Apartment in La Herradura, Costa Tropical - Just 300 Yards from both Beach and Local Facilities
Our recently built three bedroom apartment is on the second floor, accessible by 2 lifts if needed. It has an L-shaped lounge with dining area. Patio doors to the south facing terrace, looking down La Herradura's main street to the sea. There is both a full bathroom and a separate shower room. The communal pool has its own sunny terrace. La Herradura is ideal for families with its 2km beach and normally quiet atmosphere, although becoming bustling during the Spanish holiday season. A selection of restaurants back parts of the beach. They serve a variety of Spanish and international dishes, but few “English” specialities such as roast meats.

"We had a fantastic holiday. La H was lovely and we were made welcome everywhere we went. It was really nice to stay in a real 'Spanish' village again. Was like Nerja 15 yrs ago! The food was very good, we tried out most of your suggestions – all good, El Salon was great. The cleanest, best equipped rental we have ever experienced. Comfy, spacious and blessed with the most interesting balcony in Spain. Superb location for easy and quick access to the town or the main bus stop for those who want to explore further afield. Plenty of on-street parking
Spacefull, big and clean appartement in sweet village
We had a pleasant stay at this appartement in la Herradura. It was roomy, it had a wonderfull kitchen with every tool you could need to cook. Also the television, wifi and stereo gave us some home-entertainment. The appartement was very clean and the location wonderfull. It's close to the busstop, the beach, the salon with good tapas and supermarket and stores in the city centre. The swimming pool at the building is also very pleasant .The appartement is situated at the mainroad of the village. For us it was therefore unpleasant to sit on the balcony because of the exhaust gasses and traffic noise.

La Herradura's 2km long beach is about 300 yards away (10 minutes walk).
Malaga airport is 45 minutes drive, motorway standard.
Granada airport is an hours drive, 95% motorway standard.
Car hire is recommended.
Local and regional buses stop in La Herradura.
Almunecar is the nearest town with a good selection of shops and more lively nightlife. It is just 10 minutes drive. Nerja is 10 minutes drive (tourist centre and caves).
Granada (and Alhambra Palace) is 50-60 minutes drive.
All are reachable by bus from La Herradura.
La Herradura's local amenities are within 300 yards, with a supermarket 50 yards away. There are a good selection of restaurants behind the beach and some good beach bars to relax in.
