Situated in a quiet area of Pueblo Patricia the location is excellent for holidays, permanent residence or long term rental and is less than 100 meters from 2 new supermarkets and close to shops, banks, restaurants, 2 other supermarkets and within 5 - 10 minutes walk to a beautiful beach and promenade.

Coast/Beach:

Sea temperatures are 5 deg C above the Mediterranean Sea temperature and with its shallow tide less waters is ideal for safe bathing for families and a wide range of water sport facilities. It is a 10 minute walk from the apartment to the beach.

Travel:

Los Alcazares is less than a ten-minute drive away from Murcia/San Javier international airport, which has frequent flights to and from many European destinations. Alicante airport offers even more flights and destinations and is around 50 minutes drive away.

Distances:

Los Alcazares is well connected to the recently upgraded Spanish motorway network and Murcia (the regions administrative centre) is around 24 kilometres north west and Cartagena around 27 kilometres south, both old Moorish cities and well worth visiting for their shops, architecture and history. A 40 minute drive north will take you to Elche`s vast shopping complex where you can buy locally made shoes at vastly reduced prices and a 20 minute drive north to Torrevieja is an aqua park.

Los Alcazares is an old fishing town in the region of South Eastern Spain also known as Costa Calida and is on the western shore of the Mar Manor, separated from the Mediterranean sea by a narrow 22 kilometre long strip of land called La Manga, forming a mineral rich water lagoon, renowned for its health giving properties.

A new Marina is now completed with restaurants and bars and you can stroll along the 7 kilometres of coastline which is divided in to 7 beaches all connected with a magnificent promenade lined with palm trees and numerous cafes, restaurants and bars all dotted around the coast.

Weekly street markets are available, ever day in the area, all year round, which offer many bargains and fresh produce from the fertile country side inland, which typically enjoys 320 days of glorious sunshine per year.

Los Alcazares is becoming an increasingly popular resort with plenty of restaurants, bars, shops and sports activities and is well worth a visit.

  • Notes on accommodation: Sunchairs are available in a storage box on the balcony for your use around the 3 swimming pools. The storage box is locked and a key is available on the key ring given to you by our apartment manager. Outside: Patio doors lead out of the apartment onto the pleasant balcony, which overlooks the pools. The balcony has a table and chairs and faces south which catches the sun most of the day. The pool is private and for use of the guests in Puerto Marina only. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels/linen are provided and the apartment is cleaned before and after your stay. There is a washing machine in the apartment if you choose to wash the towels/linen during your stay. Other: There is also a 37inch HD flat screen TV with English channels (bring your own SKY card from home and you will receive most of the channels you are currently receiving.) We also have a safe where you can keep your money and valuables.
