About the Owner

Our apartment is owned by three members of our family , my mum, my sister and myself. We bought it about 7 years ago so we could all enjoy having an apartment abroad. We all married and have families of our own.

My father then had a severe stroke, which made it difficult for them to use the apartment, so the decision was made to rent it as well as use it ourselves as we didnt want to sell it and mum could have some rent.

We love our apartment, its got lovely views of the sea and as it is not overlooked. it is in the old town and only 5 mins from the sea.

we have spend time renovating it and it had a real friendly home from home appeal whilst being modern

It is used by all members of the family.

Thanks for the use of the apartment it does have a very handy location. We made the train from Malaga airport and a caught the late train and easily found the apartment.It is a nice apartment that you have created, we found it very comfortable and liked the way you had decorated. The little homely touches make all the difference. The view from the balcony was great and let us watch some big storms come across the bay.

We lucked out on the weather front and managed to get back from Torremolinos to the UK yesterday just in time to catch a little bit of the sunny weather back in the UK.

A fantastic apartment with a new modern look, everything on doorstep including nice local bars, restaurants and railway station which is a link to the airport. Would recommend a stay and will probably go back for a further visit.

Location

From the Owner

We feel that it still real Spain, it has a bus route outside the apartment, a train station over the road, taxi rank outside so we dont really see the need to rent a car. It has access to so many places from Gibraltar to the south and Seirra Nevada (skiing) to the North.

Car: not necessary

Coast/Beach:

Only 5 minutes walk to extensive beach areas and 1 minute from the town centre.

Travel:

Malaga is the nearest airport which is approximately 10 minutes drive (taxi) or 12 minutes by train.

Distances:

Malaga is 30 minutes by train and there is a regular train service along the coast covering Malaga to Fuengirola. Marbella is 45 minutes by car and Gibraltar only 1.5 hours away.

Further Details:

Local facilities include Tivoli World, Torremolinos Water Park, Thursday market, Cable Car, Zoo, City of Malaga, extensive shopping/bars and restaurants. Two large golf courses nearby.
