Quiet Location, Pool View, Wi-Fi ,5-10 minute walk to Sandy Beach, Bars, Restaurants and Supermarkets

Our holiday apartment is situated on the lower level of the complex in a peaceful location. (The ground level provides free undercover parking for residents only). The Apartment and has been extremely well furnished with particular attention having being given towards families with children.

Additional Air Conditioning units have been installed to both bedrooms making the Apartment fully Airconditioned/heated in all areas.

Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes, Bedroom one having a King size bed and Bedroom 2 having a single bed and bunk beds which are suitable for use by both Adults or children.

We have a Travel cot and a highchair which are available at no additonal cost. We also have a bed guard which can be attached on to the single bed making it ideal for toddlers.

The Bathroom is fully tiled and has a Toilet, Bidet, and Bath/Shower. In addition to the Bathroom each Apartment has its own designated downstairs shower room which is separate to the Apartment and is ideal for use when relaxing by the pool or can be used as a second bathroom. It has a toilet, basin and shower in it and provides storage for the Apartments 5 sun beds which are exclusively for use by our guests. There is also a selection of childrens beach toys for use which stored here too.

Wifi has been installed in the Apartment for 2015 and there is 32 inch T.V with Chromecast which enables viewing of Uk T.V programmes via U-Tube.

We also have a good selection of childrens videos and DVD's to keep your little ones amused.

The Apartment has a large terrace which is fully enclosed and overlooks the pool area. The terrace area has a lockable gate to the steps down to the pool. The pool has a separate shallow childrens section.

The pool area provides both terraced and grassy areas for sunbathing with areas of natural shade being provided by pine trees. There are plenty of sunny areas giving the choice to suit all tastes.

The Apartment has been fully equipped with everything you will need for a relaxing self catering holiday. The Apartment has a fridge/freezer, Dishwasher, Washing machine and Cooker Hob and Microwave.

The large south facing terrace has built in brick BBQ area making it ideal for eating outside. There is a large parasol available to compliment the outdoor dining table an chairs.

The safe Blue Flag sandy beach is a 5-10 minute stroll away through pines and sand dunes. Pedaloes and Canoes are available for hire as are Sunbeds and Parasols. There are 2 Beach bars one at either end of the Beach which provide light meals and ice creams etc. The beach has a lifeguard in attendance is peak season.

Son Parc offers a good selection of bars and restaurants as well as several supermarkets, all of which are within a 5 minute walk. The choice of Restaurants should suit all tastes from English to Spanish and a Chinese which you can eat in or take away.

There are childrens play areas within easy reach of the Apartment and a Woodland Park with various play equipment for use suitable for children over the age of 6 or 7.

Car and Bike hire are available locally for those who wish to explore the Island.

There is a good local bus service to Mahon and other neighbouring resorts.

Son Parc is the home of the only Golf Course on the island. The course is 18 holes and has a driving range. Equipment for both Golf and Tennis is available for hire from the Club House which is about a 15 minute walk from the Apartment.

Lovely apartment, love

We had a fabulous relaxing week in Son Parc. The apartment was clean and very well equipped.

The apartment is just a few steps away from the pool which the kids practically lived in. Lots of inflatables for them to use. They also enjoyed the play park in the woods which is just down the road.

Erica the owner is very informative and answered any questions we had very efficiently.

The area is very quiet in September and we liked that. There are a few bars and a couple of Spar shops which sold most things. The kids had the pool to themselves on several occasions.

We hired a car which was helpful to get to the larger supermarkets. We also got to see other parts of the island which was nice.

Would we recommend this apartment? - YES!

Would we return to this apartment? - YES!

Very nice, clean apartment. Great beach close by.

We really enjoyed our time in Menorca, and found the apartment to be a great location to tour the island from. It's a quieter area than some others, which we appreciated. There are a few shops/bars/restaurants within walking distance, and the beach at Son Parc is fabulous. The apartment had everything we needed, and the terrace is very big. The only slight let down was on a couple of evenings when the neighbour in apartment 7 was watching some action movies with the patio door open and the TV volume up at a ridiculous level, forcing us to move inside. This went on until after 11pm. Also, this neighbour (or more likely, her partner) seems to enjoy smoking a certain substance, and the smell from our terrace was extremely strong.

