This spacious and luxurious three bedroom villa with its private pool and large, sunny terrace, offers wonderful, uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean. A covered terrace leads into the large dining room and living area. A modern, fully fitted kitchen includes an electric ceramic hob and oven, extractor fan, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and an excellent selection of utensils, crockery and cutlery. The light, airy bedrooms are large, each having floor to ceiling built-in wardrobes; glass doors lead directly from the master bedroom on to the terrace. A safe is also available in the master bedroom so guests can keep items such as passports, cash, jewellery, etc in. Each fully tiled, spacious and brightly lit bathroom has a large, double-hinged window, basin, low-level WC and in the master suite, a walk-in shower. The utility room contains a new, full-size washing machine, iron and ironing board. In the garden adjacent to the villa, a new terrace has been constructed complete with a custom-built barbecue. Situated close to the attractive small port of Moraira, many 'blue flag' beaches are within easy reach of the villa.

After three holidays in Villa Ladera, the kids now definitely regard this as their second home (I wish!). The local beaches are perfect for family holidays, and to sit on the terrace in the evening with drink in hand just looking out over the Mediterranean is sheer bliss…..Please reserve the same dates for us again next year!..David & Rachael Hayes, Chelmsford.



Villa Ladera proved ideal for the walking holiday we’d planned in this part of the Costa Blanca. After long walks in the Sierra Bernia mountains, to return each evening to the comfort and luxury of your villa was really lovely. And because of our late arrival on day one, the ‘welcome’ pack was very much appreciated!..Tom and Megan Evans, Swansea.

Perfect Holiday Escape

There is a reason we keep getting drawn back to the Villa Ladera. It's the place we go to re charge our batteries.

This light airy and well maintained spacious villa is well equipped with comfortable beds.

The pool area has a lovely covered dinning space, with lots of sun beds.

The icing on the cake, are the truly stunning views. It's something we never get tired of.

We've already booked for 2017, as we could not bare to be dissappointed. It's such a popular villa....

The owners make you feel most welcome.

The management team John & PIna solve any problem quickly and are easy to get in touch with. I would certainly recommend this property.

Breathtaking views in a lovely location

From the moment we got there Pina&John the local agents made us feel very welcome.Our stay at villa Ladera was wonderful,set in a quiet and peaceful location for those seeking to relax and enjoy the incredible views.The villa was not only beautiful but like a home from home ,spotless and extremely comfortable inside and out.The pool was lovely and a welcomed addition in the afternoon heat plus you had a lovely cooling breeze.Furthermore,from our first enquiry Derek was the perfect host from sending travel directions to the villa from the airport to how to work alarms,safes etc.Would i return,most definitely.

Fabulous villa, lovely pool and view

Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed staying in this lovely villa. Excellent and useful communication from Derek the owner from time of booking, and a friendly welcome from onsite agents Pina and John on our arrival.

Very clean and well equipped property for a 2-week holiday. Our boys loved the pool - and we relaxed by chilling under the naya and admiring the amazing view. Very quiet when we visited in late July. Sea breezes kept us cool.

We explored fab local beaches, market and beautiful waterfalls. Moraira is a pretty little town and the area is beautifully green and scenic. We wholeheartedly recommend this villa for a peaceful and relaxing holiday 😎👍

Stunning Villa and Location

My husband and ! stayed here with our toddler and baby daughter, extremely child friendly villa, even two highchairs which meant our littlest had her own chair out on the terrace too! changing mat, toys etc all at hand. Very comfy beds and well equipped kitchen. Personal thanks to the local agents (John & Pina) & the owner Derek, response and quality of replies from all were exceptional. Great hillside villa

We had 6 lovely days here in January with blue skies and warm sunshine at around 22degrees each day. The villa was very comfortable and as described. it was clean and the beds and bathrooms were excellent. The views were super and although we didn't swim the pool would be great in the Summer. Kitchen facilities were excellent and we used the dishwasher and the aircon heating to keep the villa warm at night as it was midwinter! We will definitely return. Communications with the owner Derek were first class and help was just a phone call away if we needed anything during our stay. Many thanks.

Lovely villa, stunning views.

An absolutely fantastic villa. Very well maintained with everything you need. Beautiful pool, stunning views, comfortable bedrooms, excellent wi-fi and English freesat TV, perfect when you have teenagers! Lots of things under the villa to play with in the pool. Everything really clean and tidy. We've stayed in many villas which have cost a lot more, but this villa is streets ahead. Moraira is not far away and is lovely with good shops and great places to eat, as well as a sandy beach. Great contact with the owner, so helpful, and when you arrive great people to greet you who look after the villa for the owner. Highly recommend. Hope to return to the villa next year.

COAST/BEACH

The Costa Blanca (White Coast) is now one of the most cosmopolitan areas in Europe, having a coastline of over 200km and made up of some of the finest beaches on the Mediterranean. Many of these beaches, including the ones around Moraira, enjoy a ‘Blue Flag’ status - the highest award that can be given within the EU. This region of Spain also has one of the best climates in the world as defined by the UN’s World Health Organisation. Enjoying on average over 300 days of sunshine a year, summer temperatures rarely fall below 30C whilst winters are typically very mild with average temperatures around 18C. The local beach is only about 1.5km from the villa and is a small, picturesque cove used almost entirely by local residents. Facilities include a small beach-bar and the hire of sun-beds and parasols whilst the sheltered bay is ideal for diving and snorkelling. Moraira’s main beach, L’Ampolla, is an ideal ‘family’ beach with lots of golden sand and excellent facilities while just 1.5km away is El Portet. Surrounded by steep hills, this sheltered bay with its gently sloping beach is perfect for safe swimming.

