Villa with 5 bedrooms & 5 bathrooms sleeping up to 10 persons (plus sofa bed)

Las Terrazas is an outstanding, architect-designed villa sleeping up to 10 people. Built (2010) in a traditional Andalucian style around a central Patio, it enjoys stunning views across the Mediterranean looking towards the African coast.

Furnished by interior designers and featuring lighting and furniture from Morocco, the villa is the second home of the owners and is furnished and equipped to a very high standard, far surpassing that normally found in holiday rental properties. There is air-conditioning throughout as well as under-floor heating for the cooler months.

Features include a double height lounge with open fireplace and galleried library; master bedroom suite with private solarium and jacuzzi; four further bedrooms, three of which have ensuite shower rooms and separate dressing rooms as well as access to their own furnished terrace.

There is a cinema room with Bose surround sound, multi-channel TV, Blueray Player, Apple TV (with Netflix) and Playstation 4 as well as a well-equipped gym (also with TV) and a small sauna. In addition there is a mini-grand electric piano, pool table, table tennis and a selection of board games. Guests also have access to the communal tennis court. Last but not least, the terraced, landscaped gardens feature a huge 14m x 11m max heated salt-water swimming pool and a gazebo with superb gas BBQ.

There is high speed internet with WIFI in the public areas, an alarm system and video entry system. The community has its own security service with patrol cars providing a high level of security.

Las Terrazas was incredible. The villa is decorated so beautifully and tastefully with elegant Maroccan Andalucian accent. It had everything you could imagine, from the library to the movie room! Very well maintained and we were glad to find commodities ready on our arrival. The view was spectacular overlooking the Mediterranean to the African coast. It was near awesome places to visit! We really enjoyed the local beach, Marbella, Granada, Ronda and even Gibraltar. The landscape, is amazing, perfect, as the whole property. The owner, Linda was very helpful and available.   • All bathrooms are spacious and beautifully tiled with Trevatino tiles in the master ensuite. They all have double sinks with mirror over and fitted cabinets below, WC and bidet. Bathroom 3 has a bath with shower over. All the others have large walk in tiled showers with quality glass screens. All bathrooms except bathroom 2 have underfloor heating. There is a heated towel rail in the master bathroom. There is a 2 person hot tub spa on the solarium opposite the master bedroom ensuite which has moto-massage jets.

  • The master bedroom occupies the whole of the first floor and includes a large dressing area, ensuite shower room and private solarium with jacuzzi. It has a high vaulted, beamed ceiling with chandelier and matching wall lights and full length glass doors with Juliet balcony offering magnificent sea views. The other four bedrooms are on the basement level. Two have patio doors opening onto a separate furnished terrace. Three have furnished dressing areas (furniture hand made in Bali) and beautifully tiled ensuites (double sinks, WC, bidet). The fourth has use of a separate large shower room (separate so it can be used when the gym or cinema room are in use). There is a sofa bed in the cinema room but the maximum occupancy is 10. There is air-conditioning/heating in all bedrooms and underfloor heating in the master bedroom and all bathrooms (except one). All beds have quality mattresses and bedding. 2 travel cots are available.

Notes:
There is a furnished covered terrace off the lounge (with fountain) providing comfortable seating for up to 8 and a dining terrace with electric sun canopy. This overlooks the large, heated, salt-water pool (14m x 11m max). The pool area can be gated off to keep it secure for young children. Pool heating is available for an extra charge and must be booked in advance. There are sunbeds and a BBQ gazebo. Steps from the pool lead down to the lower furnished terrace which is accessible from two of the bedrooms. The private solarium off the master bedroom suite has a hot tub (adults only). In the basement is a well-equipped gym and sauna as well as a cinema room with 2m screen and Bose sound system. The villa has Sky HD (full package) and there is a Blueray Player in the Cinema room. There is a Sonos sound system (bring leads for mp3 players) with portable speakers which can access internet radio. There is free WIFI and also a piano, library, pool table and table tennis table.

A True Oasis

This large and well appointed villa provides a wonderful base for a family and friends wishing to enjoy the Marbella area. You can tell that the owners spend a large part of the year there themselves, given the attention to detail and care taken looking after the place.

Arguably the best aspects of the property are the outdoors areas. The pool is large and much used in Summer months. The various terraces house a professional quality bbq, games (table tennis, pool), quiet sitting spots, and several different places to eat. The garden is lush and full of every fruit tree you can imagine!

It's just a short drive to the local beaches, family ones like Siroko, and sceney ones like Nikki Beach. But you can also walk or run out from the villa and quickly be up in the Sierra's feeling a million miles away from the bustle of the coastal strip.

Certainly recommended!

Stinning villa with amazing amenities

A stunning Andalucian style villa. We were a family of four with two twenty something boys with us. The villa has an enormous landscaped pool, table tennis, gym, pool table and cinema room as well as access to a nearby tennis court so we found ourselves having amazing family time as we relaxed at the villa most days. There are many differing restaurants close by so in the evenings we often visited many beach restaurants . Marbella is close by and the Old Town also has great restaurants.

