Wonderful place, wonderful hosts

  • 5 of 5

I really can't speak highly enough about this rental. My wife and I had to find a place quickly (house move - don't ask) and happened upon this by chance. Lynette and Richard are wonderful hosts - they let us, our two dogs and cat have the run of the place, but were always there when we needed them. Just lovely.

The annex - both annexes in fact, as we stayed in both - is beautifully done - comfortable, homely, and with a real eye for detail. We couldn't have asked for better. And only a short walk to the Severn in one direction and a wonderful system of canals in the other. Good pubs, good walks - pretty much everything you need.

I can't recommend the place highly enough. I'd encourage anyone to book it, but if you can leave quickly if we need the place back that would be great.

A little bit of paradise

  • 5 of 5

This well-equipped cottage was a treat to stay in - and we stayed for 6 weeks, on and off - it made a stressful time of house-purchase a joy. Lynette and Richard are lovely, and the neighbourhood is stunning. Very sad indeed to leave! The listing is accurate, every detail has been thought of - they are calm, experienced hosts - and even with our two lively dogs they proved unflappable. The River Severn here is jaw-dropping, the canals are great, but so is the countryside in general.

Superb Value and Location

  • 5 of 5

Just spent a week at Apple Tree Cottage and it was great! Location was excellent and the accommodation was more than we expected given the price. We were supplied with everything one would need for a holiday and the welcome pack of essential was generous and very welcome! The hosts were great and always friendly. No complaints whatsoever and greatly recommended.

Great holiday hideaway

  • 5 of 5

We loved staying at Apple Tree Studio, it was cozy, clean, well situated in a delightful spot central to many tourist destinations. Although it was a compact studio it actually felt quite spacious and the outdoor paved area was great (we had amazing weather too!) Our hosts were fantastic, not intrusive but there if you needed them, and we really appreciated the generous welcome food pack on arrival! Cottage had everything we needed, and the sloping bedroom roof was no problem once you got used to it! We would go back again in a heartbeat, pity it is so far from home! Thanks Richard and Lynette!
