Pretty three bedroom terraced property is located within minutes of Caleta de Velez fishing village and beach, it has recently been completely refurbished and decorated to a high standard. The property is a 5/10 minute walk to marina, local shops, bars and restaurants. There is a local market in Caleta every Saturday. For golfers, Baviera golf course is a 5 minute drive away and caters for all levels of golf, numerous other well known courses are within 20 minute drive. To get the best from the holiday car hire recommended.

Notes on accommodation: Outside parking space, electric heating and log burner available for winter lets. Outside: South facing private gated terrace with garden furniture, leads onto beautiful shared secure gardens with 2 communal pools and childrens paddling pool (fenced) open beginning of May until the end of September, no life guard in attendance. The swimming pools were totally refurbished in 2012. There is a wonderful tennis court also available to use. Utility Room: Washing machine - all applicances mains electric (no gas bottles). Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bedlinen and house towels supplied. Please provide own beach/pool towels.

Super house in a lovely complex with 2 super pools

We really enjoyed our weeks stay in this house. It was a real home from home. We hired a car and drove from Malaga airport. Directions given were great. Everything was as advertised. All the bedroom were really nice. Very high standard. The pool area was great. We walked down to the town and on to the beach in the evening's for food and walked home again. Big hill but if you take your time it is no problem. Some nice restaurants down at the port. Torre Del Mar is just down the road and it is just Fabulous. We really enjoyed the promenade and the walk on the beach. It is mainly Spanish tourists so food was very reasonable and menu de dia of around 10euro. I got Paella and grilled Fish one night on that. Loads of choices. We hired Kayaks from the boat club one day, it was great fun. Went to Nerja another day. There is air conditioning in the bedrooms so it was very comfortable at night. Overall a great holiday and Andrea was very helpful , only suggestion I would have is that maybe a Euro account to transfer funds to would be a good idea as it would save on the sterling exchange rate fluctuations.

Great house for a relaxing holiday

We spent 2 weeks in this beautiful house - a real home from home. The house is very clean and spacious with every comfort you could possibly need is available for you, I must say the photos don't do the house justice. The house is about a 10 minute walk from the promenade, bars and restaurants and is well placed to catch a bus to Nerja, Malaga or further afield.

Andrea is a pleasure to deal with - nothing is too much bother, she even took the time to contact us a few days after our arrival to make sure we had everything we needed.

Looking forward to our next visit.

Wonderul holiday

We spent 2 weeks in this wonderful house in Caleta de Velez. The communication with the owner Andrea could not have been better. She is a really nice person and answered our countless questions directly.

The house and especially the kitchen is equipped with so many items, which you will certainly miss in other houses.

The house is located in a silent neighborhood but only a five minute walk to the local beach.

The next supermarket is even closer, so that you won't miss anything.

As we already knew the area from previous stays, we enjoyed also the beach at Torre del Mar.

This house is an absolute recommodation- don't hesitate to book!

Wonderfully relaxing holida

We had two weeks in this lovely spacious house which was very clean and was well kitted out with everything you need to enjoy two hot weeks in the sun. The house overlooks the pool, has a lovely patio and garden area. The bedrooms are spacious and have excellent storage and bathroom facilities. It is only five minutes walk from the beach but it is up a steep hill but we did hire a car for the duration of the holiday so this was not a problem. We found the local people very friendly and the urbanisation was friendly also. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was a perfect relaxing holiday. Good selection of supermarkets, bars and restaurants and found owners very easy to deal with.

Cannot stay away

We first booked in June 2014 for 2 weeks to be close to Lake Vinuela and could not find the owners more helpful in accommodating the needs of our 2 year old granddaughter. The house is superbly fitted out for a holiday base and the gardens and pools (3!) are bonus reasons to stay in. The kitchen, the bbq, the bathrooms, wifi availability were so comfortable for us that we then returned in 2015 for 3 weeks. The house is well maintained and spotlessly clean.

It is well located for supermarkets and local shops and as a base for touring Southern Andalucia. The local beaches are easily accessible and provide promenade walks and cafes.

We found car hire to be essential because the urbanisation is situated up a steep hill and car parking can at times be busy. The gardens and pool are open to nearby residents but did not spoil our enjoyment.

We are returning for 4 weeks in 2016.

Simply the Best

We were looking for a nice house with all the creature comforts within walking distance of the town. The owner Andrea was very accommodating when we booked the house, nothing was too much trouble.

Caleta is a short walking distance, a lovely little harbour is nearby, with eateries and bars. Torre Del Mar is a slightly longer walk, but a beautiful one along the seafront prom. All the locals will be out power walking in the evening, a very Spainish area with lots of traditional feelings & flavours. Torre has a myriad of restaurants & bars, you will be spoilt for choice.

The owners have created a little haven.. The house has everything you need & would expect. We are quite particular & can quite safely say you will not be sad to choose this property.

The house is situated in a small complex with around 12 properties, which are surrounding well kept gardens with two lovely pools, it is a little oasis. So if you want relaxation or a night out on the town, this is the place for you.

The larger town of Nerja is only a twenty minute drive, as are various mountain villages that must be visited.

We will return again & again & again. In fact we have already been back since our first visit & are hoping to go again early Autumn. Thx Andrea for making your Spainish home so welcoming & comfortable.

Car: recommended


The house is 5 minutes walk to nearest sandy beach, shops and restaurants. Extensive promanade stretches along the coast to Torre del Mar and Torrox with plenty of restaurants and tapas bars. The sea has a gentle gradient and is safe for children.


Please be aware that we have been advised by Owners Direct that if we wish to continue to use their site then we would have to use the on-line booking system. Owners Direct then charge you the client an extra booking fee. Obviously, this is an option you can use but I suggest you email me direct on to communicate with me direct.


Nearest airport is Malaga 30 minutes easy drive.


The area is abundant with andulacian white villages. The beautiful Lake Vinuela and natural parks are only a short drive away. The historic city of Malaga with it's Picasso Museum is amazing along with Granada, Seville and Cordoba as they are all within driving distance. Bustling Nerja with its famous caves and Balcon de Europa is only 15 minutes drive away.

Further Details:

Caleta has numerous shops, banks, chemist, butchers, internet cafe, bakers restaurants and tapas bars etc. it also has a Saturday market. A Gymnasium 'Fitness Forum' has recently opened in Caleta - no membership required. There is a large shopping complex 'El Engenio' with cinema and a bowling alley only 10 minute drive away. There is also a water park Aqua Velis nearby, its a great day out for all the family along with Go-carting and a swimming pool situated in Torre del Mar, a short drive from Caleta.
