Perfect location and astonishing view.

A very nice apartment overlooking the harbour and the open see from the bedroom window.

Many nice restaurants nearby.

Everything you need from full equipped kitchen with dishwasher,micro, coffemachine,fridge and freezer to a nice bathroom with washing machine.

If you go round the corner of the house you find a place where you can watch the sunset.

Great appt. amazing views

Not an attractive building from the outside but once you have negotiated the stairs and got into the apartment, opening the French doors onto the balcony is a truly breathtaking experience! The view is stunning whether looking out to the mountains above Soller or looking at the array of boats in the harbour directly below. The apartment is well equipped but we usually find ourselves sitting on the balcony whenever we are at the flat and in the 4 occasions we have stayed there or in flat 9 above I don't think we have ever sat in the living area inside! The view from the bedroom is also superb looking out to open sea. It is a 2 minute walk down to the harbour side bars and restaurants and 5 mins to the beach. It is good value for money and you can pay a lot more for other apartments in Port de Soller that may look athestically more pleasing but few of them offer the views and location that this apartment does.

Location

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

The apartments are a 5 minute walk from a safe, sandy beach with paddle boats and reclining chairs. There is an underwater diving school in the port and holiday makers can hire sail surfers and there are boat trips along a beautiful rocky coastline to other beach resorts and coves.

Travel:

The airport is a half hour drive by car. Car hire isn't necessary. If need be, there are local hire companies in the Port. There is a bus to Palma every hour from 7.00 am to 9pm and a regular service on a delightfully festive train that follows the edge of the sea to the town of Soller through orange and lemon groves. There is also a train to Palma from Soller. An English speaking driver called Toni can pick you up at the airport:contact direct taxisoller@hotmial.com

Distances:

The town of Soller with its beautiful stone houses and lovely patios is 5 minutes away by car and has an old market selling fresh fish which you can also buy off the fishing boats in the Port.

Further Details:

These apartments are wonderful winter sun traps in autumn and spring. Walking in the surrounding Soller mountains along well market paths and highly recommended route information is available with booking.

The waterfront at the Port is lined with pavement restaurants and bars offering local wines, holiday cocktails and a delicious variety of cuisines. Outside the front door, the Santa Catalina restaurants offer a rich variety of specialityh Mallorca dishes. There are gourmet take-aways, supermarkets and a chemist and medical centre nearby.

The perfect Mediterranean climate of the Soller valley has nurtured the production of the finest oranges and lemons in the world. A relaxing holiday is assured, gazing at boats gliding in and out of the harbour, people watching by the water or in the cafes of the square of Soller. Relaxing on the beach or following one of the many picturesque paths in the Sierra D'Tramuntara mountain range that surround the lovely Soller valley.
