Car: not necessary


To reach the beach at Cabanas it could not be easier, a 5 minute walk to the waterfront, then a 3 minute boat ride to the beautiful island beach, which has EC Blue Flag status with excellent swimming.


Faro airport is a 40 mins drive, a taxi cost about 50 euros.


Tavira 10 mins drive, Seville is 1hr 30 mins drive, and the train station & bus stop are 10 mins walk: trains go from here to Faro, Lisbon, or east to Vila Real Santo Antonio on the Spanish border.

You will find everything you need in village: local shops, daily fruit and veg, & fish market, supermarkets, banks, ATM'S, bars and very good restraurants.

  • Notes on accommodation: The apartment has central heating, and ceiling fans in the lounge and both bedrooms. Smoking: For the comfort of all our guests we ask that there is no smoking in the apartment except on the terrace. Outside: There are 2 large terraces, one leads from the living area and the bedroom and has a large table and chairs, and BBQ. From here there are steps to the roof terrace which also has a table and chairs, 4 sun loungers, where you can watch the sun come up and go down. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen and towels are provided, for each let.
