This superb 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom luxury house is situated in Cala Egos in a private community comprising of 8 houses, with its own private terrace, fully air conditioned and furnished to a very high standard, communal swimming pool and beautiful gardens. Close to local beaches, shops, supermarket, bars and restaurant's 5 to 10 min walk away. There is a local road train that tours the cala's frequently for those that prefer to ride. The beautiful Cala D'or is within walking distance of the house which can be enjoyed with a stroll around the marina with its beautiful boats, places to eat and drink and shops. Buses are available on the high street for visits all around the island if desired.

What makes this house unique

The villa is a 5 minute walk to the shops, bars and restaurants of Cala Egos and the lovely Cala Des Pou is less than a 10 minute walk. Check out the night market on a Thursday for gifts and souvenirs. Head in the other direction and you can get to the quaint fishing port of Porto Petro in under 20 mins. here you will find traditional tapas and boutique shops. Also, scuba diving is available from here.

Further down the coast a visit to the Mondrago National Park (10 minute car / 9€ taxi / 2 € bus) offers beautiful beaches to rival any worldwide. The beach restaurants will serve a wide range of dishes from sandwiches to lobster.

Cala D'Or marina itself has a host of restaurants, boutique shops and the odd bar. Boat trips / charter are available from here.

Another fab holiday

This was our second stay at this property. We had a very relaxing holiday, enjoyed the pool, the lovely weather and the many restaurants in Egos, Cala D'or and the marina.

The property is very spacious for 2 adults and 2 children and is well equipped with everything you might need if you are planning to cook.

Would definitely recommend.

The property was very nice,spacious and well equipped. And the location was in easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. The air con in one of the bedrooms didn't work which ment two of the guests didn't sleep very well and there was only one key fob for 6 adults which caused problems if we wanted to go out separately.

The biggest issue with the house was the sunbed situation.. When we arrived they were stacked on the patio so we carried them down to the pool and back up at night there is a large terrace but not enough room for 6 and you don't get the sun on it until the afternoon and it gets no breeze so gets incredibly hot. On the third day we found a folder with rules that said sun beds were not allowed by the pool!! We took the trouble to go and ask the people in the other two houses that were occupied and the said they were fine with it. One set of guests said they had been coming for years and had stayed in our accommodation and had done the same for the same reasons. However, two days before we left a new group arrived who were obviously owners and demanded we remove them from the pool area. They also made a point of locking the pedestrian gate whenever they saw us go out which ment we had to climb over if we weren't the one with the key fob!

The pool area is huge and even if all sun beds were out there would still be space although you are not allowed on the grass area.

Had these people arrived at the beginning of our holiday they would have ruined it for us and for this reason alone although the house and facilities are fab I would not return again. Holidays are ment to be relaxing and stress free not stressful.

Owner's Response: We totally understand that people like to have the beds by the pool. However, there are several reasons why the owners decided not to allow it. Firstly, beds get left on the grass, this prevents the sprinklers from doing their job and ruins the lawn. Also, allowing beds near the pool encourages glasses to be taken down which can break and cause safety issues, certainly if glass gets into the pool. Furthermore, the beds laid out here compromise the privacy on each of the terraces, so it is for the comfort and the safety of the residents. The terrace directly overlooks the pool a few yards away. The terrace has ample room for 6 sunbeds, a large dining table and we even have a 3 piece rattan set so there is plenty of space. Also, the sun remains on the terrace until it sets. The rule is there for your own comfort, privacy and safety, not to ruin your holiday. So, apologies if this was the case.

Lovely house

We have just returned from our 2 week stay here. We had a fabulous holiday. We have been to this area of Majorca many times so we know what to expect from the location. The house is even nicer than it looks in the photos, our children spent hours in the shared pool where they made new friends. It was just perfect for a totally relaxing holiday, would recommend to anyone. Thank you.

Cala Egos has beautiful beaches all within walking distance of the house with small bays ideal for children, you can also take the little trolly train to the beautiful Cala Mondrago around 20 mins ride away which has all the facilities for a day at the beach.


Approx 35/40 minutes drive from Palma airport.

Further Details:

Cala Egos is situated just next door to Cala D'or giving the opportunity to visit both resorts quite easily. Both have a wonderful selection of restaurant's and shops and both have large Supermarkets for the weekly shop. The amazing Cala D'or Marina with the beautiful boats and intimate eateries is within walking distance of the house, so much worth a visit.
