***Now with WIFI *** Lovely 1 bedroom top floor apartment overlooking a beautiful pool area on a quiet and secure all privately owned apartment complex. The apartment is perfect for holiday let and is spacious and well laid out. It is very comfortable, light and airy, benefiting from hot or cold air conditioning for summer or winter lets. A bright living area tastefully furnished with a large metal-action sofa bed, a further settee and coffee table. Storage cabinet and entertainment facilities. The balcony with perfect pool and mountain views has bistro furniture for alfresco dining. It has a fully equipped fitted galley kitchen with large fridge/freezer, modern hob, cooker and microwave. A utility room with washing machine and additional sink area is off the kitchen. A fully tiled light modern bathroom with double sink, bath and shower with ample cupboard storage. A large and light double bedroom (king size bed) with huge fitted wardrobes and drawer units with added balcony overlooking the pool.

Been holidaying in Albir for over 25 years and decided to buy an apartment over there. Font rotja is a lovely family apartment complex and, suited us well. Albir is a lovely place with plenty to see and do and, if you like a little more night life some nights then Benidorm is right on the door step. We were fed up of booking places and turning up with no drawers, storage and very basic fitted out properties so we made sure the apartment fulfills all a family could possible need. The children are now grown up but still love going to the apartment with their own families and partners and making new memories.

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

The beach is approx. a 10 - 15 min pleasant walk away, through the many shops restaurants and bars of main central Albir. The predominately pebble beach is very clean with sunbeds (6 euro per day) and pedaloes (15 euro per hour) for hire. There is a beautiful flat promenade, perfect for evening strolls, lined with an array of cosmopolitan restaurants and bars which stretches for approx 1/2 mile to the next resort of picturesque Altea and its beautiful marina.

Travel:

The nearest airport is Alicante which is approx 45 mins away. Car hire, Bus and Taxis to the resort are available however no car is necessary whilst in resort, though if you intend to do lots of sightseeing a car would be an advantage.

We can also advise you of a resort hopper service from the airport to Albir resort which charges approx 10 euros return per person.

Distances:

Bustling Benidorm is approximately a 15 minute bus or taxi ride away at a small cost.

Altea, with a beautiful marina and picturesque old town is approx 10 mins away by bus or taxi, but is a lovely pleasant walk from Albir along the promenade, taking approximately 40 minutes.

There is a train station in Altea approx 10 mins car journey away, which has trains to Calpe, Denia, Javea etc.

Guadalest is a lovely moorish mountain village approx 30 mins away by car and is a must for all tourists.

Further Details:

Local Albir has every amenity including supermarkets, banks and shops, bars and restaurants catering for all nationalities as well as traditional Spanish food. Every week you will encounter the huge tourist market where all your holiday mementos can be bought, from leather bags to flamenco dresses. A must for all visitors.

Further afield, the former fishing village of Altea, now famous for its blue roofed church and quaint cobbled streets and posh market stall 'Plaza', lined with beautiful restaurants, is within walking distance. A definite for a romantic occasion.

Terra Mitica, the famous Costa Blanca theme park is only a 25 minute bus or taxi ride away, where you can discover the hidden wonders of the Mediterranean shores. Egypt, Greece, Rome and The Islands. Thousands of years converted into moments of fun, emotion and adrenalin on various exhilarating rides.

Terra Natura, a new-generation 320,000 square metre wildlife park allowing you to get really close to the animals in a natural habitat is a mere 25 minute bus or taxi ride away. A great place to experience that something a little different.

Benidorm with its beautiful long promenades and blue flag sandy beaches, its bustling day and nightlife, its huge variety of bars and restaurants and lovely old town and church area, is a need to be experienced place no more than 15 minutes ride away.

Aqualandia in Benidorm, 15 minutes away by bus or taxi, boasting to be one of the largest water parks in the world and ranked among those which offer the most attractions with a great range of water rides, splash pools and other attractions. Here you will find there’s something for everyone to enjoy a fun day out.

Visit fabulous Guadalest. 25 km from Altea and occupying one of the most stunning positions in Spain, this small village is precariously perched on the pinnacle of a granite mountain, giving fabulous views across the valley carved out by the River from which the village takes its name.

Even though the apartment is only 1 bedroom it easily has enough room for a family of 5. It is welcoming and comfortable, light and airy with lovely views over the pool area or mountainous landscapes in the distance. Once there, that feeling of 'home from home' will be become natural and allows for immediate relaxation due to the apartment amenities and ideal location. Being a privately owned and quiet complex, Font Rotja boasts a traditional feel with a modern twist with its white artistic shaped apartment blocks. Its location is central for those who want both a peaceful break in or around Albir or to wander to bustling Benidorm or lovely Altea.

The accommodation is more than comfortable and gives you an immediate feel of relaxation and ease. The apartment is suitable and safe for children and has the added benefit of digitally controlled air conditioning and heating to suit all occasions through summer and winter. The view from the balcony and side windows over the beautiful, clean and safe pool area are perfect for both keeping an eye on your younger loved ones during the day or for a spot of alfresco dining in the evening when the pool is lit for that added mediterranean holiday feeling. The security gated 'all areas' policy and privacy of the complex gives you that reassurance of safety at all times, day and night. A manned reception office is available for any unexpected occurrence. Additional similar apartments in the same complex for family or friends all travelling together can be arranged upon request. Outside: This is a lovely modern quiet complex of only 126 apartments in 5 blocks, suitable for all ages. The grounds are well maintained with lovely gardens and paved areas allowing for walks within the complex. Garden benches are sited around the complex for your convenience. The lovely and clean communal pool area consists of a lovely large (max 8ft deep) adult pool and small toddlers pool for added safety. The complex also has security gated entrances all round to residents only plus each apartment block has security pass doors for extra peace of mind. There is a reception manned daily within office hours for any unexpected occurrence with English and Spanish languages spoken. Utility Room: Utility sink, and automatic washing machine. Sunbeds and beach mats provided Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Apartment will be thoroughly cleaned and beds made prior to arrival. Towels and additional linen are provided for your stay for over 1 week.