Wonderful relaxing family holiday

When we arrived we immediately felt at home., the apartment was exactly as advertised, it was clean and equipped with everything we needed to relax straight away and begin our holiday. We have two daughters aged ten and twelve who absolutely loved the pool which was kept very clean all throughout our stay. The balcony is very spacious with an amazing view , it has a lovely brick built barbecue and plenty of seating and recliners to relax on, the kitchen is also well equipped which enabled us to spend most evenings just relaxing and eating some lovely home cooked meals with supplies bought from the well stocked local supermarkets, which are within walking distance, or there are plenty of Hypermarkets from which some lovely local produce can be purchased (you may need a car to get to these). We also found having chromecast a godsend as the girls could chill and watch T.V. in the evenings if they were particularly tired. The local beach is only 10 minutes walk away and we thought it was perfect, the water is shallow and safe for playing in. There is also a waterpark within walking distance ( you will need to wear suitable footwear to get there) which is a fun day out. If you are looking for a relaxing family break I would highly recommend this apartment as the location is also perfect as it is away from any nightlife but still within walking distance of a few bars and restaurants. We will definitely consider returning in the future.

Great apartment located in a beautiful area

On arrival everything was as expected. Apartment was clean, tidy and well equipped. Liz (looks after apartment for Erica) was a great help and had got some shopping sorted as we arrived late evening. She also sorted out extra pillows during our stay. Pool was excellent and only a few steps from apartment. Downstairs WC/shower room was a massive bonus especially when you have two boys who enjoy massive pool inflatables i.e. we had somewhere to store the 6ft Croc. Apartment was situated in residential area with Menorcan neighbours. BBQ great and we used it repeatedly during our stay. 5 minutes walk to Son Parc 'strip' which is the main restaurant area. We however only ate once in Son Parc and went to the Pinomar. We also ate in Fornells (repeatedly) as the restaurant's were excellent. Son Parc beach was surprisingly very natural for a developed area and had something for everyone. Our youngest really enjoyed making sand forts and the water was very shallow for him to play in. The snorkelling was also excellent for all abilities. Would really recommend hiring one of the paddle boats but do it on a calm day. Would also highly recommend hiring a car during your stay as it gives you a lot of flexibility to go on day trips around the island (everywhere is only max 40mins away - we went to Lithica Quarry, Cales Coves, La Mola Fort, Megalithic sites etc etc) and also allowed us to shop frequently to get fresh produce in Es Mercadel (Spar supermarket which was very adequate for our needs). Car also meant we could visit Fornells for the restaurants, the natural ice creams...yum yum!!! and we also wen t on boat trip with Aquataxis from Fornells....can't recommend doing this enough as it was a highlight for our holiday. Wifi in apartment was a real bonus especially for the kids and was relatively fast. TV channels very limited and after a few attempts we gave up as the satellite signal was very poor however this was actually a good thing. The only reason we have not given five stars is that the apartment backs directly onto another complex pool (Ses Fonts) and was very noisy some nights up to 1.30am which did affect our sleep. All in all we had a great time staying in this apartment and really enjoyed Menorca.

Owner's Response: Thank you for submitting such a detailed review we are so glad that you had a super holiday. I'm sorry that you found the complex behind ours noisy at times at night, we have never experienced this during any of our stays, or had this mentioned before by other guests. I think that you must have been unlucky with whoever was staying there at the same time so I can only apologise for this. The size of Satellite dish the complex has is no longer big enough to get a strong signal to view English T.V Channels other than Sky News and a few music channels. This was detailed in the information pack sent prior to the Holiday. This is why last year we installed Wifi and a Chromecast to the Apartment to allow T.V to be watched via U-Tube and cast on to the T.V screen. There is detailed information in the Apartment on how to do this. The Apartment also has a DVD and Video player for those who want to watch more T.V whilst away on holiday. I am glad that you explored other parts of the island and hope that you found the information folder within the Apartment helpful in making suggestions of places to visit. Menorca is such a beautiful island with lots to see and do. We hope that if you ever plan a future holiday in Menorca that you will consider staying with us again.

Our apartment was very comfortable and well equipped.

Home from our lovely holiday in Menorca at Son Parc. We were very lucky and had amazing weather. The resort Son Parc, was very quiet and friendly. The supermarkets were well stocked and very helpful, we even ordered our Endaimada pastries every day. The main Son Parc beach (walking distance) was stunning with crystal clear sea and shallow waters, ideal for our 2 year old to run around, splash and play. Whilst my partner and 11 year old son went snorkelling around the coves. We did a couple of day trips; one to a water park, located on the other side of the island- which was thoroughly enjoyed by all, another trip was to a stunning beach called Cala Mitjana South of Ferreries, but the beach car park was closed so we had to walk a fair distance. No facilities, but absolutely stunning and obviously a popular locals beach; they did serve fresh pineapple and coconut which was a highlight! Our apartment was very comfortable and well equipped, we used the welcomed air conditioning at night only. I particularly liked the large veranda which was safe for our 2 year old (as a secure gate and no steps) partly sunny and shaded all day. We ate here all the time and enjoyed the BBQ. The pool was just metres away, with a shallow and deep section, ideal for our family. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this resort and accommodation.

