Apartment in Cala D'Or, Mallorca, Spain - Resort and Beach within 2 minutes Walk, Ideal for Families

The apartment is situated in the Cala Egos region of beautiful Cala D’or, one of the most picturesque resorts on the south east coast of Majorca. It is located within a private residential complex in a quiet area of the resort, but still within easy walking distance of all the amenities you will need e.g. bars, restaurants, supermarkets, banks, chemist, etc. The marina of Cala D'or is only a 10 minute walk away with its many bars, restaurants, shops and lots more. There are a total of seven beaches within Cala d'or with the nearest (Cala Egos beach) only a short 200 metre walk away. The apartment also forms a great base for golfers, with 17 courses on the Island the nearest of which is a championship course Vall D'or, only 10 minutes in the car or taxi.

The apartment has full a/c and heating units in each room (installed in May 2014)

What makes this apartment unique

This is our home in Majorca and offers the largest pool in the area that the kids will love, landscaped gardens to look out onto from the large balcony and the safety and security of a gated complex

Your apartment and the complex was perfect together with all the restaurants and beaches etc. But of course we had wonderful weather and didn't do much travelling around preferring to just lounge round the pool area.

Notes:
Apartment is on the 1st floor but with lift access. Fully air conditioned (installed May 2014) with a separate ceiling fan in both bedrooms. A selection of games are available for adults and kids as well as tennis rackets and balls for your use. WII game console and games along with satellite TV that shows the Freeview channels. The complex also has a WIFI connection (small fee applies) Outside: The complex has a beautiful large swimming pool with a waterfall feature and shallow area for children. There are plenty of sunbeds and parasols provided. There is a pool bar offering free wifi for customers and is open in high season serving drinks, snacks and ice creams. Alongside the pool is a communal BBQ area, tennis and racquetball courts. The apartment comes with its own secure parking space and the complex is accessed through a security gate. Utility Room: Washing machine (July 2014), clothes rack, iron and ironing board. Cleaning / Towels / Linen: Apartment is cleaned on arrival. Towels and linen are provided (not beach towels). High chair and cot available (free of charge) but bring your own sheets / blankets. Other: Large balcony area with table, chairs and sun loungers. The apartment also has its own safe to store all your personal belonging

Beautiful Bella Luna

two week holiday in a lovely part of Mallorca, in a very well placed apartment block.

Our apartment was well maintained, clean and tidy, with everything one needed for our holiday.

We were looked after prior to the trip by the owners extremely well, and also on site by their apartment manager. If you haven't done this type of holiday before, this is your future!

Apartment clean and well presented, lovely spacious balcony.

Peaceful location but easy to access shops, bars and beaches.

Huge pool, clean, plenty of sun loungers. Lady at bar appeared rather grumpy

Beautiful complex

Having stayed at Bella Luna on previous holidays we had no problems finding our apartment, in fact we stayed in the same apartment last time we visited Majorca. Any problems we had were quickly sorted out by John, the owner, and Averil the manager who couldn't have been more helpful, even finding a rug for our 11 month old granddaughter to play on when in the apartment. Bella Luna feels a very safe, peaceful, environment for families, the gardens are extremely well kept, as is the fabulous pool area. It was our son and family's first visit however they plan to return in the future.

Beautiful Apartment

I and three friends spent a very enjoyable week in Cala Egos. This apartment was very well equipped, beautifully clean and comfortable and exceeded all our expectations. The Bella Luna complex was safe, secure, quiet and was close to all amenities. The swimming pool area was stunning. We received a lovely welcome from Averil who could not have been more helpful. We would definitely recommend this apartment and would hope to return one day.

Really lovely apartment in a very nice secure complex and superb location

The apartment was very well presented and had a lovely balcony for relaxing. The pool is fab and as said is the biggest in the area. Totally enjoyed our stay and felt totally relaxed after our week.

Beautiful location, perfect for a weeks break.

Looking forward to staying again.

Coast/Beach:

There are 2 beautiful beaches within 5 mins walk, both sandy, sheltered coves with beach bars. Within 10 mins drive are 5 more sandy beaches, providing ample space for sun-worshippers! All beaches are suitable for children and safe for swimming.

Travel:

It will take approximately 40 minutes to travel from Palma airport and the two main options are to hire a car (which can be picked up and dropped off at the airport or the resort itself) or to get a taxi.

Taxi transfer is located immediately outside the arrival hall at Palma Airport.

Very reasonable car hire rates are available from www.carjet.com and is best arranged prior to your journey from the UK.

Distances:

The apartment is within 200 yards of all the amenities of Cala Egos where you will find excellent bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. The nearby town of Cala D'Or is a 5 minute drive and can be reached by the local mini train. Cala D'Or Marina is a 15 minute stroll. The high standard of roads and excellent sign-posting makes driving around the island easy and most places can be reached in no more than 1 hour's drive.

Further Details:

Cala Egos itself offers a variety of nightlife, as well as providing the essential supermarkets, chemist, shops and banks. It is ideally located to give you easy access to the vibrant resort of Cala Dor that has a fantastic range of cafes, restaurants, family bars, music bars and a few nightclubs.

The famous marina of Cala D’Or is a great place to eat by the waterside overlooking the boats and yatchs. Porto Petro is a nearby, fishing port where you can pick up a glass-bottom boat trip. Or you can visit a local market, take a day trip to Palma City, see the Caves Of Drach, or check out a few of the great beaches around the island. There are also 2 large water parks within easy reach for a fun day out for all the family.

Booking Notes:
Provisional bookings can be made and we will hold this for you while you secure your flights. Bookings can then be confirmed with a 25% deposit (non-refundable). Balance is to be paid 12 weeks prior to departure. A refundable £250 damage deposit is also required - this can be a post-dated cheque which will only be cashed if damage is caused.

Changeover Day:
Ideally, we would like to operate on a Saturday to Saturday basis, especially in peak season. However, if special requests are made we will endeavour to accommodate 10/11 nights, long weekends or long stays. The apartment will be available from 2.00 pm

Notes on prices:
Prices are for the apartment per week in UK Pounds. Weekend breaks and 10/11 night bookings can be accommodated, subject to availability. These will be calculated on a pro-rate basis. Price can be negotiated to fill late cancellations.
