About the property

5 bedrooms, four bathrooms, superby sea view

Our villa has magnificent views over the Mediterranean. We have a beautiful infinity swimming pool, lots of terrace space and patio area. We are about a mile from the village which boasts a supermarket, butcher, baker, wonderful restaurant, chemist, doctors, hairdressers, tabac and paper shop and an office de tourisme. The lounge, dining room and kitchen all face the sea, as do four of the bedrooms, three of which have balconies. We are about l5 miles from St Tropez, there are lots of good beaches within a close distance and if you like markets, you can go to a different one every day! The house was totally renovated in 2001. We have satellite TV, video and stereo. There is a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. We have tried to make our villa so its like home from home as soon as you arrive. There are also two high chairs and a travel cot. In 2007 we installed a boules pitch so with the table tennis table as well as the pool, you can be very active!

About Joyce Parish

We are a family of five and an extended family of 15 who have all enjoyed our villa. My husband works long hours and I look after the villa, our dog, and when our adult children come home, them as well! We have had friends and family staying at the villa from 2001 and are very happy sharing our home with all of them.

Why Joyce Parish chose Rayol-Canadel-sur-Mer

We bought in Rayol in 2001 after spending four years in rented accommodation. It is totally unspoilt and not crowded on the roads. There are many beaches to choose from within a close drive from the villa. There are also numerous restaurants and markets also within a short drive. A different market every day if you are so inclined!!

What makes this villa unique

Our property is conveniently situated a mile from the village which has everything you would need. The boules pitch provides great exercise and the infinity pool is a lovely place to cool off. We have 12 sun beds and umbrellas, lots of shady places and also a lovely patio overlooking the sea for alfresco eating. We also have a large decking area and grassy area for relaxation.

Notes on accommodation: The villa may not be suitable for young children or the infirm as there are steps leading down to the house. Please ask owner. Outside: Our pool is an infinity one which l0m x 5m and 2m deep. It is a private pool but is not heated. We have enough outside furniture to accommodate at least l2 people. The barbeque is on the patio outside the kitchen.There is a table tennis table and boules pitch. More for our tenants to enjoy on site! Utility Room: Washing machine, tumble dryer, additional fridge/freezer. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels are included. Cleaning is included at end of stay. Midweek clean for 2 or more week let. Beach towels not included. Other: Lounge dining room together

The nearest beach is about a mile away and there are several other beaches along the coast within a very short driving distance. All of the beaches have restaurants and toilet facilities and fairly easy parking.


Toulon is the closest airport, about 35 kilometres. Ryan Air fly here from Stansted but not on Saturday. The other two airports are Nice and Marseilles which are about 60 miles away.Ryanair, Easyjet and BA fly to these airports. A car is essential.


The village of Rayol is a mile away with most facilities. The towns of Le Lavandou and Cavalaire are about 3 miles away in opposite directions. Our villa is about in the middle of these two towns. St Tropez is l5 miles away and the village of Gassin about l0. This is a lovely hilltop village with beautiful views and superb restaurants.

Further Details:

Our village has everything you would need from bread to meat, wine to restaurants. There is a bank, post office, etc.

There are tennis courts in the small village of Cavaliere and also a golf range.

Refundable Damage Deposit £500

Booking Notes:
A deposit of 20% will be required and the balance due within 6 weeks of arrival. A security deposit of £500 to be sent when the balance is due and this will be returned immediately on your departure by bank transfer.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is saturday. Arrival time is between 4pm and 7pm. Departure is at 10am.
