Villa in Playa de Pals, Costa Brava near Girona airport.

The villa is in a quiet road, a few minutes walk to 4 restaurants, bars, tennis courts/club and well stocked supermarkets. Mini-golf and other children's amusements are nearby as is the beautiful sandy beach. The area boasts several golf courses, numerous small coves (inc. a nudist beach) to explore by boat or rambling coastal paths. The old medieval town of Pals has several good restaurants and bars and overlooks a valley famous for its rice crop and fruit orchards. We are in a quiet location but near all amenities and only 6 minutes walk to the beach.

Our Villa has full wifi & internet plus 3 bedrooms including the master bedroom with air conditioning, ensuite bathroom and balcony overlooking pool and garden. The other 2 bedrooms have fans. All bedrooms have double wardrobes and hair dryers. The living area has a modern tv, dvd player, and most importantly, wifi and internet connection via the phone line. Comfy leather sofas, inside dining, and open fireplace for early/late bookings. You will find every kitchen appliance from microwave to food processor, juicer, coffee maker etc along with many condiments, herbs, spices and cleaning materials. Bed linen, towels and beach towels are included at no extra cost.

Our pool is not overlooked, and is well maintained by our local agent and there are many pool & beach toys.

The garden features grape vines, olive, cherry, orange and lemon trees among many plants and flowering shrubs. There is parking for 2 cars within the security of the private garden or just outside the double locking gates on the quiet road.

Payment for the rental may be made be made by cheque, bank transfer or Paypal ( 2.% surcharge)

We are a retired couple and spend as much time as possible in our lovely Villa which means you may find it 'home from home' with all the essentials you would find in your own home. Though we are very happy of course, to rent out to families and friends during the lovely summer weather in this wonderful region of Spain.

The villa is near all the amenities essential for a carefree holiday - good shops, local towns with excellent markets, bars and restaurants and of course, the huge beach within walking distance.

The area also boasts unusual regions - rice growing in the valley and views on a good day, of the Pyrennees mountains in the north.

A delightful villa

This is a lovely villa. It is ideal for a group of 4/5, or a small family. It is very clean and has all the facilities you might need. The garden is a delight - well planned, with a secluded feel to it. Pool is small but good for cooling off. Malcolm was very helpful and accommodating at every stage of the process. Added to all of this, the Pals area itself is wonderful part of the world (we've been returning now for almost 20 years). Not much more to say!

A very good choice of villa July 2016

This villa has everything just as the description said, with nothing

left to chance, you can tell the owners love this villa to, it is very clean and well maintained

We were only there for one week, but wished we could stay for longer, the area is generally very busy with lots of camping holiday makers, the shops restaurants all very local within walking distance, lots of places to go if you have the time or as we did just chill out in the lovely garden, the pool although small is quite adequate and very clean, or visit the very near sandy beach.

This villa is strongly recommended

A wonderful find. An extremely clean and lovely villa with all the essentials needed to chill out by the pool or cook at the villa. We would thoroughly recommend this property. Some really nice local restaurants and the beach is close. Malcolm & Linda were very helpful with any questions we had regarding our stay. Nice and quiet area with access to local shops. All in all, we had a perfect holiday here. We will be back next year!

Lovely area, lovely house.

I can highly recommend this lovely home. It is a great base to explore the fabulous beaches and coves in the area. The good size pool meant we didn't always have to venture out and having a BBQ in the garden, a great supermarket (Jodofi) nearby and a dishwasher was very handy. All rooms including the bathroom and kitchen were spotless and there was plenty of hot water for a family of 4. The road is quiet, and there are a few shops and bars nearby. Communication from the owners was prompt and courteous, they also gave some good ideas of where to go. Overall, a fabulous place for a family holiday.

Great little villa

We stayed here in August and found the villa great, the villa suited our purposes perfectly , that is just to chill out around the pool and do nothing.the villa is on the small side but it did not get hot inside the villa as we kept the windows open all the time. The villa is close to restaurants and shops and of course the beach which was very handy. The only problem , if you can call it that , was there was a few mozzies around at night but after some spray they didn't come around much. The check in staff were great and very friendly and Malcolm always answered my emails if I wanted to know anything. All in all a great villa, highly recommend it and thanks Malcolm, our only real problem is that we had to leave, another week would have been great . Cheers Mike

The fascinating features near to us in this part of the Costa Brava (means Wild Coast) eg rice fields in the Ter Valley for the wonderful paella dishes, beautiful orchards, cork forests, medieval history of the Moors, sparkling coastal waters. We have a special love of out of season trips, though even in high season, you will not find Kiss-me-quick hats, English pubs, and fish and chips. Just real Catalan local stuff. Or take a trip north to Andorra for a day's skiing and enjoy fabulous scenery en-route. You are an hour or two's driving distance to explore Girona to the west, Perpignan to the north and Barcelona to the south.

The area is famous for its 'paella' rice crops and you can see the submerged paddy fields in the valley en route to the lovely medieval town of Torroella de Montgri.


3 minute drive, or ten minute walk to long sandy unspoilt beach at Playa de Pals with 2 restaurants actually on the beach, or a short drive to numerous coves for scuba diving (Aiguafreda& Estartit) surfing (Sa Riera) snorkelling (Ses Negres) marine reserve or lively beaches at Llfranc, Estartit etc.


Driving from UK - approx. 12 hours from Calais. Best value is low cost budget airline to either Girona (40 mins from Villa) Perpignan (60m) or Barcelona (95m). Car hire useful for visits inland to rice fields, cork forests, mountains, medieval villages. Nearest railway station for trips into Barcelona, is at Flaca (25km).


Barcelona by car - 95m-120mins (depending on traffic) Girona 40 mins. Monastery at Torroella 15 mins, Pyrenees 2.5 hrs.

Well stocked supermarkets, many restaurants, bars, shops all within 5 mins walk, water park, golf, mini golf, go-karting, boat hire, marinas, hill climbing, excellent shopping & fish market at Palamos, nightlife at Playa d'Aro and Salvadore Dali Museum at Figueras. At the villa, you will find every convenience, as this is our home as well as a holiday let. There is central heating for early or late bookings when we accept mid-week bookings to take advantage of cheap flights. So contact us for special discounts for out of season last minute bookings. Excellent local supermarkets open all year round. We only have one holiday home and this is it!
