy accessibility to amenities makes it a really special holiday retreat. The Michelin 2 Star Vila Joya Restaurant is located near Gale Beach, just a short distance away.
