About the property

Village House in Fornalutx, Nr. Soller, Mallorca - Peaceful and Quiet Location, 1 Minutes Walk from the Town Square

This cottage is a romantic getaway that has been tastefully restored and furnished. It is situated in a quiet part of the village yet close to the town square. It is unusual in that it has a garden and large terrace which offer stunning views to the mountains and olive and orange groves which tumble down to the valley below.

There is one bedroom and one bathroom so it is ideal for a couple. The living area has a library of books, walking books, DVDs and CDs and the TV has English channels including BBC and ITV.

Wonderful character cottage in Fornalutx.

We had a fabulous stay at Wendy's place. It was a comfortable home from home.

So glad that supplies were left for us and that we didn't have to rush out for everything but the kitchen sink.

Wonderful books to read and lots of information about the area.

A great stay.

Pam and Philip.

Lovely traditional village house

  • 4 of 5

We loved our stay in this traditional village house. Fornalutx is a lovely old village with beautiful stone houses and several local restaurants within walking distance. We enjoyed our walk down to Soller through the orange and olive groves and then the old tram down to Port Soller. Very relaxing break - we'll be back to do some more walking.

La Paz is full of traditional Mallorcan style and charm.

Convenient and comfortable with attractive and private outdoor seating areas. Beautiful setting within a very attractive and tranquil village. Shops, restaurants and cafes provided for all our needs for the week. Excellent walks in and around the village. A modicum of fitness required to negotiate the different levels within La Paz!!

Loved our time here and appreciated the useful information supplied. Many thanks, Wendy.

We stayed in this wonderful home for three nights and we had a fantastically relaxing break.

The house is stocked with everything that you could possibly need in order to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The kitchen was incredibly well kitted out with everything from a coffee machine to a dishwasher.

There are beautiful views of the mountains and the valley from the upper terrace where we ate our breakfast each morning.

The village is remarkably quaint and the people were extremely welcoming. There are some great restaurants overlooking the valley that serve delicious food at a reasonable price. Suckling pig was a real favourite.

The pictures simply don't do the house or the views justice , if you go and see for yourself I'm sure that you will agree.

We will most definitely be going back.

Lovely small house in a very pleasant location in the village. It was well equipped and comfortable. We loved the terrace and balcony which had views down the valley. We will try to go again sometime.