REGION

Just a few minutes’ drive from the villa is an excellent restaurant with stunning panoramic views looking directly out over the Mediterranean, a café enjoying similar views and an international supermarket. And just a short drive away, you have easy access to other supermarkets such as Aldi, Lidl, and Carrefour. Moraira is less than 15 mins drive away and there you can still stroll among narrow, flower-decorated streets in the town or just relax in one of the many pavement cafés. The town centre is an attractive blend of the old and the new with a wide selection of boutiques, shops, bars and some excellent restaurants offering a wide choice of Spanish and international cuisine. One of Moraira's most important festivals is the Fiesta of Moors and Christians, usually held in June. However, other towns in the area also celebrate this festival at different times during the summer. Theatrically presented in impressive costumes, the townspeople are separated into Moorish and Christian filas (groups), and hold marches and mock battles which take place at various times and places throughout Moraira. The high point of this amazing fiesta is the procession and firework display on the last day.

Clues to the region's history are very evident as you explore its villages, towns and cities. Place names have their Arabic roots but it's the architecture which is most striking. Ancient villages were built on hilltops and always featured winding streets to aid defence against marauders. Guadalest is a fortress village that dates back to the middle ages, perched at over 1500m on a mountain peak about 25km inland from Benidorm, it is still only accessible via a tunnel passing through 15m of solid rock. Calpe, with its numerous sandy beaches, is about 20 mins drive away. Here you'll also find the majestic Rock of Ifach. It was originally called the 'Northern Rock' by Phoenician traders in order to distinguish it from Gibraltar. The volcanic Rock measures over 300m high and is now a nature reserve. However, for those wishing to get a breathtaking view of the coastline, there is a path which takes you to the peak. Denia, about 30 mins away, is the largest of the local towns yet still retains much of its old charm with the fishermen’s quarter and its delightful cobbled streets and whitewashed buildings, all dominated by its impressive 16 C castle.

For those seeking a more cosmopolitan experience, Valencia is about 1 hour’s drive to the north. This is Spain’s third largest city and offers superb modern shopping facilities as well as a wonderful, traditional fresh meat, fruit and vegetable market. Drive about 45 mins to the south and you’ll find Benidorm with its unrivalled nightlife. However, other attractions at Benidorm include Mundomar Marine and Exotic Animal Park, ideal for a family day out. The Park is home to a wide range of creatures living in a simulated natural environment with one of the highlights of the day being the amazing dolphin show. Next to Mundomar Marine is Aqualandia, which features a multitude of water entertainments. Finally, there’s Terra Mitica. This spectacular theme park will transport you back to the Greek and Roman eras and has one of the biggest roller coasters in Europe.

Within just a short drive from the villa, you’ll find a range of LEISURE ACTIVITIES sufficient to satisfy even the most discerning holiday-maker. For example, there are three excellent golf courses nearby with one of them, the Olazabal-designed course at La Sella, also offering tennis and squash facilities. In nearby Moraira and Javea, you’ll also find diving schools and jet-ski facilities and on Cumbre itself there’s an equestrian centre. However, for those wanting a more relaxing holiday, there are many scenic walks with the local tourist office offering free guided walks of the area during the summer.

CHANGEOVER DAY:
Changeover day is usually Saturday or Sunday (arrival after 4:00 pm, departure by 10:00 am). However, please don't hesitate to contact us regarding other changeover days and times, as every attempt is made to be as flexible as possible so guests can take advantage of cheaper, mid-week flights.

NOTES ON PRICES:
Please note that the rental price of the villa is the total cost with no additional supplements for things such as linen packs, final cleaning, etc, or for full use of the air-conditioning or Wi-Fi. The price also includes, if required, the use of a cot, high-chair, and changing-mat.

  • Notes on accommodation: The villa has full heating/air conditioning throughout, the unlimited use of which is included in the rental. And in the lounge is a traditional, cast iron wood burning stove, which guests can enjoy should the evenings get cool during the winter months. If required our agents are also able to provide towels for use on the beach or the swimming pool. Obviously, using towels supplied by our agents could mean a considerable saving in the weight of any luggage guests are planning to bring on holiday with them plus the convenience that at the end of the holiday, you can leave the towels behind instead of washing and packing them for the journey home. If guests would like to make use of this option and as there’s no restriction on how many towels guests can have, our agents will ensure that fresh towels are in the villa on arrival and the cost to hire them paid directly to our agents. A safe is also available for the use of guests. Guests are requested not to smoke inside the villa. Outside: The villa has a spacious, separately illuminated terrace with seating and table enabling guests to enjoy al fresco dining whilst admiring uninterrupted views towards the Mediterranean. This terrace is not overlooked and the private pool (8m x 4m), which is easily accessed via wide steps at the shallow end, is cleaned and serviced on a regular weekly basis. Numerous 'toys' for the pool, lilos, inflatables, etc, are also provided for the use of our guests, whilst sun loungers allow you to take full advantage of the glorious climate on the south-facing terrace. To the side of the villa is another terrace which incorporates a large, custom-build BBQ and where separate dining facilities are available. Guests are also provided with use of a cool box and sun umbrella, both of which can be taken to the beach or used on picnics. There is private, off-road car parking directly to the side of the villa. Utility Room: Utility room with new, full-size washing machine, clothes-horse, iron and ironing board. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels are included for use in the villa but our agents can also supply beach towels. Before each new arrival the villa is thoroughly cleaned and then inspected by our agents to ensure it’s of a standard our guests have every right to expect Other: The spacious, separate dining area with its large teak table is adjacent to the kitchen and leads directly on to the terrace. Under this covered terrace you'll also find an al fresco dining area enjoying wonderful, direct views to the Mediterranean.
