Character tower style 5 bedroom, 12 person, extensive villa. 3 bathrooms, all modern standard. Central heating for out of season lets. Large pool with terracing and south facing panoramic sea views of the Costa Brava to the fishing town of Palamos with its huge chaoice of restauarants, bars and amenities. About Nigel Banks

Torre Cal Sada was originally planned and built by our father in the 1970's however, my brother and I have owned and managed the property for the last 15 years during which time it has served as a wonderful holiday home for us, our 6 children (now aged between 10 and 21!) other family, friends and of course clients.

We are very proud of the fact that many clients choose to return to Torre Cal Sada each season, once visited it is never forgotten!

Our parents built this lovely villa in the 70's and we were lucky enough to be able to buy it from them in the 1990's

My brother and I have improved it, let it for holidays and enjoyed every year in Palamos for all of our adult lives.

We continue to renovate original features to keep the house asnew can whilst making some major improvements such as central heating!

We love other people enjoying our villa alongside the wonderful family holidays we continue to enjoy.

It is a very special place!

Notes on accommodation: A fabulous property for one or two families with children to enjoy the south facing terraces and swimming pool throughout the summer. Alternatively the vibrancy of the seasonal colours and skies has brought inspiration to authors and artists who have stayed at the property over the past 25 years. Outside: The property is surrounded by it's own land predominantly covered with Pine, Cork Oak and Olive trees. The swimming pool, a particular feature of the property is large in size (10m x 5m with 2.3m max depth x 1.3m min depth) with timer lights for night time dips! Utility Room: Boiler, washing machine, spin drier. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All towels (not beach towels) and sheets and duvets are provided and changed every Friday. Other: Large 'triple size' garage with foldaway table tennis table.

Perfect homebase for Girona Oxfam Trailwalker

My friends and I participated in the Oxfam Trailwalker in Girona at the beginning of April 2017. We rented the villa as our homebase. It was perfect and very comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay.

The perfect holiday villa

To say that we enjoyed ourselves would be the biggest understatement of all time! We rested, tanned, ate delicious food and drank incredibly cheap but tasty Riocha. Even the five 16 year olds in our party behaved like adults (lounging about by the pool, and some even read books - not me!!). The comprehensive instructions were invaluable in guiding us to beautiful beaches (Castells) and restaurants.

The weather behaved - warm sunshine with a breeze, which meant we not besieged by mosi's!

I even found Solmar, the car hire place at Girona airport!

So, once again, a huge thank you, and we very much look forward to visiting Catalonia again!

Just what we needed

We arrived at Torre cal Sada pretty exhausted, and in need of a good break. We came with some friends, and immediately felt at home. The kids had endless fun in the lovely pool, and we all felt refreshed by the fantastic view down to the sea: a real sense of space which helped smooth away any remaining stress.

There's lots to do in the area - we'd particularly recommend Castell beach, and dinner in Calella and Tamariu.

The villa itself is really spacious and well looked after.

Perfect location

We spent a week with our four children at the end of July.

I really can't think of a better way to sum the property up then that it is fabulous.

The house is huge so lot of places to hide for a quiet glass of vino/cup of coffee. It is well stocked and the rooms are breezy and (except one) have huge doors opening out onto the balcony so gorgeous at night when you are lying with the breeze coming in.

The pool is absolutely beautiful and extremely well cared for and we also had a few fun nights in the ping pong room.

The location is perfect. You are raised up so have a wonderful aspect down to the sea and over the forests around you. You are next door to a beautiful vineyard - with drinkable wine. You are a hop and a skip from beautiful beaches and Palermos - a fishing town with integrity and a fab food market is 15 minutes away.

All in all a perfect, dramatic, beautiful place....very good value. And yes, we will be booking again next year.

Excellent holiday

We were a party of 11 (6 adults + 5 teenage children) and had a wonderful time at Torre Cal Sada. The location is excellent and convenient, with wonderful views around the villa and short drives to several stunning beaches of Costa Brava, such as Llafranc, Calella de Palafrugell, Tamariu, Agua Blava, etc.

The villa is beautiful and tasteful, the web photos are a true reflection of it. Our teenage children enjoyed the large swimming pool, as well as the table tennis. The place is clean and the kitchen generously equiped with all the necesary appliances and dishes. We also thoroughly enjoyed evenings of BBQs, wine and wonderful views on the large terrace.

The owner (Nigel) was very friendly and helpful, he provided detailed notes of the area, including directions to points of interest, recommneded restaurants, beaches, local amenities, etc.

A brilliant holiday altogether!
