The main 28ft terrace overlooks 5 links of Isla Canela Golf Course guaranteeing all day sunshine until sundown. The club has an 18 hole/72 par golf course with own clubhouse and reduced green fees for guests. To sample the true Spain the picturesque town of Ayamonte is walking distance away with a good selection of individual shops, tapas bars and restaurants. The magnificent 7km beach and the new marina is just minutes away. An unspoilt haven for the discerning visitor, only 3km from Portugal by road, is situated in an area considered of outstanding beauty with its protected wildlife.

Perfect location for both a beach based holiday or a golf/leisure based activity holiday, whether you want to unwind and chill out with long walks on a fantastic unspoilt beach or brush up on your golf skills on any of the 6 golf course around. Lots of local walks and many other sporting activities available locally. The town is vibrant throughout the year as it is not purely a tourist destination. Plently of opportunities to taste authentic spanish food or with a short visit (15mins) to portugal to taste the Portuguese food. The Marina serves european fayre so all the family can be suited. In the mild winter months as well as golf there is a local (brand new) swimming pool and spa, walks and wildlife to explore.

Superb Apartment

This is a well equipped, very spacious apartment within a quiet complex. It is nice and airy with balconies front and back The large balcony to the back is perfect for evening sun, and the smaller at the front is great for breakfast time.

We stayed here in August with our teenage family and there is loads to do and lots of fabulous beaches to explore within a half hour drive. The town of Ayamonte is busy with lots of excellent and very reasonably priced restaurants, whilst there is a good selection of beach side cafes and restaurants at Isla Canela.

Would definitely recommend and would love to go back!

Excellent apartment in a fabulous unspoilt area.

Very comfortable and well apartment in a wonderful undiscovered part of Spain. Excellent pool in well-maintained and secure grounds with fabulous beaches a short drive away. Ayamonte is a lovely town with plenty of good restaurants / bars. Owners are very helpful. We've booked to go again next year - what more do we need to say?!

Great stay - very hot in July

The flat is one of the most comfortable and well appointed we have stayed in and excellent value. Having said that, a car is a must; the town and good beaches are not really in walking distance. The swimming pool is really excellent, beaches are brilliant, and the main town Ayamonte nice and interesting. This is still spanish Spain; very few Brits, prices low - great getaway spot! Would go again perhaps not in July though - seriously hot. The owner Jackie, pleasant and very easy to do deal with.

Notes on accommodation: new from May 2015 newly installed system just for the apartment previously part of a shared community service. Hair Dryers (2) available. Non-smokers please and no pets. Outside: The apartments are situated in a private complex of only 64 with private parking and own security entrance. It has its own gardens which are meticulously maintained. The large pool is manned by a lifeguard in the summer months and is available from Easter until October. There is also a children's pool and small play area to the far end of the gardens. There is a shaded seating area. On the terrace as well as dining chairs there are sun loungers available. Beach Towels are now supplied as part of the package. Utility Room: Suitable for storage of golf clubs, beach chairs etc does include airing facilities for clothes. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Cleaning/towels/linen are included in the price as well as beach towels. Midweek cleans can be arranged by separate arrangement. Other: Terrace has dining and lounging facilities overlooking the 8th & 9th green. The apartments are private, with only a few rented out. The people are friendly and mainly speak English. The pool is open May -October.
