Very Private, Totally Quiet, yet Close to Shops, Beach & Golf. The house has three bedrooms (180cm wide beds which can be separated) with ensuite bath/shower rooms and a guest lavatory. Individual AC/heating controls in each room. Safes in bedrooms. Fully equipped utility room. Two kind of Sun loungers available. Pool approx 8x4 m.Outdoor dining for 6-8 on the the porch and for 12 indoors.TV, DVD player, internet. In an exclusive Gated Community with security. Situated on high cliffs with stunning views; the sea is just beyond the end of the garden. Residential 'green zone' area with exclusive properties in large gardens; feeling of being close to nature. Parking outside the house. Beaches / shops five min away. Six golf courses within 10-20 min drive. Palma 15 min drive.

Santa Ponsa is a popular resort in the southwest of Mallorca. The old part of the town has mainly hotels and mass tourism, whereas "Nova Santa Ponsa" is sparsely constructed and has exclusive villas and exceptional residences.

500m away is the Puerto Adriano marina, expanded and renovated by designer Philippe Starck, completed in 2013 and the finest and most exclusive on the island. The SW part of Mallorca is lively all through the year, whereas the remainder of the island is quite deserted from October to May.

Wonderful view

This is the third time that we have stayed at Mar Del Sur every time we have had a fantastic time.

Eloy the caretaker was waiting to greet us and he was very helpful.

The house is well equipped with everything you need for your holiday.

Wonderful sea view in a lovely quiet location. The gated complex makes parking really easy always appreciated in the busy summer season.

Hopefully we will be back again soon.

Owners are very friendly and very helpfull. The concierge is very helpfull too.

The house is very well equipped and...the view is like in Paradise.

The view is incredible and the decor is very good.

Super Mediterranean Views

We spent a faboulous family holidays in the wonderfull villa. You can enjoy the most beautifull views of the south of Mallorca with a very quiet pool with a good garden to stay. The house has everything you need to spend your holiday comfotarble like at home. Landlords are serious and easy to talk to them. We highly recomend the house.

This was a wonderful spacious villa, beautifully furnished and decorated, with spectacular sea views on an immaculately kept gated development. The owner made the whole process very easy and the portero was very helpful, welcoming us to the villa and making sure that we were happy with everything. It was very well equipped with internet, English TV, dvds, books, dressing gowns, hair dryers and everything you would ever need in the kitchen and utility room.

The surrounding area is beautiful with many good restaurants and close proximity to Santa Ponsa and the newly extended Port Adriano. I would certainly recommend a holiday here and hope that we can return in the not too distant future!

Fantastic holiday

When we arrived we were treated with a very helpful and friendly local who showed us around the villa. The villa is beautiful, the view spectacular. The villa is also very well equipped for everything and most unusually the beds were also very comfortable.

From the Owner

Mar del Sur fulfilled our wish to be as near to the sea as possible. It is a well run Community with security and the garden and pool are looked after all year round. Palma is a short drive away, as are all amenities but we are still away from the crowds in the season. Puerto Adriano nearby has fantastic restaurants and exclusive shopping. The Tramuntana mountain range is within easy reach for hiking. Mallorca's only Country Club is five minutes' drive away. They have excellent facilities and are located next to Santa Ponsa Golf Club and golf course l. (http://www.spcountryclub.com/

25 - 30 min from airport. Car rental essential although there are local buses running very nearby, but this is a slow mode of transport.


15 min drive to Palma.

Prices are quoted for weekly rentals, as one week is the minimum period. However, any extensions beyond a week are flexible.

25% at the time of booking. Balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival. If a booking is made within eight week of the arrival, the full amount is due at the time of booking.

The house is very well laid out and has high ceilings and interesting architecture. The garden is secluded with hedges shielding us from our neighbours and also from the prevailing southwesterly winds. The kitchen is next to the dining room, separated by a high bar but the views are stunning even from here.
