Perfect home for a your holiday

Walking distance to the beach, close to the highway, parking place in front... Fully equipped kitchen, clean rooms and bathroom.

All in all, nothing was missing.

I'm fully satisfied with this apartment.

Fabulous break in lovely apartment

We found the apartment suited our needs for a quiet relaxing break in the sun in January. The rooftop pool and terrace was clean and often we were the only people in it. We have visited Puerto de Mogan before for a day on previous visits to Gran Canaria and had been keen to stay there as we love the harbour and the town. It definitely met our expectations. We took a trip into Mogan Town too one evening very easy on the bus.

Relaxing break in Puerto Mogan

Our party of two adults and three children spent a fabulous half term week in Puerto Mogan in Andrea's apartment. Andrea was incredibly helpful throughout the booking process, responding quickly and helpfully to email queries. He picked us up on our arrival, showed us around the apartment and provided us with a brand new high-chair for our newly sitting baby.

The apartment itself was very comfortable and spacious, and even though it was so near to the beach and the harbour, it was incredibly quiet. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the large Spa downstairs meant that we were able to eat cheaply at home when we chose, with a variety of fresh and tasty ingredients at our fingertips. The pool on the roof made swimming with children so easy, and as others have said, we were often the only users.

The town was lovely and suited us perfectly - if you want clubs and lots of nightlife it's probably not for you, but if you want a quiet meal in a lovely restaurant and a drink or two in a small bar, this is the place for you. There were restaurants catering to every taste and budget, and several choices for ice-cream or crepes too! The beach was pretty busy at high tide and in the afternoons, but we had a lovely morning swim one day when we were the only ones there (hopefully we didn't disturb the tranquility of a small group practising yoga on the sea wall with our squeals!).

For us this was the perfect half-term break, and we look forward to returning one day (if we can all five fit in as the baby grows bigger....).

Great location, lovely apartment, super pool

My wife and our two daughters had a superb holiday in Gran Canaria, and really pleased we decided to stay in Puerto de Mogan, which is fantastic, and classy. Lots of nice Restaurants around the beach and Marina. We hired a car for our two weeks holiday, so we could explore the Island, but it's not necessary as the Bus stop can be seen from the apartment and there are lots of taxis. Andrea was very helpful during our booking, on arrival and during our stay. 5 Stars. Thanks Andrea for your help. Best wishes Mark, Lynne, Lauren and Sophie.

Highly Recommend

Beautiful location with some incredible restaurants. The apartment had everything that we needed and more, with a pool on the roof that we had to ourselves most of the time. Shops are a stone's throw away and close enough to stumble home after a few drinks without being close enough to hear the noise. Would highly recommend and Andrea was the perfect host. We would definitely stay again. Thank you Andrea!

Puerta de Mogan holiday

We really enjoyed our stay in this smart apartment. It's in a 3 storey block located a stones throw from the small town.The apartment was very clean and the owner lives very close by and came round within minutes when we has a problem with a light fitment. The local grocery shop is a very smart SPAR and the best Spar we have ever shopped at. You could live quite cheaply if you want to buy fresh and cook at the apartment as the shop and kitchen facilities were excellent. We only ate in one evening and then we bought warm spicy chicken and Canaria potatoes already prepared from the Spar - Fab! The restaurants around the beach offered lots of variety and we really liked the Steak House towards the end of the promenade where the waiter could entertain different customers with all the languages he could speak.It did encouraged us to have a go at speaking Spanish. Our absolute favourite restaurant was Basil's Bistro by the harbour. We went back for our final evening and ordered the mixed Paella (pae'y'a) again! The service is very welcoming and the desserts enormous, they also serve the best cappuccino coffee. There is a lovely pool on the roof with umbrellas and sun-beds, and if you are lucky you get it to yourself!

I would really recommend The Blue Marling boat trip as we saw lots of dolphins and the skipper prepared us a nice BBQ. There was just 12 of us (3 families of 4) and everyone really got on.The bus service was also very good but you do need a head for heights if you take a bus following the coastal road! I would definitely recommend this apartment and this fishing town to anyone looking for a lovely chilled beach holiday.

Activity and Interests


The nearest sandy beach is Puerto de Mogan a four to five minute walk from our apartment. Puerto de Mogan has an idyllic marina harbour with excellent restaurants and a labyrinth of pretty flowered walkways. The next recommended sandy beach is either Taurito in the next bay or at Amadores, just outside Puerto Rico, a 20-25 minute drive away.


Las Palmas airport is approximately a 45 minute drive and we can arrange private transfers from and to the airport if desired with one of our excellent licensed drivers. Depending on how you choose to spend your holiday, car hire is not essential because you can walk everywhere if you just wish to remain in Puerto de Mogan to relax.


Mogan town is 10 minutes away by car. Arguineguin is a Canarian fishing village with a good market on Tuesdays and is about a 12 minute drive. The island's capital city Las Palmas is great for shopping and has a splendid beach and promenade and can be reached in well under an hour by car.

Further Details:

Supermarkets, shops, restaurants, banks, chemist and the local post office are easily reached on foot. The apartment has a house book listing specific and general information. Boat trips and fishing are popular in Puerto de Mogan and walks in the surrounding area. Some restaurants and bars have live music on certain evenings of the week. A small note on our climate. Puerto Mogan, ideally positioned in a sheltered valley, is blessed with one of the finest year-round climates in Europe. In the winter months the days are wonderfully sunny with temperatures in the high seventies and early eighties. In the summer - far from being too hot for comfort - the sun is higher in the sky, the temperatures are of course higher but the heat produced is dry, not humid, and you are cooled by the lovely light sea breezes. The long summer evenings are pleasantly warm and perfect for lazy relaxation on a terrace with a jug of cold sangria or a bottle or two of white wine.

  • Notes on accommodation: Our apartment is equipped with air-conditioning and is situated on the second (top) floor and has a lift. There is off-road parking in front of the building for our guests. Outside: The rooftop pool is 8 metres x 5 metres and is heated in the winter months next to which is a large sunbathing area. There is also a toilet and a shower by the pool. The apartment has a large private terrace with table, chairs and 2 sun-loungers and due to its ideal east-facing position has the benefit of sun from breakfast time to late afternoon. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included and cleaning and change of towels and linen is weekly. Continental quilts are used on all beds.
