Modern interior tastefully decorated. Classic exteriors within finely landscaped grounds. Grounds include 5 swimming pools within a few seconds walk. On site Pub (which serves excellent food), restaurants and shops. Many beautiful beaches within 10-15 minutes drive. Vila Sol 27 hole championship golf course. Lovely Vilamoura marina, cafes and boutiques are 5 minutes by car. The apartment has its own independent router with free WIFI connection. There is also free WIFI adjacent to the pools, Deli France and Oscar's bar.

About Simon Chapman

Hello, My name is Simon Chapman and together with my wife Caroline, have owned the apartment for over 10 years. We run a successful Electrical and Security firm in the UK employing 30 people. I live with Caroline, in a village called Anslow, just outside Burton on Trent. Caroline and I try to visit Vila Sol at least six times a year to ensure that the apartment meets our exacting standards. We really enjoy our time there, finding it very relaxing. (I do get told off occasionally for still working with my laptop!). We are sure that you will enjoy your stay. We have guests returning for their 9th year with us, which we believe to be our best advert.

Why Simon Chapman chose Vilamoura

We looked at various properties in the Vilamoura area. The calmness of Vila Sol and the finish of all the apartments was head and shoulder above the other properties we looked at.

The apartment had been furnished by a couple looking to spend considerable there. Unfortunately their circumstances changed which is why the apartment came onto the market.

We were extremely fortunate to come across this wonderful apartment and really enjoy our time here.

What makes this apartment unique

We love the fact that we can reach Portugal within such a short time from the UK. We find the locals extremely friendly and feel very safe.

Our apartment benefits from being south facing, at the quiet end of the complex, yet less than one minutes walk from the pools. We are close to the supermarket and the pub! There are many restaurants within easy walking distance from the apartment. There is also a shop and delicatessen.

Being a duplex (with the bedrooms on the second floor)

it is at a big advantage over apartments on higher floors.

We are able to shut the patio doors and walk to the pools. If you stay in a 1st or 2nd floor apartment, you have to walk all the way round the whole block to access the pools.

Notes on accommodation: Village gardens club member This apartment is owned by a member of Village Gardens Club, which grants our guests free access to the central area of pools and gardens. Please be aware that this area is now privately owned and not all Vila Sol Village apartments grant you access to the pools and gardens. In case of doubt, please check with the Village Gardens Club administration (vilamoura@ldc.pt) before you rent. Village Gardens Club rules will be available for your consultation in the apartment. A complimentary cot & high chair are available. The air-conditioning also acts as heating if required (in the winter months). The communal grounds are enclosed and security gated, so safe for your children. Outside: The lounge leads out onto a large tiled patio shaded by a pergola. Sun loungers (with cushions) and patio furniture are provided. The patio opens out onto the village green. Five shared pools are provided within a few seconds walk, together with poolside bar/cafe. Ample car parking spaces outside the apartment. Utility Room: Washing machine, tumble dryer, drying rack , pegs, iron & board. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bath towels and linen are provided. Property cleaning service is provided each week. Please provide your own pool towels. Other: Downstairs cloakroom (very handy for the children!)

Fantastic apartment in a great location!

We have stayed in this apartment twice and will definitely book again!

Not far from Faro airport the property is located in an exclusive development with 3 adult pools, 2 children's pools and a jacuzzi! You can even buy a beer, soft drink, ice cream or hot food from the on site facilities.

There are many good restaurants very close by coupled with a convenience store.

The beach, Vilamoura, Vilamoura Marina, Loule, Zoo marine, Aqua show and many great golf courses are all within in easy reach.

Faro has a designer village which is worth a visit, Loule has a similar development under construction beside the new IKEA store.

You won't be disappointed!

It’s like being at home with everything you need in a warm country. WiFi in apartment and English tv, near restaurants and a small shop swimming pools and plenty of arenas to soak up the sun.

Lovely Apartment

Excellent fully equipped apartment, everything you could wish for when planning an holiday. Even two bottles of wine left by the owners as a welcome present. Only one minor complaint was that the plastic patio chairs where uncomfortable to sit on even with the padded covers on. Overall would not hesitate to use again. Cheers

Great location, lovely property with lots of entertaining space.

As you arrive you will wonder how much room there really is - once you're through the front door you will see there's plenty on two floors.

Both ensuite bedrooms are comfortable with plenty of space and wardrobe hanging as well as drawers.

Living room and kitchen layout works well with all of the equipment you're likely to need. You can open up the doors onto the patio which means you end up with lots of space to relax, eat and enjoy your holiday.

Plenty of bars and places to eat within easy walking distance - and all those we ate at offered varied menus and felt like good value. There's a marina a short drive away (it is walkable, 40 mins?) which is worth a visit - again lots of food and drink choices in that area.

Would be happy to stay in this apartment again - especially as it is so convenient for the airport.

Another amazing stay and our first as a family!

My partner and I have stayed in this apartment on a few occasions now and have always been delighted. This year we decided to return with our 9 month old daughter and had a fantastic holiday. The apartment is very modern and is always clean & tidy and extremely well equipped. It really does feel like a home from home! If you are traveling with young children there is a comfy high chair and travel cot which were both set up for us on arrival. The air conditioning, high speed broadband and flat screen TV's really do set this apart from other apartments we have stayed in. The large outside area is great for BBQ's, dining or just relaxing in the sun. The swimming pools are easily accessible from this ground floor apartment but just far enough away to ensure this end location is a little more quiet and peaceful.The complex has a variety of excellent restaurants which are all in walking distance, the closest being Wildfire Smokehouse & Grill which is within meters of the apartment and server fantastic steaks! I would highly recommend the boneless beef ribs to start!

Simon and Caroline have a detailed welcome pack and information booklet to help you get the most out of your stay and ensure you have a great time. Its clear that they love to share the joys of Vila Sol with all of their guests which is backed up by all of the five star reviews.
