We had such a good time, thank you so much, we really loved staying in your house.



We had such a fabulous time and loved your townhouse, it was such a great location. You never know we may return with some friends one day. The three double bedrooms all with their own showers were a godsend! We will certainly spread the word as well amongst people we know!



We had a super time in your house, and we all loved both the house and Lagos. I hope we will have the opportunity to return some time.

Been to Lagos before but never stayed there. House is ideally situated to the bars,restaurants and shops.It is opposite a hospital but that did not bother us to much.Also,only a few minutes away from the beach.The owner is very friendly and easily accessible by email or phone.I would imagine that the town of Lagos would be very busy in the Summer. The 4 of us that went in Feb are in our 50's but there is enough to do and every restaurant we went to (different one every night) were very reasonable.The most we paid for the 4 of us was 100 euros including wine but on average we paid 70 euros.Would definetly use this accomodation again.

I stayed here last year with two friends for a girls getaway.

Gina was the perfect hostess and I would recommend any of my friends or family to stay here.

The place was lovely and clean and we felt very safe walking home at night, as it's so central.

We all would definitely stay here again.

Perfect holiday accommodation

We have stayed at Casa Castelo several times now as a family and we love the character and old charm of the property. The town-house is well equipped and all three double bedrooms have ensuite showers, which is a necessity when coming in from the beach. Casa Castelo is situated within very short walking-distance to beaches, shops and restaurants in the charming old town of Lagos.The property is well maintained, clean and comfortable with a homely feel. The owners, Gina and Kirk, are extremely helpful and friendly. I believe this is a place we will return to many times!

A very happy holiday

A gorgeous and spacious house in a wonderfully central location. A minute's stroll into Lagos, five minutes to the nearest town beaches (Praia Batata, or the shuttle over to Meia Praia). Gina was the perfect host - swift and friendly communications, a warm welcome on arrival and lots of much appreciated goodies in the fridge! Thanks so much :)

The house is about 300 yards walk from Lagos beach. There are plenty of other beaches that are a short car journey along this section of the coast, for example, Luz, Salema, Zavial, Meia Praia.

Travel:

There is free car parking nearby but a car is not necessary. If requested, we can help arrange airport transfers (Faro), or recommend good value car hire.

When you contact us, please advise the dates you would like to rent the house. We will send you a booking form, and reserve the dates. Deposit of 20% required with the completed booking form. Balance due eight weeks prior to arrival. Security deposit (£100), refundable within 2 weeks of departure.

Changeover Day:
Flexible changeover day. To allow time for cleaning, occupancy is usually taken up after 4pm on the day of arrival and vacated by 10am on the date of departure unless by prior arrangement.

Notes on prices:
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. In off peak season a separate arrangement may be negotiated for long rental periods. Utility costs for long rental periods are not included. Payment can be accepted by cheque in pounds or Euro by prior arrangement.

A complimentary welcome pack is provided on arrival - enjoy a light snack and relax before shopping! Outside: Steps from the kitchen lead to a sun terrace, which has a table and chairs (but is at the back of the house so, unfortunately, no view of the sea). Utility Room: Washing machine under stairs to terrace, outside kitchen. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Maid service is provided weekly.
