Our holiday home is the perfect place to chill out and relax. Home from home, you will find everything you need for a stress free self catering family holiday. Situated on the quieter North coast with stunning sea views, the apartment is close to the wonderful Son Saura beach, and only 5 mins drive away from the islands only golf club. There are a handful of bars, restaurants and supermarkets within easy reach, but yet far enough away so as not to disturb your tranquillity. New for 2015 Wifi access in the apartment

lovely apartment in a perfect setting

We had a wonderful holiday at Casa Launder. The apartment was fantastic with everything you could wish for! We really loved the outside area which is very spacious and private. Our girls particularly enjoyed the pool and it was never too busy, despite being in August. My eldest daughter loved her holiday so much she would like to live here! Thank you Sue and Col we had a great time and loved your apartment.

Beautiful views, well equipped apartment

We had a lovely stay in this apartment. It is really well equipped - we had everything we needed. The view is wonderful from the terrace where we enjoyed several barbecues. The amazing beach is only a short walk away( although down lots of steps) and I can't believe we didn't make more of this as we spent a lot of time touring the island- which we also enjoyed. I would definitely recommend this apartment - we are a family of 4 including 2 teenage boys and it had everything we needed. The resort is quiet and one of my boys would have preferred a little more life - but that is to be expected - and can be found in a short drive to other resorts.

Perfect

Second time in this 20 apartment Ses Colinas complex and Casa Launder was the best. All privately owned so only about 60% occupied. Spotlessly clean, very well equipped kitchen plus home comforts such as a satellite TV for those all important cricket and football scores. Restaurants and shops within walking distance but a car is essential to visit the island. No need to visit other beaches however as the Son Parc beach is beautiful, with soft sand and very gently shelving so ideal for children. Shared pool was never crowded and a real sun trap. Thank you Sue and Colin, we'll be back.

So pleased you enjoyed your stay, and spent many a lazy day round the pool and yes we agree Son Parc beach is just amazing We have had guests stay without a car , and use the bus to Mahon & Fornells, and local taxis,it just takes more time I guess. We too though prefer to hire a car, as its such a beautiful island. We also love a walk over the headland path to Arenal beach, takes about 40 mins and gives you wonderful views over the coast Look forward to welcoming you back another year - thanks again!

Just perfect!

We have now stayed here three times and the apartment just gets better each time. The owners have spent a lot of money upgrading the kitchen, bathroom and lounge this year and this made the accommodation even better.

Spotless and clean on arrival, fresh linen after the first week and a really well equipped kitchen with every thing you need if you wish to prepare a special meal.

Location and the view from the terrace is very special for all ages. a lot of steps to the beach but you can drive and park at the far side of the local beach. We would recommend a hire car to get around this beautiful island.

The only downside is there is only one loo/bathroom so if you have teenage girls who hog the mirror, beware!

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

The beach is a 5 minute walk away, though there are many steps down. If preferred you can drive down, and park at the beach car park. The Son saura is a lovely fine sand beach, with sand dunes, and stunning bay. In the summer months it is lifeguard attended. Menorca has many wonderful beaches and one of the nicest secluded bays can be found after a 30 minute walk over the headland, taking in the aromas of the wild flowers.

Travel:

Mahon airport is a 25 minute drive away from the resort of Son Parc. Taxis cost about 50 euros. Although car hire is not essential to enjoy this holiday, as there are enough amenities within the resort, those wishing to explore this wonderful island will find it useful to hire a car. Buses run from the resort to Fornells and Mahon.

Distances:

The island is only 45 miles long, so nowhere is more than an hours drive away. The neighbouring resorts of Fornells, Arenal & Addaya, are approx 10 minutes drive away.

Arenal can also be reached over the headland walk in approx 40 minutes with spectacular sea views.

Further Details:

Many activities can be arranged in the locality such as horse riding, water skiing, deep sea diving, water parks

Mahon the capital, approx 30 minutes drive, has a market on Tuesdays/ Saturdays, combine this with a trip on the glass bottomed boat, and lunch watching the fine yachts round the port- Paradise!

  • Notes on accommodation: The property is managed by an english company who speak Spanish. Contact details will be in the apartment if needed. There is also a private parking place. Welcome packs are available on arrival at an additional cost if required. Please note smoke alarms are fitted in the apartment,and we request that you do not smoke inside the apartment as a consideration to our furnishings and future guests. Outside: The terrace facing the pool has the morning sun till lunchtime, so you can enjoy privacy on your patio before lounging round the pool. The gardens are well manicured and maintained, and the private shared pool is cleaned daily in peak periods. The pool is lovely, but very deep, so non swimmers need to be attended at all times. Utility Room: Outside sink, and washing machine located in rear patio. Access gained through master bedroom. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All linen, bedding & bath towels are included. Beach towels however are not provided. Towels/ bedding changed weekly only with maid service. Cleaning is arranged before arrival & after departure. Other: UPVC double glazed patio doors lead onto the large private terrace, with luxury wicker patio furniture, cushioned bench and 4 sun loungers, A built in BBQ completes your outside area.
