The villa is fully equipped with every modern amenity and appliance for your convenience and comfort. It is situated in the quiet urbanisation of Ladera del Aguila on the approach to the Caves of Nerja, an area with Its own bars and restaurants, set against a backdrop of beautiful mountain scenery and the national park. It is not far to Nerja's busy centre but nearer our home there is the sleepy village Maro which has around eight bars/restaurants and a couple of small supermarkets and shops. It has its own beach and a mini 'Balcon' set in front of the pretty village church. In Nerja itself there's an abundance of shops, restaurants and bars and five beaches which offer sunbed and parasol hire, pedalos and other water sports, all within a few minutes drive from the villa. Our 5 seater Peugeot 206SW estate or 7 seat Renault Grand Scenic, according to party size, is free for use by guests as a facility of the villa, for the duration of their stay. It is delivered to meet you on arrival at the airport doors (drivers must be age 25+). Full Details on cars and pick up are provided with your final joining instructions.

Notes on accommodation: All three bedrooms have air-conditioning. Internet access is available throughout the villa for a small fee in advance or PAYGO once there. ITV,BBC, C4 and Sky package of channels including Movies and Sky Sports is usually available via our TV boxes though reception cannot be guaranteed. Outside: The private outdoor swimming pool is 22' x 10' and ranges from 3' to 5' deep. There is a full range of patio furniture including sun loungers alongside the pool and on the other two terraces. The roof top terrace is above the master bedroom, whilst there is a lower level sun deck inside the private walled garden. Utility Room: Our recently created Utility / Casita area has washing machine, iron, ironing board, dustpans, brushes, buckets and mops and stores spare gas bottles and gas supply to kitchen hob. etc. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bedlinen and bath towels are included and changed weekly. Cleaning at the end of your stay is also included. Other: There is hard standing parking to the front of the villa and a substantial integral garage under the main building. There are various bicycles in the garage for guests to use.

This property is outstanding in many ways.

This was the third time we have stayed in this outstanding villa located in Maro which itself is very much a true spanish place. The villa is like home from home with all the extras making it a perfect holliday retreat. Ann and Terry where very helpful providing us with a information package this

includes details of where to pick up the car at the airport (car at no extra cost). the property has three air-conditioned bedrooms and three bathrooms all of generous size this being the perfect base for a family holliday. Outside includes a swimming pool and terrace there is also another terrace westerly facing to enjoy the evening sun ideal for bbqs (built in charcoal type). The car which is included can be parked in the drive off road. Our main reason for staying in this villa is it's closeness to the stunning town of nerja. It's a five minute drive, bus or taxi to the centre of Nerja. Plenty of supermarkets, restaurants, bars etc. The main attraction is the stunning Balcon de Europa having a fantastic family atmosphere. So many wonderful places to eat with views of the Mediterranean. Several beaches which Our small grandchildren loved with plenty going on pedalos kayak's and parascending. Famous paella restaurants Inc the fantastic one on Burriana beach not to missed. We did visit the caves at Maro (5mins walk from villa) gorgeous white washed town frigilana, also nearby Algarobbo and Torrox Pueblo. For children a visit to Aquavelis water park Torre del Mar is a must. We have in the past travelled further a field to Marbella and Puerto Banus both outstanding places. We have already booked again for next year we would recommend this villa to anybody it's perfect in every way giving a holiday to remember each time. Many thanks to Ann and Terry who make all the effort to insure our stay is a fantastic one.