Our intention to visit many of the cultural sites and even nearby beaches was thwarted by the absolute luxury of the villa and all its amenities.

Perfect for a truly relaxing holiday. The villa has an abundance of wonderful architectural features and the owners are extremely helpful with any queries you might have

We can highly recommend this beautiful villa.

Even better than we expected

My family and our friends had a wonderful stay in Villa Las Terrazas June 2017, everything was prepared well. We stayed there about 3 weeks. Villa was so beautiful, even better than on the actual photos. Villa was kids friendly, pool was separated from house with fence, so our little kids couldn’t get through by themselves. Pool itself was absolutely huge and rooms were well situated. Common areas are lovely and beautifully decorated. Kitchen was fully equipped, which makes cooking so easy. Garden and pool area was stunningly beautiful. Our kids loved that they could pick some fruit from trees. My husband praises the internet, it was really fast and he was able to do some work via internet. Owner Linda was friendly, helpful and always answered quickly to our e-mails. House maintenance staff was also so friendly. These three weeks went by so quickly and it was very sad to leave the house at end of our vacation. This villa grew deeply to our hearts. It was first experience for us to rent a villa, and now the standards are high.

Superb!

We stayed as a family of eight in late may 2017 for one week and had high expectations after drooling over the photos and reading the reviews months before hand and we were not disappointed in any way.

The villa is stunning inside and out,everything you could wish for,in fact it is even better than the photos suggest,i cannot fault a single thing.

The gardens are huge and stretch all around the house and are beautifully kept,lots of different areas to enjoy the sun,it is easy to find a spot all for yourself even with a large family staying at the villa.The covered terrace is a truly relaxing place for a night time drink and a chat,beautifully decorated, fantastic lighting all whilst listening to the music of your choice piped into the room by the Sonos sound system!

The terrace with electric sun canopy overlooking the pool was a delight for evening meals cooked on the very impressive barbecue,just be sure to retract it if the wind picks up.

The jacuzzi quickly became a favourite place for me and i even went into the gym (just to have a look) at the very impressive equipment should one feel the urge to use it!

The kitchen was really well stocked with oils,herbs spices and sauces,rice pasta etc,just need to replace anything if you use it up for the next guests,plenty of cutlery,plates,glasses etc also.

The owners were so helpful in our arrangements after booking and nothing was to much trouble,Linda even put us in touch with a contact to have a birthday cake made for me!

The heated pool of course was a big hit with us all especially my two young nephews,they were in there every chance they had!

Everything was wonderfully clean and fresh,the beds and pillows so comfortable,a real home from home,i would have no trouble recommending this property to family or friends,stay here if you can,you will love it!

We had a great time,thanks so much for letting us stay at Las Terazzas!

Beautiful villa in a great location!

This fantastic villa has everything you'll need for a great vacation, the pool is huge and the grounds are stunning, complete with orchard!

Situated in a lovely area very peaceful which felt completely safe with a really good selection of restaurants nearby and the beach if you can bear to tear yourself away from the pool.......can't wait to go back again!!

Words cannot describe

Las Terrazas was just amazing. The photos cannot show the beauty of this property. The grounds are just stunning and the views of the ocean from several rooms in the home spectacular. It was so relaxing to sit outside and hear the ocean and when the weather was cooler to sit in the glass enclosed sun room to read. We walked to the beach for lunch at the open air restaurant right on the ocean for the freshest seafood around. The location is amazing since you can visit several different areas in two hours or less. We visited Granada and Alhambra and spent a day in Mijas. The owner, Linda Ridgeon, was so helpful before our trip and gave us so much information. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

Las Terrazas is situated in Hacienda Las Chapas, an exclusive urbanisation of luxury villas, which is only 10 minutes drive from the beautiful resort town of Marbella and less than 5 minutes drive (or a 30 minute walk) from some of the best beaches on the Andalucian coast. At the heart of Marbella is its charming historic old town, a myriad of narrow, cobbled streets and alleyways which are filled with stylish shops, bars and restaurants. Alternatively, stroll along the lovely seafront promenade, lined with tapas bars, chiringuitos and beach restaurants. Another 10 minutes drive brings you to Puerto Banus, probably the most famous port and tourist enclave in Southern Europe and a magnet for the rich and famous. Closer to home is the smaller resort of Elviria, just 5 minutes by car and offering many excellent restaurants, bars, shops and supermarkets or the pretty port of Cabopino. Hacienda Las Chapas also has its own supermarket (open 365 days).

Golf: There are numerous golf clubs in the immediate vacinity the nearest being Santa Maria Golf & Country Club in Elviria, Greenlife and the Marbella Golf are within a 10 minute drive. Further information available on request.