Wonderful relaxing apartment 😀

We had a wonderful two week stay in the apartment at Son Parc. The apartment is in a residential block and the neighbours are very friendly. Our children had a large pool to themselves most days and it is a short walk to the most amazing beach - very shallow, allowing our children (10 & 8) to have the most amazing fun in the water!

Would totally recommend this apartment for anyone wanting a quiet apartment near a few amenities.

We decided to buy an Apartment in Son Parc as we already knew the area and loved the convenience of the resort. Everything from the Beach to the local restaurants and supermarkets are all within walking distance. We also don't like high rise hotels of which there are none within Son Parc. The resort of Son Parc is not over commercialised and provides a good mix of restaurants and bars. From where our Apartment is located you can easily walk across the cliff top path to the neighbouring resort of Arenal where there is a further choice of Restaurants and another super Beach also with Pedaloes and Canoes to hire. The Beach at Son Parc is a glorious crescent of golden sand with crystal clear waters ideal for young children.There are natural sand dunes at the rear of the Beach which add to it's appeal.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Mahon at 21 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Son Parc at 0.5 Kilometres Car: not necessary


The safe blue flag sandy beach at Son Parc is a 5-10 minute stroll away through pines and sand dunes. For those wishing to walk to other beaches a 40 minute walk will take you to a deserted sandy cove across the headland. In the opposite direction a 15 minute walk will take you to the neighbouring resort of Arenal D'En Castell which provides a sandy bay and a further selection of bars/restaurants. Pedalos are available for hire at both the beaches of Son Parc and Arenal.


Mahon airport is a 20 minutes drive away. Car hire is not essential as all amenities are close at hand within the resort, however for those wishing to explore the island car hire is recommended.

N.B: For those visiting the during the low season months of November-April car hire is essential as most amenities within Son Parc do not open until the 1 May.

There is a local bus service available from Son Parc for those wishing to visit other resorts.


Anywhere on the island can be reached within an hour by car. The nearby resorts of Arenal, Addaia and Fornells are within 10 -15 minutes drive.

Further Details:

Local bars/restaurants/shops and supermarkets are all within walking distance. Horse riding, diving, windsurfing and sailing are all available within a short drive.

There are 2 Waterparks at the opposite end of the island which can both be reached within an hours drive.

A doctor is on call to the resort of Son Parc on a daily basis should one be needed.

A lifeguard/First Aid post is in use during the peak season months on Son Parc Beach.

Early check ins/Late checkouts maybe available dependant on other bookings. Please enquire with us as to whether this is possible.

Changeover Day:

Wifi has been installed in 2015 providing Internet Access. Additional benefits of our Apartment are additional air conditioning has been installed in both the bedrooms. This is fantastic for those hot summer nights but equally useful in the cooler months as it has a hot setting too. The Apartment has a large south facing terrace offering direct access to the pool area. There is a private downstairs shower room for this Apartment which can double as a second bathroom and is handy when your by the pool. We also have undercover private parking with our own allocated space. The location of the Apartment is fantastic with everything within a short walk so car hire is not essential. The Pool area has both sunny and shaded areas provided by pine trees surrounding the pool. There is a large paved area for sun bathing as well as grassed areas providing sun or shade whichever you prefer.

The property is managed by an English Lady who is able to assist in the case of Emergencies. The property offers free undercover parking. There is a box of buckets and spades and inflatable beach toys etc available for guests to use. Selection of books/c.d's/childrens videos and d.v.d's within the Apartment, some board games and small childrens toys. Sorry, no pets. Outside: The apartment is on the lower level and has a large south facing patio/ with built in BBQ overlooking the pool. The terrace/balcony area is fully enclosed with a door separating the terrace from the steps leading to the pool. The terrace offers lovely views across the surrounding area. There is a large patio table with 6 chairs, a large parasol and 5 sunloungers. Part of the terrace provides natural shade. Separate childrens section in swimming pool. The apartment complex is provides a well maintained garden with paved and grass areas for sunbathing around the swimming pool. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and bed linen including cot bedding are included in prices (not beach towels). Towels/bedlinen are changed weekly at the end of the first week for fortnighly bookings only. Cleaning is done before arrival and after departure. Other: The apartment has it's own downstairs shower room with shower, wc and wash basin. This room is situated underneath the apartment and is accessed from the apartments private undercover designated parking space. It is ideal for use as a second bathroom.
