Apartment in Cala Vinyes, Majorca, Spain - Peaceful Location, Overlooking the Pool and Beach

Large two bedroom and two bathroom apartment, in superb location. Sleeps 5 people. Large terrace overlooking the well manicured gardens swimming pool and with a sea view. There is a large swimming pool pool and the beach is a short stroll away. The beach has won a quality award .Situated in quiet resort yet within easy access to Palma, Santa Ponsa, Magaluf, Palma Nova. 15 mins from airport.

The apartment is fully equipped for an enjoyable stay, washing machine ,

English TV etc .Suitable for everyone, couples, families with small children and teenagers. This resort has something for everyone within walking distance.

There are a handful of eating places close by. Bars and hotels with entertainment and a lovely beach bar offering snacks and cocktails.

There's a children's play area on the beach.

I live in England with my husband and our twin boys. We both work, but spend most of our holidays in Spain, where we have made many friends.

We find the resort ideal for us as its quiet and peaceful but within easy access to many interesting and livelier places if required.

Why Karen Hayes chose Calvia - Andratx Region

We orginaly stayed in the Cala Vinyes hotel whilst visiting our friends who had been living on Mallorca for 10 years.

When we decided to buy our own property we remembered how much we liked the area and how these apartments were in a fantastic location with a lovely swimming pool and direct access to the beach.

Our parents and other family members have all had fantastic times in the apartment and we also come along with friends as often as possible.

There are friendly bars and restaurants on the doorstep if required. Its also great to chill and relax in the evening on the terrace with a large glass or three of wine.

What makes this apartment unique

The view from the terrace overlooking the pool and sea is just wonderful.

Surrounded by well tendered gardens the pool is a must and the sea/beach is just through the garden.

The apartment is on ground level and therefore very easy for access for the less mobile and young children.

There is a ramp if required for wheelchairs down to the pool.

What a fabulous location, our 3 year old son loved the pool.

Notes on accommodation: Spacious accommodation suitable for all ages in an up market resort. The large terrace overlooks the private pool and well manicured lawns. A path leads directly to the sandy cove with beach bar. The complex, gardens and pool are beautifully maintained. Cots and high chairs can be rented if required. The apartment and complex are suitable for families and for couples. Outside: The apartment is set in well manicured lawned gardens. Large pool shared with other apartment owners.The complex is for apartment owners and guests only. Very private and well maintained. A path leads to the palm tree fringed beach which is renowned for its lovely sandy beach and gentle slope into the sea. The beach is patrolled by a lifeguard. There is a children's play area at the rear of the beach as well as a snack/drinks bar.Sun loungers are available for hire on the beach. Utility Room: Washing machine in bathroom. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels provided (not beach). The apartment will be cleaned before and after your stay. Additional bedding available. Additional maid service available at a reasonable rate if required. Can also arrange for cots, highchairs etc. Other: Large terrace with sunloungers overlooking pool and Cala Vinyes bay.

fantastic stay

Great property in a lovely location. Spoke with the owner on a few occasions and she supplied written information on places to visit and places to eat. Being out of season the weather didnt allow us to take advantage of the large terrace and fabulous pool, but we will be back in the summer.

Superb holiday

Excellent service from the owner we dealt with, she was very helpful and always quick to reply to any questions. The apartment was very clean and well maintained in lovely gardens and an excellent pool. We would definitely recommend this apartment and will be back.

Car: not necessary


The apartment is directly overlooking a small sandy cove, fringed with Palm Trees. Approximately 3 mins walk through the gardens.


Palma Airport is approximately 20 mins via car/taxi. Taxi costs vary depending on the amount of luggage but should be around 35 euros. All taxis are metered but agree a price first with the driver. collection from the airport can be arranged if required.


Situated in a quiet location but with easy access to the following: 2 waterparks, Pirates (evening entertainment),Go Karts, Golf Fantasia, shopping and sight-seeing in Palma, Marineland.

Further Details:

There are two small supermarkets in the village which sell most groceries. There are a few restaurants, Chinese, pizza, Spanish, English. There is also a 4 star hotel where you can drink/dine watch the entertainment. This also has a beauty spa. In the village there is also a car hire facility, internet cafe and a hairdresser. We can arrange for the hire (at a charge) mobility scooters, pushchairs, baby monitors, sterilising equipment, car seats and cots.

I will try to be as flexible as possible with changeover dates and with access times and departure times. It may be necessary to be specific in high season to meet as many requirements and keep as many people as happy as possible!
