Sleeps 8 plus baby. 'Le Roumanin' is a pretty attached self contained villa with a large swimming pool. It has four double bedrooms all en suite each opening onto its own southerly and lake facing terrace. It is situated on a hillside and set amongst lavender and rosemary gardens. 30 minutes drive to the famous Gorge du Verdon and 90 minutes to the Mediterranean.

Having travelled the world fell in love with its wonderful views of mountains and lake.

Only 2 hours from Nice Cannes and even closer to St Tropez and Marseille it was so convenient for everything that matters to me and my family

Beautiful home, stunning location and the perfect place for a reunion/family trip

We had a fabulous time at Paul’s place for an extended family reunion. Everything you need is available for you. Paul and Debbie are fabulous hosts and extremely friendly and accommodating- they can be available to help you as little or as much as you like. Their house is cinnwcted however completely separate and you have total privacy in the villa. The home is perfectly laid out with each bedroom having an en-suite plus patio and plenty of space to relax and enjoy meals together. There is an abundance of outdoor space including a pool with lounge chairs etc. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute we spent at the home (mostly on the terraces and by the pool). The town is beautiful and is an easy (steep) walk down a trail (no more than 5-10 minutes). The lake is beautiful and there seemed to be lots of trails connected around the lake plus boat/kayak rentals as well. Paul and Debbie have this dialled - the accommodation is perfect and in a perfectly small town with short driving access to attractions in the area. Our only regret was that we didn’t stay for long enough! Thank you Paul and Debbie for an extremely memorable stay and for your excellent hospitality! We enjoyed it thoroughly and hope we can be back but definitely for longer next time!

Beautiful villa in fabulous location.

We spent 3 delightful weeks in Esparron de Verdon. The facilities in the villa were first class with each bedroom having it's own outside space as well as a well appointed ensuite. The owners were very friendly and helpful but not intrusive, nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic views from the large garden, short but very steep path down to the village which was OK once you had done it a couple of times. Many interesting places to visit within easy driving distance, the Gorges de Verdon are spectacular and we were amazed and delighted to see eagles gliding and swooping overhead. The local market at Greoux les Bains was one of the best we have found in our numerous trips to France. The Patio restaurant in Greoux is worth a visit as is the Pre history museum in Quinson, as a bonus try the Relais de Notre Dame for lunch. We would certainly recommend this villa and would love to spend another holiday there.

Chilling out

A truly panoramic view,peaceful and a place to get away from it all. Ample secluded spaces,in and out, for those quiet, private moments as well as large communal areas.The accommodation is tastefully furnished, with good facilities and well maintained.

The English owners are delightedly hospitable and provide an excellent service.

Plenty of local markets and places of interest easily accessible.It is Provence so hilly with narrow winding roads and spectacular scenery.

Not our first visit so what brings us back- a stunning view, tranquility and comfortable surroundings- not forgetting the glorious blue skies, superb sunsets and all that sunshine!

Un accueil chaleureux et confiant

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans la villa de Monsieur Bainbridge à Esparron. La maison est très belle, bien entretenue et décorée avec goût. Les chambres sont jolies avec chacune leur salle de bain ce qui est très agréable. M. et Mme Bainbridge nous ont accueillis très chaleureusement , dans une relation de confiance que nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Bref, nous recommandons cette location qui apporte toute satisfaction.
