Ground floor apartment with its own child friendly garden and patio both bedrooms have mosquito blinds at the windows .Some Sea views. Set in landscaped gardens with 2 pools and open and shaded terraces for sun and relaxation. 5 minutes walk to lovely gently shelving sandy beach, ideal for young children. Shops and restaurants are just a few minutes walk. The fishing village of Macaret is a pleasant walk, in high season there is a little train that goes there. Son Parc golf club is a ten minute drive. Mahon airport 20 minutes drive.

About The Owner

Hello, I'm Helen Fensome the owner of Apt 33 Costa Arenal,I'm 60 years young still working,as an office manager I live with my partner Terry who's a bricklayer in Bedfordshire. Terry has a grown up Son & Daugther

and a Grand Daughter.

Neither of us had been to Menorca untill 2002 when a last minute booking took us to the Island, we both fell in love with the islands rolling landscape breath taking beaches & laid back atmosphere, it was like stepping back in time( England in the 50's ). we had both dreamed of a place in the sun,now it's reality, we like to come out to the apartment as often as work will permit.

The Owner purchased this apartment in 2003

Why The Owner chose Arenal d'en Castell

we had looked at a number of complexes across the Island before deciding on Arenal, we love it's situation up on the hill over looking the sea, the lovely horse shoe bay just a few minutes walk away.Only a twenty minute drive to Mahon airport. And yet you can take a walk along the headlands and see Red kites,in May the beautifull spring flowers wild garlic & Rosemary.

Take a boat ride round the harbour of Mahon lost of history there,or take a car or Bus to Cuitdella the old capiltal of Menorca very Moorish,or just chill in the grounds.

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment is on a complex where all the apartments are privately owned, has one of the best kept gardens on the Island.Swimming pool and Childrens pool all are maintained to a very high standard. as is the apartment,after all it is our home.You will find all you need for a relaxing holiday. A nice tidy apartment on a complex with lovely gardens and pools

We both loved the beach, which was only 5 minutes walk. Lots of good local restaurants. Our favourite was the Good Bridge closely followed by the Romani

Macaret fishing village, 20 minutes walk along the headland or 5 minutes by car. Son Parc, 20 minutes walk or 10 minutes by car. Ciudadela the ancient capital is a 40 minutes drive.
