Fabulous apartment.One of the best we've stayed at.Highly recommended.

Daphne and John have left nothing to chance in making this a real home from home with everything you could ever need. Brilliant. The complex is superb, beautifully clean, immaculate well tended garden areas with constant security on site at all times. We loved the three pool areas which on the whole were nice and quiet, ideal for peace and relaxation although the time of year could have influenced that.

We have nothing to say but good things regarding our stay at Villa Sol, not forgetting the friendly agents who welcomed us and went out of their way to help us with a couple of minor problems not worth mentioning about

We will definitely be returning in the not too distant future, and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the apartment to anybody wanting a lovely holiday with everything taken care of. Many thanks to Daphne and John and all concerned.

Comfortable well equipped apartment

We have just returned from Vila Sol which is an excellent family resort. We have stayed at Vila Sol on numerous occasions however we found this apartment to be the best so far. For a family of four it was spacious and well equipped. We felt comfortable and there was ample room to sit out on the balcony or the roof terrace. It is close to the gate for the pool and pool bar. The owners responded to enquiries quickly and again we received the best service in terms of communication etc than we have on previous visits. Thank you would definitely recommend and if we return next year we will stay here.

My wife have just spent 4 weeks in Daphne and Johns lovely apartment. Like last October our stay was perfect. The apartment is very spacious,light and airy.

Lovely apartment in a great location

We had a fantastic holiday in this lovely apartment. Immaculately clean, spacious and very well equipped. The apartment complex is lovely too with excellent swimming pools and walking distance to restaurants and shops. Overall - this apartment is excellent value and we would certainly go back again with our two children! Many thanks!

Lovely apartment and great holiday

We had a wonderful holiday in this apartment in June. The apartment is very spacious and well equipped and we particularly appreciated the large roof terrace for sunbathing and barbecues. The balcony off the lounge is also a good size and overlooks the lovely grounds and swimming pools which were also very well maintained. We used the pool bar for meals and drinks by the pool which was very good value, and Oscars bar is also worth a visit in the evenings for a range of entertainment. The Pingo Doce supermarket is very close by and has a good variety of foods. Vilamoura is only 10 mins drive away and has a large choice of good restaurants. Also worth a visit is the water park which is literally just up the road.

I would definitely recommend this apartment and hope to re-visit in the future.

Lovely apartment

We had a wonderful holiday in this apartment at the end of June. The apartment is lovely - very spacious, luxurious and well-furnished with all the equipment you could need. We particularly liked the large roof terrace for sunbathing and BBQs, and the balcony off the lounge was also large with a lovely view over the swimming pools. The pool bar was great for a drink or a snack, and the pool area and gardens were well looked after. Oscars bar is also well worth a visit in the evening as there was entertainment most nights. All-in-all an excellent holiday, and we would definitely consider booking here again.

We have spent many holidays in the Algarve when our family were growing up and it was our intention to spend the winters in Portugal and the warmer weather in the UK. We looked at a number of developments along the Algarve coast and fell in love with Vila Sol because of the quality of the apartments and the spaciousness of the gardens and pool areas. We retired soon after purchasing the apartment when it was first built, but then grandchildren then hobbies began to take up much of our time and we have never yet spent the winters in Portugal. We do however manage to stay at the apartment 3 or 4 times a years, spending time with family and friends.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Faro at 20 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : Oscars at 400 Metres Nearest Golf : Pestana Vila Sol at 1.5 Kilometres Nearest Train : Loule station at 5 Kilometres Nearest Motorway : N396 at 500 Metres Nearest Restaurant : Paisagem at 500 Metres Nearest Beach : Falesia beach at Vilamoura or Quarteira at 3 Kilometres Car: recommended


There are a number of beaches within 10 mins drive and the Aqua Park is only 2 mins drive. The Aqua Park has been extended over the past few years and families can now enjoy many features similar to the Florida water parks.


20 minutes from Faro airport. Car hire is recommended.


Vilamoura marina is a 5 mins. drive away. The town of Loule with its indoor and outdoor markets is also within a 15 min. drive. A number of beaches are within 10 mins drive.

Further Details:

Restaurants within walking distance of the apartment and the nearest supermarket is 1 mile away. There is a convenience store within a few mins. walk of the apartment and they provide basics, water, milk, bread etc.

From the Owner

We enjoy relaxing in the beautiful surroundings and just doing as little as possible. The apartment is near to Vilamoura with its lovely marina and we love the fact that we can go to a different restaurant every day if we wished, although we also like to chill out with a BBQ and a glass (or more) of excellent wine that costs a lot less than here in the UK.

  • Notes on accommodation: The apartment is situated on the first floor with parking to the front. Air conditioning/heating is fitted in the lounge/diner and bedrooms. A safe is also fitted for extra security. This is a non-smoking apartment and not suitable for children under 5. Outside: Balcony and terrace to lounge and bedrooms are complete with outside furniture. The large roof terrace is equipped with loungers, table and chairs and barbecue. Three pools are available for use (one heated), plus two childrens pools and jacuzzi set in the landscaped gardens. Free WiFi is available around the pool and in Deli Coffee and Oscars pub, all within 2/3 mins. walk, but not available inside the apartment. Utility Room: Washing machine and separate dryer. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linens and towels are provided, but not pool towels. Apartment is cleaned before and after each guest stay. Towels and linen change depends on duration of holiday. Extra cleaning and laundry can be arranged at extra charge.
