A modern 3 bedroom ground-floor apartment, with one double and two twin bedrooms. Seven minutes down to the beach and all amenities, fifteen minutes walk to the centre of town. Fully equipped as all-year 'home from home' property, which is owned outright, so rest assured nothing will come between you and your holiday. One king-size double with two twin bedrooms, living room with two sofas, internet and WS-TV. Fully fitted kitchen with washing machine, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer etc. Air conditioning in each of the bedrooms and the living room.

Two bathrooms, one en-suite with walk-in shower, one with bath, both with sink and W.C.

About Derek or Mandy Maddison

My wife and I first went to Nerja eighteen years ago and decided 'this is for us'. Although we now own three properties in the Burriana area (all on the Owners Direct site), we are not travel or rental agents, we run them privately as our long-term pension fund. We hope to retire out there someday, in the meantime we maintain and look after them as anyone would their own home.

Notes on accommodation: Lots of extras - DVD player, radio/CD player, iron, ironing board, drying frame, safe, ceiling fans in all rooms except the bathrooms, hairdryers in all bedrooms etc. Secure wi-fi broadband included. Linen and towels included (except beach towels), changed halfway through two week bookings. Cleaned thoroughly between bookings. A 'welcome pack' is provided and a local British agent is on hand to ensure trouble-free stay. Outside: Table and chairs with retractable sunshade on the balcony, two sunbeds on the balcony or 'Community' ones around the communal pool. The pool area has a shower, toilet facilities, plus all the usual safety features and notices.

Wonderful apartment

We recently returned from our stay at this apartment, (the photos don't do it justice), it's a lovely apartment, well equipped with everything you need also a good sized balcony with great views. Any questions we had were answered promptly by Derek, (the owner) and also by their agent in Nerja (Phil). The apartment was clean and spacious, linen and towels were changed once a week. Burriana beach is 7mins walk (downhill which might be difficult walking back for anyone with mobility problems), the town is around 15mins walk (part of which is slightly uphill), this wasn't a problem for us as we enjoy walking and the scenery was worth it. I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment and would certainly stay there again if visiting Nerja, also it was very good value. Is close to a large supermarket and Nerja Club Hotel and Spa which has entertainment most nights and offer a good buffet dinner for 12 Euro pp.

Owner's Response: We're very pleased to hear back when our guests have had a good time. The apartment is very well situated for all local facilities and for Burriana, the main beach. Nerja is hilly, so it's difficult to avoid the up and downs, however, if you don't mind walking, it's a wonderful 'all year' resort. We look forward to hearing from Ms Gibson, if at any time she visits Nerja in the future.

Fantastic Well Equiped Apartment

Just returned form our stay in Nerja.. our visit made much more pleasant with staying at this fully equipped apartment just 5 minutes from Burianna beach. The gated private pool is very handy for a dip to cool off and the evenings sipping wine on the large balcony made it a memorable stay. Would defo recommend this apartment.

To top it all off the communication from the owners was very clear and fast responses always!

Owner's Response: Our south-west facing balcony is ideal for the sun, taking advantage of Nerja's 320 days of sunshine each year. The pool is well maintained and secure from outsiders, so it never gets crowded, even in high season. We keep the apartment (and our second apartment nearby) very well equipped as 'home from home'. Although they sleeps six, we're happy to offer discounts for reduced occupancy and prices tailored for any length of stay. We always respond quickly, thanks partly to 'Owners Direct' text alert system.

Excellent Apartment

Just back from a fabulous 10 day stay in this apartment (August 2011). The apartment was very clean and spacious and the kitchen very well equipped for a family of 5. The pool area was also very clean. The apartment is located close to a supermarket and a restaurant, and its only 7 Euros in a taxi to the Balcon de Europa area with lots of shops, restaurant, bars etc. Nerja is a beautiful place but I would recommend hiring a car as all the hills can be very tiring on little legs!

Owner's Response: The apartment is always popular, close to the beach and its amenities, yet not too close to disturb young families late at night. Parking is easy, right outside with no yellow lines. As the mountains come right down to the sea, Nerja is quite a 'hilly' resort, but think how fit you will be when you return to the UK!

Uns hat die Wohnung und die Umgebung sehr gut gefallen und wir hatten eine schöne Zeit.

Während unseres Urlaubs im Juli war das Wetter sehr gut und Nachts war es auch nicht zu laut.

Man konnte sich angenehm erholen und man kam gut aus ohne Auto.

Die Wohnung war sauber und mit den Agenten vor Ort hat auch alles gut geklappt.

Coast/Beach:

It is a seven minute walk down to Burriana Beach, the largest and most popular in the resort. Approximately fifteen minutes walk to the main part of town. The nearest shopping facility is a big supermarket five minutes away.

Travel:

Malaga is the nearest airport, about 35 miles or 50 minutes drive, with motorway access to within a mile of the town centre. A car might be useful, especially if you intend to explore the area, but it is not essential.

Distances:

Well worth a visit is Frigiliana, about five miles away, a restored Moorish mountain village. Nearby is the restored 'lost' hamlet of Acebuchal, originally abandoned in 1948. The fishing village of Maro and the Nerja Caves are just two miles away. For those of a cultural disposition, perhaps a trip to the Picasso Museum in Malaga or two hours from Granada and the famous Alhambra Palace.

Further Details:

A very popular resort, readily accessible from Malaga and its international airport. Nestling on the foothills of the mountains, the old town, with its narrow vehicle restricted cobbled streets, offers a more relaxed holiday from that found in the more fashionable resorts of the Costa del Sol. With small picturesque bays, the famous 'Balcon de Europa' promenade, numerous small shops, bars and restaurants, plus its wonderful all year round climate, Nerja has something for everyone, especially families and the more mature holidaymaker.
