Villa Rocio, like the traditional village of Benajarafe, where it is situated, is both beautiful and peaceful. Situated in its own grounds with a private BBQ area and 10m x 5m pool, it is one of 2 villas that can be booked individually or together (together can accommodate 20+ people – see ref. S1408). A minute away from the beach and walking distance of local facilities; such as a local bakery, supermarket and chemist, there is little more needed for a stress free vacation. Comfort is key in this Mediterranean villa, with a spacious lounge and soft furnishings.

About the Owner

Hi our names are Joe and Cath and we have been managing holiday lettings in Spain since 2002. We have a local on site manager who takes care of the day to day running of the villas for us. This gives our guests great peace of mind, who feel reassured they have someone at hand who speaks spanish, english etc.

We now have an established clientele who come back to us year after year. What our guests seem to like about our villas are: the cleanliness of the accommodation and pools, the very close proximity of the villas to the beach and the local airport, their convenient access to local restaurants, bars, a bank, supermarket and pharmacy, our secure parking arrangements, the spaciousness of our villas, their family orientation and quiet, realaxing and peaceful location.

We bought Villa Rocio 2 because of its close proximity to the airport and beach which is only 200 meters away from the house. We also wanted to get away from the over developed and over congested concrete jungles to the west of Malaga where its difficult to move easily from place to place in summer. In contrast we liked the quiet and peaceful location of Benerjarafe which is situated within a popular and traditional Andalusian fishing village. We wanted a house which was easy to get to and from, but was sufficiently well located for our guests to get everything they needed within walking distance ie banks and cash points, a good selection of traditional but not overpriced restaurants and bars, a range of supermarkets, good beach facilities and an excellent local bakery etc.

We also provide holidays for disabled visitors. The Villa has a table tennis table plus bats and balls for guests use.

Coast/Beach:

The villa is in a 'second line' position only 150m from the local blue flag beach and promenade. The beach stretches for 10 km to both the east and west with a range of excellent sea food restaurants and local tapas bars.

Travel:

The villa is 25 minutes drive from Malaga airport and is easy to access via the motoway and N340 coast road. The village is also well serviced by local bus routes to Malaga and Marbella to the West and most major towns to the

east. Use of a car is recommended but not essential.

Distances:

There are many of places of interest within easy reach of the villa including Malaga, Marbella and Porta Banus (20-40km) to the west and the Caves of Nerja and many traditional 'white' villages (20-30km) to the east. There are several shopping malls and excellent entertainment complexes only 5-10 km away.

Further Details:

Inland there is the beautiful lake Vindulea and great opportunities for walking, climbing and cycling. To the west is the town of Malaga and an number of coastal resorts, including Marbella. The traditional seaside village of Benajarafe has a range of good local facilities including excellent seafood restaurants, tapas bars, supermarkets, bank, wonderful bakery, newspaper shops etc which are only within a few minutes walk of the villa.

Booking Notes:
An initial payment, the deposit of £500 is required to secure the villa. The full villa rental payment is required 2 months prior to the date of using the villa. The deposit is then returned minus any damages after you leave the villa.

Changeover Day:
Saturday is preferred, although flexible especially out of season.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.

The main benefits of Villa 2 is its close proximity to the beach (only 200 meters) and its easy access to and from the airport and other tourist hot spots eg marinas (5km),golf courses(2km), large shopping complexes(5km) etc. Other benefits include being good value (Villa sleeps 14),the private pool, plenty of internal and external space, 3+ bathrooms, the indoor and outdoor alfresco BBQ and dining areas, large pool terrace area, seperate table tennis area, secure on site parking, on site Spanish speaking staff, a table tennis table, a bicycle satellite TV, all mod cons/dishwasher/washing machine, private and quiet location, good security on site/own safe etc, disabled access, air con in main lounge plus fans in all rooms, a wet room etc.

  • Notes on accommodation: Air-conditioning is provided in the ground floor reception area and fans are provided in all first floor bedrooms. Outside: Very large south facing patio, pool and barbeque area with seperate shaded courtyard area. The villa has sole use of a large 10m x 5m private pool which is fitted with the latest purification system with sunbathing patio and alfresco dining area overlooking the pool. Outside area includes Table 12 chairs, 12 sunloungers, seperate table tennis area. Utility Room: Washing machine and washing lines. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The villa will be cleaned on arrival and will include all linen and towels. (Guests will need to bring beach towels). An additional premium can be made for additional chamber maid services. A member of staff is available on site most days.