Brilliant Villa

I usually book a rural villa however this year i decided to look for something with close by amenities. I found Ann and Terry’s villa by chance. Our hosts were brilliant from beginning to end. They kept in touch before we arrived and made sure we had directions to the villa and also that we knew where to collect the car which was also included in this brilliant package. We have visited this area on many occasions and I must say this is one of the best villas we have visited..You are very close to the caves and a 5/10 minute stroll to the lovely village of Maro which has a few bars and restaurants. You are also either a short drive or taxi ride to Nerja which is gorgeous. The villa is perfect,you have the pool,barbeque and everything you could possibly need. Ann and Terry are lovely and Terry even took the time to call us when I texted a question about the air conditioning . We enjoyed it so much we booked for next year whilst we were still there on holiday. I would highly recomthis place,you will have a brilliant time and I will be returning time and time again. Thanks for allowing us to have a lovely holiday at your villa. Looking forward to next year.

Thank You so much for the use of your home. We had a wonderful holiday, the kids loved the pool and it was hard to get them out a lot at times! The car was fantastic as it gave us the freedom to do our own thing. The villa is beautiful, you have it so well decorated and kept to a high standard... and we loved all the helpful little dymo stickers with instructions for everything! We really would like to stay again and thank you for finding a slot for us around Easter next year. We are already looking forward to it. As I am writing this it is raining and the heating is on, its a far cry from our time in Nerja.''

Superb Family Villa

Fantastic villa very private.

Fantastic villa in great location you can see the sea in front and mountains behind you it is peaceful and private just what we wanted there are two terraces to each side of the villa so you can keep in or out of the sun. The villa was very clean and definitely well looked after the bathrooms looked brand new and the bedrooms are large with the benefit of air conditioning for keeping cool during the night. The lounge is very comfortable with a large TV and ample channels to watch if needed all with instructions for use and the kitchen is very well equipped with a huge fridge with an ice maker brilliant no buying bags of ice. Terry and Ann have been extremely helpful with everything from booking the villa to making sure we were okay when we were there and getting home. The car was a great asset for us it meant we could meet our friends and get to town and the beach without calling taxis and going to get the shopping was easy and the service for collecting the car and dropping it of at the airport was excellent. We would definitely recommend this villa we have been to a few now and this one ticked all the boxes for us. The restaurants are varied and many our favourite was Brussels on the burriana beach fantastic mussels and steaks.

The beach in Maro is a few minutes drive, it has one restaurant which serves typical spanish cuisine. There are five beaches in Nerja (about 5-10 min drive depending on which beach). The main beach is the Burianna, where you will find plenty of watersports and activities offered including introductory scuba diving and day cruises along the coast. You will also find plenty of restaurants, bars and a variety of small tourist shops along here.


Malaga Airport is appoximately a 45 minute drive.

Our Car is available for you to collect at the Airport to take you to our holiday home in Maro. Like our other villa facilities it is , of course, for you to use throughout your stay at our home.(You only pay for fuel). The car must be returned to the airport by 12 noon unless special arrangements have been agreed beforehand, so that it is available for arriving guests after this time too.


Granada - Alhambra Palace is just over an hours drive from Nerja. Inland lake Vinuela - beautiful blue lagoon surrounded by mountains is worth a trip (about 30 min drive). Two Aqua Parks - one at Torre Del Mar (about 15 min drive) and one at Almunecar (about 15 min drive). Frigiliana, a nearby village was voted prettiest village in Spain.

Further Details:

The village of Maro has all the basic needs like small supermarkets, bars, restaurants, church and post office. There are larger supermarkets in Nerja itself and lots of gift shops, boutiques etc. Also in Nerja you will find banks and exchange shops to change your currency. Nerja also holds a large market on a Tuesday morning.

We require a deposit of £75 per week for bookings Oct - April and £125 per week for bookings May - Sept. The balance is payable 10 weeks prior to departure.

Changeover Day:
Changeover days are normally weekend during mid and peak season but flexible during the low season.
Arrival and departure times can also be flexible but we usually ask you to vacate the villa by 10.00am.

Notes on prices:
Long Winter lets from £275 per week. Prices shown are for the property per week in UK Pounds based on 6 people. Please note that the above prices include the free use of our car which is available for collection at the airport. Prices for Bank Holidays are subject to £50 pw extra charge.
