Situated in La Plana natural park, private and quiet but with easy access to Javea town for restaurants and bars. Detached property with large private gardens including an outhouse with traditional pizza oven and barbecue area. The villa has three bedrooms, an open plan living and kitchen area,a dining room and a bathroom. The villa benefits from air conditioning and a wood burner for the winter.

About Kate Frankish

Lee and I live in Edinburgh and have two teenage daughters. We love Javea and have been so lucky to be able to enjoy our second home in such a beautiful setting. Our girls have grown up with a great understanding of Spanish culture, language and tradition. We have family who live in a nearby village, Benitachell and spend wonderful summers and winter holidays with them. Many families have enjoyed our villa and we hope you do too. Its a great location for a family with very private gardens and pool and a short car journey into Javea or Denia town.

We both have very demanding jobs and find the location and pace of life in Javea is a fantastic way to wind down and relax.

Why Kate Frankish chose Jávea

The villa has everything you need for a great holiday. Its in a quiet location with Spanish neighbours but is only a short car journey into Javea or Denia for restaurants, bars and beaches. The villa is open plan and designed around family life. Our gardens with private pool, barbecue and pizza oven, provide everything you need for outside living, including a fridge for cool drinks by the pool. There is a music system with a dock for phones/Ipods. There is also an outside shower, providing a cool option when its very hot. There are areas of shade such as our lovely front porch, where you can relax and read a book or eat meals in the shade. We have air conditioning and a log burner for the winter nights - which can get cold. La Plana is an area of real beauty and walks and cycles around the villa are fantastic.

Notes on accommodation: Heating is provided by warm air, air conditioning in the winter along with a large log burning stove in the living room area. Outside: The villa has a large patio to the front, mainly used for breakfasting and evening drinks. There is a table with 6 chairs on this patio. To the rear of the property there is a large table under a gazebo with 6 chairs for outside dining. The outhouse with barbecue and pizza oven also houses a drinks fridge and pool toys. The pool is 8 x4m and there are sun loungers placed around the pool for your use. Utility Room: External utility cupboards including a washing machine, cleaning cupboard and hot water boiler. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels for inside use and all linen is included. The villa will be cleaned for your arrival and on your departure. Other: Dining room to sit 6 people with matching dresser and views over the pool and back gardens. As there is no mobile signal available at the villa, there is a phone for local and emergency calls with an honesty box to store payment for calls.

Lovely villa in a great location

Great experience. We arrived late on Saturday night and Kate had arranged for milk, bread etc. to be there for us on arrival which was very helpful. She responded quickly and promptly to all queries. The villa is in a great setting on the edge of a nature reserve and was very secluded and peaceful. The outdoor space was beautiful with a lovely pool. We were 4 adults and one 15 yr old and the villa was spacious enough for all of us. Would definitely go back there.

Lovely location, and nice villa with excellent facilities.

Close enough to the airport, close to towns (assuming hire car) and close to good beaches. Great relaxing time, and enjoyed the local wildlife occasionally visiting us (dragonflies, rabbits, small lizards, Owl, Swallows, bats). Gardens and pool were tip top, and regularly maintained discreetly. All in all we had a really good holiday at this villa, and will be looking to book again.

Amazing Villa

We had an amazing holiday. The spacious villa has everything you could possibly need for a fabulously relaxing stay. There are lovely walks and drives nearby with incredible views. The Pier and Arenal areas have great restaurants and bars. We are already planning another stay!

The villa was bright, spacious and really pretty. The owner thought of everything you could need.

I really recommend this property. We had so much space and everything was provided so we could cater for ourselves. The setting and the property itself were really pretty.

The owner was great to deal with and she came back straight away in response to any questions we had. The instructions she sent were really clear as well.

There are good beaches in both Javea and Denia, which are both approximatley 10 minutes drive from the villa. Javea has a pebble beach in the old town and a sandy beach with play parks and sun loungers for hire in the new town.


Alicante and Valencia airports can both be used and are both approximatley 1 hours drive from the villa.


Javea and Denia towns are both 10 minutes drive from the villa.

There are many spectacular walks within La Plana Natural park and the surrounding areas. Terramitica (Paramount Pictures fun park) and Aqualandia (aqua park) are both 1/2 and hours drive away and provide good family fun in clean and well maintained environments.

Further Details:

Javea and Denia provide good access for shopping, banks, excellent restaurants, bars and supermarkets. Around the villa there are a couple of restaurants within walking distance.
